[Q] HELP! Xperia home uninstalled automatically after reboot! - Xperia Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hello xda members.. i had bought an xperia z1 last october. wonderful phone and still i hadnot found z3 not worth upgrading!
anyway coming to the point,i had rooted it 4 months ago and using titanium backup..no problem there.... but a couple of days ago i had unlocked BL(backed up TA partition many times in these 4 months)using official method, installed boot.img of cyanogenmod 11 snapshot 10 and then flashed it.There was a strange problem! my old photos were not showing in photo explorer of CM,no vdos also showing in MX player even i had photos and vdos on both mem card and phone memory! everything was fine except those. I had used SD KITKAT FIX as well. Well, after 24 hours i was missing xperia UI and so i again rec=locked BL using Flashtool, then restored dry run of TA...ok everything..restored TA then....AFTER THAT I had flashed stock ftf of KITKAT 4.4.4 which I had made from official update process through sony PC companion.
Now I has rooted, restored all apps using old backups of Titanium Backup (app+data). The strange problem of not showing anything in album or Mxplayer still persists! And one thing also, that after a reboot my Xperia Home launcher is lostand xperia simple is applied automatically! I always have to restore it with Titanium Backup, which is really annoying me. Is there any solution for this problem?! sometimes xperia chinese keyboard or google voice type is activated instead of Swiftkey which i use! and i noticed that "Xperia wallpaper,Xperia camera add ons,Xperia social share....etc are also uninstalled automatically! i always reinstall them.. but again these got uninstalled if i Reboot!"
Sorry for such large query but hope anyone solve my problem! I had restored "app only" too but same problem persists!
wHAT SHOULD I DO??????????????????????????????????
tHANKING YOU,

[HELP] Text messages randomly disappearing, return after reboot

Hi everybody, I've recently bought a new I8190N, about two weeks ago, coming from a rooted but messed up Galaxy Ace, I decided to don't root it at all just for now, but a few days ago, when I was texting my gf (with the stock sms app), all new messages I was sending were not sending at all, the sending spinner just stayed there forever.
Then, I pressed back and after a millisecond conversations thread became empty, saying "no messages, to write a new message... etc", so I tried backup sms's with Sms Backup & Restore and it did, they were all still there, but neither stock sms app nor go sms pro displayed them. After a reboot, they magically reappeared. From then, it happened once a day independently from how many messages I am sending.
Also, I read of similar problems on lots of other Samsung phones, but no solution was found all over the internet, so, is this a Samsung's Jelly Bean bug or could it be just an app that interferes with mmssms.db? Or a carrier related issue? :banghead: Thanks to everyone who will help me

Why don't you try a newer firmware with ODIN? As far as I know, first release of 4.1.2 had some bugs.
flash a newer firmware, or software update your phone.
for SIII Mini, I think you need a CM. stock is too buggy and slow to use
I'd try when I will be ready to start with flashing like I did on my previous phone, till then will try to bear the bug... the only thing is that on my NFC model I'll need to flash a different country firmware (if I want to stay stock) for N, or also the non-N firmwares will work? (Obviously losing NFC capability) for what concerns CyanogenMod, I like it but I'm more like a stock-lover thank you guys
I flashed another firmware (mine is from december while newest is from july), done a factory reset and when I restored SMS with SMS Backup & Restore, when it was approximately reaching the restored messages number of a particular message (a message I sent with GO SMS Pro containing emoji coming from the go sms emoji plugin) message app has crashed and bug happened again, so I revert to my origina FW but this time I'm not restoring that SMS. Hope that will fix my bug, because I'm thinking it was a corrupted mmssms.db database file... I'll see and post what happens so everyone having my problem will probably find a solution!
Ok, just appened again, don't know what to do :crying:
Flash CM 10.1

I found that the culprit was Viber, it goes in conflict with sms databases and causes the bug (maybe because it has the permission to read and edit sms) so after uninstalling it I've never experienced the bug again... it's a little bit strange I think

[Q] Camera Not Working

Hello all, I have recently bought a brand new sony xperia z . I've unlocked it and installed PAC ROM. Then I've put it under water for 5 minutes, after a reboot, the phone didn't turn on. I tried flashing a stock ftf file but it didn't work. I took it to the repair center, there was a hardware issue. After it got repaired, I installed once again PAC ROM. I noticed that I could only open the camera app once because if I open it once again, the phone would reboot. I thought it could the ROM's bug so I reverted to stock but I couldn't even use it for once: once I open the camera app in stock rom, it would directly reboot.
I am afraid that there's a hardware issue, though I am not sure if it's because of the ROM or unlocking the phone because I didn't try the camera app before bricking the phone.
Any Ideas or help?
Can anyone please help me with this issue?

[Q] Problem after updating 4.3 in ZR

Random reboots

Hi. I hate this phone.
After three months since I got it, one day it turned off by itself and never turned on again. I sent it to customer care in the store where it came from, and they changed the battery. The moment I got home, the phone had the same problem. So I tried Sony PCC to repair it. It turned on, I installed some apps and suddendly it turned off again. I suspected it was because I deactivated bravia engine, but I'm not so sure that's the problem. Anyway, I decided to downgrade to Android 4.1 version .254 with root. Now the phone seems to be working. But sometimes it just reboots by itself. It happened once when I was scrolling Facebook, and twice when I was using Chrome. It just reboots and restars like nothing happened.
Is this a Ram problem? I can't put the latest firmware because the phone doesn't work AT ALL with it. What can I do?
Hi. Try to flash 254 fw with flashtool. It could help.
Flash the latest FTF via Flashtool
I have quite similar issue on my Xperia SP (random reboots). I have latest official rom installed via PCC.
Try switching off Stamina Mode and see if it keeps happening. It seems to work in my case.
