development is good for android one but specs are low. if u can do without cm11 and latest android version, i suggest redmi. dont ask qstns in dev section

Can I port to Honor 3c?

Huawei Honor 3c has same chip i.e. Mediatek MT6582 and Mali 400MP4.
The difference is that it has 2 GB of RAM and resolution is 720 x 1280 pixels, 5.0 inches (~294 ppi pixel density).
So, my question is that can I implement this CM 11 into this device just like porting ROM, with apps of same resolution phone and same bin/lib?
P.S: I dont know to play with quotes, but can port ROMs, and a bit of theming/resizing!

go for android one device,because redmi 1s has many negative comments such as high ram usage, heating ,etc android one will get more custom rom support that redmi 1s

1. I'm aware of that.
2. Theme problem not with ROM
3. Out of my control. Problem in cm itself
4. Use different keyboard
5. Can't remove that, it's in cm source and I don't modify that.
6. No custom kernel compatibility until this gets fully functional.

Make backup of all camera apps you have (Instagram, WhatsApp, Retrica, Camera360, etc...) in front camera mode, because most of them crash if are in back camera mode.

Does anyone here know of a tool to determine why a phone doesn't go into deep sleep? The reason I'm asking this is that I installed this ROM and the phone doesn't go into deep sleep that much. I just want to eliminate any possible app as being the culprit for the problem.
Also when I try to use CPU-Z to look at the information about the phone, the phone reboots... every time. Can anyone help me identify WHY that happens?

To run deep sleep put these lines at the build.prop:
pm.sleep_mode=1
ro.ril.power_collapse=1
Don't forget to adjust then the build.prop permission before restarting.

EDIT: Nevermind! Turns out that using EXT4 for your external SD card isn't a smart move! Crisis averted. ROM works like a charm!
Now get that rearcam working and I'll sing your praises from Amsterdam to Zürich, @jackeagle!

There is nightly folder too in above links for some who have found it do remember that it is not XDA Release builds its just our test builds to test things out which means its unstable and only for testing purpose so if anyone flashes nightly and if you loose anything its all at you own risk bug reports are always welcome here

I know we've been waiting for a while for a stable, fully functional ROM for our S5 Mini, but spamming the board asking for an update gets people like me hopeful that there is an update from jackeagle and we then have to live with the disappointment that it is NOT.

Fixing Camera is not easy task and blame Samsung for it for their incomplete sources .. You wanna know status of fixing ask @kaiodduarte everyday day and night I m giving test builds to him in order of trying fixing Camera .. Its not a easy task has Samsung never released Sensor sources in their any kernel source So please do not ask same question again and again i know all need camera but there is no other way then waiting .. you are on user side hence your happy but when you see developer side work it is lot lot lot tough .. just wait and be happy that atleast there is some development for this device now when comparing past were all were making threads asking for any developer to develop cm ..

1) not normaly work dpi change in settings, need manually change dpi in build.prop
2) not works setting of button "menu", i fix it through xposed and gravitybox. I change setting for button "recent apps" 0_o, and menu button has work (fix keylayout?)
3) some setting items not translated into russian

On first sim slot I have only 3g, on second sim slot lte,

It's the only ROM where I have not-buggy 4G+ network data. Every CM based ROM have problems with LTE/LTE+ (Orensot).
But there's one bug... GravityBox and SIM settings don't work properly - their settings often reset to defaults after reboot. Other AOSP ROMs (like Slim) work good with them.
I've installed your ROM with all wipes after full reinstalling to Global Stable via Fastboot, so it was clean installation. But ROM interface have many small bugs.
So please keep up the development!

What is the difference between this and the TheDarkStrix?

Is goodix patch only for this rom? I flashed it on another rom (based on CM14 ThStrix) but still no FP setting

As ims being now open sourced and added being a part of Nougat ROMs, technically VoLTE can work now.
However, it was always your choice on weather to add it or not.

Please read properly. That zip is only for proper libraries used by the kernel.

