1gb enough making data voice calls?

Here in brazil i spend aprox 700 kb per minute of talk, so 100 minutes should give less than 10 % of your plan

[Q] Even More Plus 200 MB Overage Free Plan??

Even More Plus 200 MB Overage Free Plan
So T-Mobile has these Data plans but they are "Overage Free". I had T-Mobile Data since the days of the $5.99 T-Zones with my Nokia N900. Once i got over 20,000 MB in a single month. (with the N900, mostly YouTube) YES OVER 20GB OF DATA IN A SINGLE MONTH.
And now i have the $20 Android Data Plan in my MyTouch 4G, I average about 10-12 GB per month. I NEVER HAD MY DATA/3G REDUCED OR TEMP. DISCONNECTED!!!!
My question is, if i have an overage-free plan, i can get any plan, the cheapest one, and still go over the data cap, without paying extra fees...
But they say "No overages! (After 200 MB, data speeds may be reduced)", so it may be reduced, but not guaranteed to be reduced...
I'm bringing this discussion because I'm thinking in getting an LG G-Slate or a Galaxy Tab with the $29.99 Even More Plus 200 MB webConnect® Overage Free Plan
So,
Has anyone had a similar situation?
What plan and the cost? any overages?
I have us tmoble with the 5gig plan.
As soon as i go over 5 gigs i get a text from tmobile and my speeds get slower than dial up.
Its BS.
Hit the thanks button if i have helped

Are on the Overage-free plan?
and do you get kicked off HSPA to EDGE, or do the slowness continue still in HSPA connection?
Where are you finding an Even More Plus overage-free plan? The T-mobile site removed all of them a while back, I thought, and now you can only do that with Even More (i.e. with 2-year contract).

[Q] Tmobile prepaid Unlimited everything 50$

I successfully got out of contract with my n1 without an etf
Is the tmobile prepaid unlimited plain for 50 dollars really worth it? it says everything unlimited then says first 100 mb 4g speeds. I can deal with just 3g if i only pay 50 a month. Why do i feel like this is to good to be true.
any comments?
http://www.t-mobile.com/shop/plans/prepaid-plans.aspx
heres the link to the plans. I dont want to port my number over before i do something stupid.
You would have to deal with 3g speeds no matter what. Nexus one is not a 4g phone.
The real question is what is actual download speed cap after 100mb.

What phone plan do you have? (any country)

I'm just curious as to what kind of plans are out there in the world compared to my plan and my country.
Right now I think I'm getting ripped off hardcore; cause I'm looking at the new plans from my same provider and they're offering waaaay more for just a little bit more money.
This is my plan : unlimited texts;international also, unlimited incoming calls, unlimited evenings and weekends, and 200 anytime mins, with NO DATA.
the sad thing is the price: $33.90/month.
my phone is a nexus s and I'm on Fido (a subsidiary of Rogers)
so.... what kinda plans do you guys have and how much do you pay per month?
On VZW I'm paying
$39.99 - 450 mins
$10.00 - 1000 messages
$50.00 - 10 GB data (double data promo)
A little over $100/mo after taxes and fees.
Sprint
$69.99 = Unlimited texts, unlimited data, 450 minutes (landline), unlimited minutes (cell to cell)
$10.00 = premium data (for having the 4 geez i guess)
$11.00 = insurance
27% discount = no idea why i got that...
---------------
$78 / month
R$ 17 -> For other carriers and home numbers
R$ 10 -> R$ 0,50 for messages, and R$ 0,50 for internet, they day that any of those two are used.

Basically yes, but the speed is horrible, even on H signal, and I have only R$ 10 per month to share with messages, which have the same rule: I can send unlimited messages in the day I use and will only pay R$ 0,50.
But my carrier tricked me and my mom a few weeks ago. My mom went to my carrier shop to change my plan from other one to this one. I thought, in the next day, that it already changed (takes about 1 day to change), so I activated the **** it mode and started sending a hell lot of messages in that rest of the month. At the beginning of the other month, the bill came, and there was: About 150 messages sent (R$ 55) plus the internet (R$ 29 per month, "unlimited" (quotes because it's limited for 300 MB/month, so...)), plus calls.
Result: R$ 100.
"I got my values. So you can keep yours, OK?"
R$ 52,00 -> 110mins of calls + 30msgs
R$ 10,00 -> +1000msgs
R$ 5,00 -> "unlimited" internet (actually I have around 1mbps till I use 100mb, then the speed will go to around 200kbps, but I can still use it without paying anything extra)
R$ 67,00/month

So my total - 4$

€15,00 for talk&text
€7,95 Unlimited 3G Data.
It's a collect plan, so basically I deposit €15 into my mobile wallet every month. It's stacked up to €600 by now because I only text. Not that I have that many people to text, maybe three at most, all work related.
Got it 2,5 years ago before the telecom companies turned into fulltime scammers, which means I still have truly unlimited data. So now I just keep extending my current plan. Granted, it means no new phone with a new plan, but these days you pay for your phone anyway, and there is no way I could ever get a cheaper plan now.

