[Q] Galaxy plus recovery bootloop - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys!
I was trying to install custom kit kat rom on my spare i9001 plus. Phone was rooted with no problem. After installing zip of CWM v6.0.1.3 I'm in a recovery bootloop and the biggest issue is i can't acces any of the recovery options! I can only switch between them. VOL button is up and down, menu key and option key is also up and down, return and power botton does nothing. Any idea please?

Need a script to force odin to reboot to recovery mode

Hello all,
I have an s3 mini which I am unable to boot into CWM recovery. I have tried countless times and flashed cwm twice but it my phone would not boot to it. Whenever I hold down the Volume up + Home + Power buttons it just boots normally. But I am able to get it into download/odin mode so what I need is a sort of script or file that I can flash through odin to force my phone to boot into recovery mode.

[Q] Unable to enter recovery mode after installing CWM

Hi,
I'm using Samsung galaxy mini(S5570), i was trying to flash my mobile, so I rooted it and then installed CWM (using Odin Multi Downloader v4.38, TASS_v1.0.ops, tass-recovery-cwm.tar), but after doing that I'm unable enter to recovery mode.
When I'm holding power button & home button together to enter to recovery mode the Samsung logo is coming and staying till I'm rebooting mobile.
Somebody please help me to solve it, I hardly need to flash my mobile.

If the samsung logo comes up, release power button and only hold home. I think your home button has contact issues, so keep trying, it might just happen once.

[Q] Power Button not working

Help, i just flash my galaxy note 4.1.2 via ODIN. The problem is it keeps rebooting. So i tried to enter android system recovery to wipe cache. The problem. I am able to move up&down using volume rocker but cannot select an option with power button. Why it is not working?
I have reflash many times. why?
Check if the power button works for selection... Else you may try flashing philz kernel which has a touch recovery.

SM-G920I TWRP Recovery Mode Help

Hi All,
I have a SM-G920I,
rooted it with ping pong root (confirmed rooted with root checker app).
installed the twrp app and Stericson busy box
installed the twrp recovery mode or boot loader, it confirmed it was successful
rebooted into twrp recovery.*********PROBLEMS*****************
Its stuck at the SAMSUNG Galaxy S6 powered by android screen for more then 20 minutes.
I'ved tried
1) power+volume down (that reboots it) back to logo
2) I've tried the above and then volume up+power+home, releasing power when the logo appears
3) I've tried the above and then volume up+power+home, not releasing power when the logo appears
4) I've tried the above and volumn down+home.
all 4 options leave me with the same problem. samsung logo screen and no options
I've scowered the inter-webs for a solution and haven't found anything to help. similar posts always suggest "just volumn up+power+home to recovery mode" but I cannot get there.
any suggestions?
so I'm an idiot. apparently a combination of volume down+power then volume down+power+home put me in odin download mode. problem solved....
