Android 1 ROM has been ported to the Redmi 4x from the Xiaomi Mi A1. It was ported by members of a Russian forum which is not allowed here on XDA (I think). Anyway, we all knew someone was going to port it to Xiaomi's other phones and apparently it's happening. Here's a little more information:

I haven't used it. I was just passing on the information. From the comments on the MIUI Forums thread it sounds pretty buggy yet.

flash rom
some stuff in Aroma chinese i did not translate all from my language. sorry. but short aroma so just press next if confused (only 3 chinese words left )

leave everything default, It will be ok. only option in aroma is wipe cache, just do beforehand and leave all default. or wipe cache after install