Nexus 5 US Prepaid Thread

This is your one stop thread for all US prepaid options. I have a paper due tomorrow, so I'll edit with more options later.
I've tried out most of the good prepaid carriers, so, hopefully, I can answer your questions.
AT&T Prepaid Carriers:
Net10:
$50 for unlimited minutes, messages, and data(2.5GB at 4G/LTE speeds).
Straight Talk:
$45 plus tax for unlimited minutes, messages, and data(2.5GB at 4G/LTE speeds).
H2o Wireless:
$60 for unlimited minutes, messages, and 3GB of data(at 3G/4G speeds)
$50 for unlimited minutes, messages, and 1GB of data(at 3G/4G speeds)
$40 for unlimited minutes, messages, and 500MB of data(at 3G/4G speeds)
$30 for unlimited minutes, messages, and 50MB of data(at 3G/4G speeds)
AIO Wireless:
4G/LTE data is throttled to 8MB/4MB
$70 for unlimited minutes, messages, and 7GB of data(7GB at 4G/LTE speeds, throttled after that)
$55 for unlimited minutes, messages, and 2GB of data(2GB at 4G/LTE speeds, throttled after that)
$40 for unlimited minutes, messages, and 250MB of data(250MB at 4G LTE speeds, throttled after that)
GoPhone
$60 for unlimited minutes, messages, and 2GB of data(at full 4G/LTE speeds)
$50 for unlimited minutes and messages.
$40 for 500 minutes, unlimited messages, and 200MB of data(at full 4G/LTE speeds)
$25 for 250 minutes and unlimited messages.
T-Mobile Prepaid Carriers:
T-Mobile Prepaid:
$70 for unlimited minutes, messages, and data(at full 4G/LTE speeds)
$60 for unlimited minutes, messages, and 2.5GB of data(2.5GB at full 4G/LTE speeds, 2G after that)
$50 for unlimited minutes, messages, and 500MB of data(500MB at full 4G/LTE speeds, 2G after that)
$30 for 100 minutes, unlimited messages, and 5GB of data(5GB at full 4G/LTE speeds, 2G after that)
$30 for 1500 combined minutes and texts, and 30MB of data(30MB at full 4G/LTE speeds).
And you didn't mention the single most popular wireless plan in the US today from T-Mobile? SHAME ON YOU!
Anyway...
$30/monthly for 100 minutes of talk/unlimited texts/5GB of data at up to 4G/LTE speeds (if supported in your area); after the 5GB cap is reached it throttles you to 2G/EDGE speeds (typically 50-150Kbps but theoretically up to about 240Kbps - yes that's Kilobits per second so at best you'd see 8-20 Kilobytes per second and that's in the best possible situation) - the data is never cut off so that's where they can get away with claiming "unlimited" in the marketing-speak.
Been on that plan for 2 years now, never had issues with it, can even do VoIP calls using Google Voice + Talkatone on 2G/EDGE and it works fine for me here in Las Vegas, we have fairly solid coverage citywide.
There really is no better plan available at this time, and there's no telling how much longer T-Mobile will offer it so, if you ain't on it yet, get on it - only available at Walmart or at T-Mobile online.
Lol, I'll get on it ASAP.
I've been on the $30/5GB plan a few times. I'm a huge fan. Right now, I'm on the Net10 plan though since T-Mobile coverage can be slightly spotty out here and I hate not being connected.

Is data still cut off after 30MB or is it just throttled?

I believe it's cut. I haven't used that plan, I'm on the $30 5GB data + 10c/minute after the first 100 minutes.
I am not a heavy talker so it's the best deal around. Although I agree on T-mobile's coverage being spotty at best. They have so many dead zones around the city, you can walk into a store and drop from full bars with excellent data speeds down to nothing in a matter of a few feet indoors.

You just need to order an LTE sim form Straighttalk. They have them right now for $7.

I just got my Nexus 5 yesterday & I haven't had a chance to go to an LTE area yet. The price of living in the middle of nowhere...
MetroPCS
you can use it on MetroPCS too, same plans as T-mobile with no roaming data.
$40 Unlimited talk and text - 500mb at 46
$50 Unlimited talk and text - 2.5GB at 4G
$60 Unlimited talk,text,data - unthrottled.
Same performance as T-mobile prepaid, just $10 cheaper and no roaming data.
Sprint $60 Unlimited Prepaid Plan
It looks like Sprint also has a $60 Unlimited plan, though they have restrictions on roaming.
Go to Sprint Website and look under Shop > Plans > No Contract Plans.
Loving MetroPCS so far it's new here in the Baltimore region; has beat out VZW in speed-test everywhere I've compared. Regarding StraightTalk and Net10 don't forget about the daily 4g cap of 150mb.
I also went with MetroPCS because it's a flat rate at $50, includes tax and fees. Not all pre pays do the same. For instance Solavei at first seems like a good deal for 4gb of non throttled data (no LTE access though) but with taxes and fees ur bill will be closer to $60 than the advertised $50.
I really think tmobile / metroPCS is the best all-around deal if service is decent in your area. 4G LTE wih HSPA+42 to fall back on is an amazing proposition.
Need some StraightTalk help: Been with them ever since I got the GNex. Right now, with the N5, I just cut the GNex SIM and it works fine on HSPA+ (6 down 2 up'ish). But I wanted LTE with the N5, so I ordered the Micro SIM for $7. I'm lazy, so I just pay the $45 and I have my credit card on file with them for a recurring charge. How do I get them to transfer the same number to the SIM, and replace the current regular SIM on my account with the new one? I noticed when I ordered the new one, it asked if I was already a ST customer, so I clicked the 'Yes' button. I tried their Live Chat, but it was hopeless.
Thx

I'm not sure if the 1500 $30 Tmobile plan gets its data cut off, it still gets slowed to 2G like the other plans. Can't get confirmation from the website since they made that plan in-store only, but I came across a CSR reply to a question on the TMo site:
Great questions rollinghills!
This plan includes 1500 minutes OR messages, so one would be deducted for either. Also, once your data limit is used, your web speeds will be slowed. You can learn more about data speed reduction here: Data Speed Reduction.
