[Q] Phone Storage Missing and Unaccessible - Galaxy Note GT-N7000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
My Galaxy Note N7000 have some issue. I hope I can get some answers:
I recently took photos with Camera Apps, and as I got home I want to checked the photos on my gallery apps and it said:
"Not Enough Spaces. Delete Unecessary Items." and then it didn't open. I thought that I have took too much photos but when I checked on Settings my internal memory has disappear. The only thing that shown is my external SD Card.
So I tried to connect my phone to PC but this happened:
http://imgur.com/T3yW8x8
I can't get to my internal storage.
FYI, I didn't root my phone. All apps are working fine. I have apps that installed to external storage.
So, I tried to flash it via odin, hoping that my files are still intact (I don't want to lose the files) And no luck either. I have wiped the cache, no luck either. On My Files apps, it says "No SD card inserted"
Can anyone give me a solution for this? I don't want to lose the files. I want to back it up but I can't get access to internal storage.
Thanks in advance.

[Q] Error:Memory unmounted or unavailable

When I open the album app, always pop-up a error "Memory unavailable" "Memory unmounted or unavailable"
Or
When I do a photo : "Memory error"
I tried to re-flash stock rom multi, but still the same.
How to fix it?
make a backup and delete all contents off the card in either settings/storage or in recovery.
Restore your backed up data, it will now work

copy everything you want to keep from your internal and/or external memory to your pc.
delete everything of your internal and/or external memory in settings/storage (Or in cmw recovery if you have installed that)
reboot
restore your data to the internal and/or external memory.

I found this page, because I had the same problem. (it's one of the first google results) And I want to leave this here, in case somebody else does, too.
After programming sd card to work as internal memory, so i could actually have some space in my phone, camera app started showing "error: memory unavailable".
None of the solutions here (or elsewhere) worked. Until i did a very simple thing.
I downloaded another camera app from playstore. All of them are taking pics normally and saving them where i want to. Problem solved. So, if anyone is on verge of buying a new phone, try that first.

[Q] Apps moved 2 external SD not accessible

Hi,
I'm unable to access some apps moved to my external SD. I think the card is corrupt, what will happen if i format it? will i loose my app data that i moved? will i loose my saved game states? please note that i'm unable to write files to external SD even via a USB - PC connection! but i can read data ( watch videos ) on external SD, no write protect in the card. Tried reboot, dust the card and put back in.
Also uninstalling apps installed on phone memory doesn't clear space, i'm running out of space on my phone memory too :|
And if i do factory reset, does the firmware also get reset to stock ROM? Please help!
No root, stock room.

before you format the sd card make sure you have ticked the keep backup of this device option in backup settings. This is save all your app data on google servers and when you reinstall the same app the data will be retained.
factory reset will delete all the apps that you have installed and will make your phone as fresh as new. you will not loose any ota firmware updates of rom.

Issues with phone after fixing Encryption Unsuccessful issues

So long story short my wife's bionic was acting up, I rooted it and installed bootstrapper upon rebooting from cw I got the encryption unsuccessfull error. I ended up downloading the firmware file from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2240725 and using rsdlite to push the files. I pulled her sd card out and copied everythign off it, unfortunately all her current pictures are on the internal memory (or was on it). When I go to storage it can see that the phone has 16GB of internal storage however it only shows 3.61GB free. I had to format the sd card to get it work properly.
The phone doesn't take a picture without the sd card in, however if I go to gallery to look at the pictures it tells me it can't find any external memory. I have tried to take some screen shots but those won't save.
I really need some help getting this phone functioning properly. Thanks in advance!

Is it possible for the note 8 without root to install/move games with APK to sd card?

Is there any way other than root to allow apps to be installed/moved on the sdcard with it's data folder? Or is that only something root can do?
And what about adoptable storage? Sdcards can be modified to trick the note 8 to use adoptable storage right? Can IT allow full games and not just apk's on it? If not, then what's the purpose of adoptable storage?
And if i want to upgrade the sdcard to a twice as big one, do i then have to format the phone? or can i copy the data on the sd through the phone's usb to my pc, enable adoptable on the new and move the stuff back and then format the old for a different device?
Settings > Apps > app/game you want moving > Storage > Change > External
That's not what i need. That way just moves the apk, not it's data which i need.
Strange. It moves both for me.
Have you tried manually moving the data folder yourself?
@Mr.Ash.Man (apparently i can't press "add a comment" as it just disappears with nothing else happening when i click it) I tried some years ago, but then just got the error that the data files are missing.
You can also go into the Developer Menu and turn on the setting to force apps to be able to move to SD. I've done this previously and found that about 80% of my apps were moved but a majority of the data files were still stored on the internal memory.
Yep, last time i tried, the app complained about missing data.
Basically, if the App supports moving the data to the SD card, then it will do so automatically when you move the apk to the SD card. But keep in mind not all apps support this, so it may be a problem with the apps you are trying to move.
Yeah, it's the majority of the data i need to move. The apk's themself barely take up anything.
@cmwade77 , Yeah, 90% of the games i tried to move only moved the apk, not it's data. So apparently root is my only option which i don't like as 1: warranty gone, 2: requires me to wipe the phone.
The poster question is yet not answered.
Is it possible to have the sd card formatted as an adoptable storage?
adb sm partition did not work as on note 4/s7.

Help needed! Galaxy Tab A SM-P580 - SD card as internal storage issue :(

Well, I'm not exactly sure how it happened, but my tablet (with TWRP, Magisk and its ExSDCard Access Enabler module) finally recognized the 400GB SD card I dropped in it and allowed me to format it as internal storage. Then the fun (not really) began. It showed the card as internal storage. Under SD card it says not inserted. OK... but the internal storage says it has 511GB of data out of 512GB. Again, it's a 400GB card. There is about 150GB or so on it... my books library and that's really it. So that's one issue.
Secondly, I understood that using it as internal storage would allow for apps to be installed on it. I understood that to be "automatic" but maybe I was wrong? As I am installing more apps I'm running into error messages telling me I do not have enough space and that I need to uninstall apps. So I fired up AppMgr III to see what's going on. I have 15 apps on the SD card, 4 apps that are shown as movable, and 65 apps that are being shown as "Phone Only". And the 4 apps that can be moved - will not move. I've tried but after 20 minutes I have just cancelled the process.
So, where did I go wrong? How do I get this SD card to truly act as internal storage - i.e., allows for apps to be installed to it? I have searched in here and on Google and am stumped. HELP PLEASE? Thank you!!
Did you ever figure this out?

Hi. No, I have not. The tablet is still telling me I don't have enough space to install anything. Yet when I go into Apps, the apps will show, for storage, xxMB / 361GB of internal storage used. So somehow it knows about the space, but something else is preventing me from using it as it should be used. HELP???
