Hey!
Im a happy Z1 user, but recently one thing has really started to annoy me. I used to listen a lot of music in my car from phone (LG L5) with AUX connected to the car stereo , but after i got Xperia Z1 and when i turn volume up there will be a lot of so called white noise sound in the background. My friend has a compact and his phone does exactly the same. Infact, other devices like Galaxy S's and LG's does not have that issue. Also when i listen trough normal headphones everything is okay. And yes i've tried different cables.
Can you give me any advice why is it that this issue occurs?
Thanks!

I bought a pair of Sennheiser CX300 headphones for my HD2 and I started noticing an annoying background noise in every audio application (including games). The noise volume is constant so if the audio is below a certain level it starts becoming very noticeable. It is also strange that the noise continues for about a second even after stopping the audio. I tested the headphones with other devices and they work fine.
I wonder if anyone else has this problem with other headphones? Does this have anything to do with the impedance of the headphones (16 Ohm for the CX300)?
Hi, I also baught in-ear-headphones the day before yesterday, stood infront of the sennheiser ones you baught but took the Sony MDR-EX76LP instead.
When I tested them I didn't hear a background noise but was not really impressed by the sound.
I was used the in-ear headphones that came as headset of my Sony Ericsson W800i cellphone and they sound much better and also isolate the outer noise (much better in airplanes and so on). Also others can't hear what I'm listening to which is also nicer in the metro... Seems to be a feature for the new Sony headsets but is rather a bug for me...
So I build myself a new headset using the HTC headset with remote and mic and soldering the old sony ericsson in-ear headphones onto the remote. Works really nice... I also took pictures to write a HowTo and will upload them maybe later... Similar description...
Hi guys!
So, as most of you probably know, Sony BTN-200 became available several weeks ago. This headset features support of latest Bluetooth profiles and NFC Easy Connect.
Yesterday, I received it from Amazon. So far, so good. Although I have found couple minuses:
1. It only pairs with one device (in difference from MW600, which was able to pair with 2 mobiles and computer)
2. While connected to my XPERIA T the volume is very low even on maximum level.
So, with first I can deal, no problem. But the second problem is quite dissatisfying, I've tried several sound enhancements, nothing.
Any ideas?
And if any of you also have bought it, please share your experience.
Hi,
I have read in a different post,
That after trying to make a screenshot the volume suddenly became louder!
I still have to try this my self as I have the same problem with my bluetooth headset.
It is just not loud enough to be listening in the subway...
Never had the problem using same headset and HTC desire Z
I ll try it tonight
Cheers
Tony
I have to bump this thread up.
I've recently bought this headset and I have exactly the same problem as described in the first post. The volume is way too quiet but after making a screenshot it becomes much louder... this is really strange as the headset itself works perfectly with calls etc. I'm a little bit unsatisfied with the audio quality but still the volume problem is the biggest one as I don't want to make a screenshot every time it's too low...
So in the last few days i see like.. a LOT of topics started with the title (audio problem etc)
The problem is that de Xperia Z doesn't recognizes an headphone with a inbuit microphone (like the Apple Earpods)
However... the Xperia Z does recognize headphones WITHOUT microphone buit-in!
Try using a normal pair of earbuds without mic and see if the problem is still there... im 100% sure that this is the problem and not with the new update! (or your headphone jack is faulty)
Also had this problem with my Xperia Arc were the music sounds muffled..
So you want to use headphones with inbuilt mic with the Xperia Z?
1. plug in the headphones
2. start the music player (dont play music yet)
3. press a few times on the play button/answer button on the mic and the music will start trough the headphones!
This is an issue with the software on the Xperia Z and not with 4.2.2

Harvey

Except that for most of users having this problem, the headset was working under the 4.1.2 and NOT with the 4.2.2 update so it think it's an issue with the 4.2.2 update or something like that as you can read it here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2355500
I'm having large problem, because I like listen music with headphones. When I connect my headphones to my S Advance, and playing music with any players, I hear only left side of headphones playing , right sight sound crack and build a big noise, I tried samsung headset and my Sony headphones aslo i tried JBL. The same f*ckin problem. With computer everything is normal. What it could be?
but when i screen lock no noise.
its software or hardware problem..??
My one friend tell me that its mobile board problem.change it.
Hey guys.
I bought this phone a few months ago and so far i been loving everything about it.
Recently i also bought the Beats Solo3 Wireless headphones, but for some reason the even with the phone volume maxed up its pretty low (i mean very low).
I tried connecting an Apple device to this same headphones wirelessly too and the volume was way higher than it was on my Huawei P20.
Any ideas of what can i do about this? What should i try?
Thanks in advance.

I gave it a try to all of the apps on that website and it does boost a little bit of the sound, the problem about it is that it distorts everything, so basically i get louder music but the quality goes pretty bad.
I tried hooking up this same headphones via cable and the sound quality is amazing, just when im wireless it gets kinda low.