It's AOSP based and not CM and based on Dev ROMs (rest ask to Dev)

When I read this comment, I couldn't help but burst out laughing. You are saying ims is open source. Lets talk about that first, its not. What you are talking about is the framework. We still use proprietary blobs from the vendor so that means it will never be open source. The ims.apk you are talking about is an app, which is closed source. Unless xiaomi takes the effort to post the entire source of their ims.apk. Manufacturers don't do that. Even Google doesn't. If you are talking about Santhosh ROM being able to use voLTE, good luck with that since many devs already messaged him and he said no to opening up his nougat source.

Excellent ROM. Just one thing if it can be taken care in next update " On first boot, stock camera app worked like charm but on rebooting phone, it keeps getting FC. I have to install Custom Camera App from Play store.
Once again, its smooth like butter ROM.;

A: Yes it's a real AOSP based on Code Aurora Forum (CAF) source
2- Q: How to get best battery backup with UD Kernel?
A: to get best battery backup install Kernel Auditor app from play store and choose interactive_pro governor and enable ARCH_POWER
3- Q:What about the data switching bug?

Question, how did you apply the recent security patches. There is another AOSP-caf rom in the forum with Dec 2016 security update, and I ask if it could be updated and Dev replied its Caf meaning its something that is outdated or old. Anyway thanks!

The zip puts a file in init.d that will execute a bash command at every boot, "echo 0 > /sys/class/leds/charging/max_brightness"

Some F.A.Q on WeebProjekt (WIP) :
1. Is the ROM Bugless ?
=> No rom is bugless . But we are trying our best to fix all the issues we are being reported on.
2. Volte works ?
=> According to users, its working . I don't have volte in my country. Test it yourself and Report Us.
3. Feature Request?
=> There is no option of feature request as of now . Nor we are planning to add plenty of features like other ROMs. We can just use other ROM if we had to use feature .
The only thing i want to focus on is stable and faster update.
4. Does it pass safety net?
=> There are multiple workaround to fix it . ( Rooting is mandatory for now to achieve it . )
5. Is it possible to build for other device?
=> Currently nope. Since it has only stuffs to build only for lavender .
6. How long will it be supported?
=> Maybe as long as i have the device ?
7. Mobile Data Not working ! How to Fix?
=> Go to Settings and select your desired APN .
8. I am feeling lag ?
=> Try switching to different kernel
9. Is it good for PUBG?
=> NEITHER ME OR XIAOMI IS THE OWNER OF PUBG. SO , IF YOU HAVE LAG ON PUBG ITS ENTIRELY YOUR FAULT FOR PLAYING PUBG ON A MID RANGE DEVICE . SPEND MORE MONEY AND BUY A FLAGSHIP FFS!!!.
YOU CANT EXPECT FLAGSHIP LEVEL PERFORMANCE ON THIS DEVICE.
10. Is the ROM L1 Certified?
=> First of all L1 should not work on Unlocked devices. YEET we are so lucky we have it working on our device and sadly most people here talk nonsense if its not working .
So , it will work depending on many things and may not work depending on many things . If you have flashed persist on your device it will not work.
Global RN7 - Works ( if you didnt flash persist )
Indian RN7 - works ( '"")
Chinese RN7 - doesnt work at all .
Still , cant assure L1 will work for all apps .

Thanks for giving your precious time for our device. I seriously regard you for that. As far as this fix is concerned. Higher frequencies issue is not completely resolved if used with Magisk. High Cpu load is still there. Btw gone down a bit in comparison with previous build.

I dirty flashed from evolution rom, cause lazy, and I'm surprised how well it works, no bugs so far

Does the IR blaster work with this rom?

There is currently an issue with magisk causing high frequencies to be always used by the cpu, this is fixed by removing magisk; the frequency is lowered down to 1.1 GHz but lmc is finding a solution to lower it down up to 600 MHz (which is supposedly the lowest freq to be used). Maybe on next update we hopefully can see this fixed.
