This is the Unnoficial MIUI v5 for Peregrine (Moto G LTE)
It's based on Tqr build and some parts from Official CM11Disclaimer:
As always, if you mess your phone and start the third world war, it's your own problem. The ROM works for me, so use at your own risk. You've been warned.
Status:
What is fine:
Almost everything i've tested (Calls, Bluetooth, Google Sync, etc.). Except, of course, what listed in bugs.
Bugs:
Wifi Hotspot (as the Falcon have the same problem)
4G doesn't work out-of-the-box. However, you can force the phone to use 4G with *#*#4636#*#* -> phone information -> set preferred network type -> LTE/GSM auto (PRL).
Probably the same kernel problems from Peregrine's CM11.
Some texts are messed up (MTP for example)
It seems sdcard isn't working (yet)
Instructions:
Full Wipe
Install ROM
Install PA-GAPPS. The Nano package is enough, but you can install a package of your choice.
Reboot
Enjoy
Downloads:
PA-Gapps
MIUIv5 0.1
Thanks:
Somcom3X: For the Official CM11 port
Tqr: For the MIUI port
Any help is appreciated.

Cool. Another ROM variant for the peregrine!
Awesome! I'll test it as soon as possible. If you OP, wants me to test something else, just PM me.

Yeah I was testing when I realize that, and I don't see anything wrong on logcat :/
Man, if it had functional SD Card support then I'd definitely give this a whirl! Hopefully it gets solved soon. awesome to see the 4G variant receive another major ROM variant added to the range of aosp based ROMs though, good luck for future releases! (here's hoping miui 6at some point!)
Sent from my XT1039 using Forum Fiend v1.2.11.
I've tested the rom and the only problem that I found was the sd card. I tried fix it, but no success. Anyway, the rom is very snappy and pretty. Thanks for build this rom!
Crashes when setting a ringtone but other than that its pretty good. Just sayin
beautiful!
Really tempting, but I'll wait a little, because I really need my SD Card. And I don't want to unlock my Bootloader when I am afraid I could regret it... @FelixMG could you give a full review after like a week or so?

I can't because I'm not using MIUI anymore, I've only tested, because I really need SD card working.
I'm working on a new build, I don't know yet but maybe it will fix the sdcard this time.
Update: Yeah I still don't know what is wrong, I think I'll give another try in the weekend. Trying a lot of different changes. I figured out what was crashing the interface, but the sdcard still doesn't work without giving me any clue.
I have missed MIUI, havent tried it since gingerbread. When you get this working I may give up on my projects and just follow yours...but I have a hard time letting go of AOKP.

i'm testing based on other device, I didn't see any future porting from falcon, to be honest.
Need to update my profile as have 4g now not 3g
This may help with the sdcard creation:

Thanks! Will try it on the next few hours
Oooh I'm mentioned :3
Thanks and thanks for the ROM it's great. Especially the battery life turned out better than ever before in comparison to stock (most experience from other devices).
No Bug in RAM management for me, beautiful work.

Rom is working great. Thanks.
I have to say ever since I have flashed it, the rom has yet to let me down. Great rom and I'm happy to see others have the same opinion.
Glad to see everything is working well for everyone.
New build available. Switched up the toolchains, different source for the toolchains handling the kernel, still Linaro. Switched over to SaberMod toolchains on the ROM itself. Seems to have cut down initial boot time.
Enjoy
The ROM is perfect!!!! Thanks
Like it so far, except it won't read my external SD card. It was read fine on stock and has no problem being read by my PC. Gallery also won't open and says no external storage when I try to open.

Where you trying to change the wallpaper on the stock launcher?
I had a similar issue, I use Nova Launcher and it is not an issue. Issue must lie in the stock launcher somewhere I shall look into. Thank you for reminding me of this.

Also, is it normal to only have like anywhere from 150-50mb of free ram? Never seen the ram usage before but when I'm in recents its usually between that.

Are you using ART or Dalvik?
Dalvik with nothing running its right around 250MB free
ART with nothing running its about 325MB free
This is one of the freatures I like about AOKP is that RAM bar is enabled by default.
As far as your SDcard issue, I can't recreate any issue with mine. I can read and write to it just fine. It sounds like it might be a format issue. Is there anyone else with SDcard issues?

Wait so we can run ART?... That's great!! I didn't even know!
For me, the notification tile for battery does not show any info...
I know that's complaining on a ridiculous high level but I guess it's the only bug for me (except the lines on boot animation).

Thanks for the great ROM... Only problem is that my SD card doenst work properly. When I restart, it says: SD card unexpectedly removed... But when I take it out and put it in again, it works fine. Had the same problem on stock 4.4.4 . Stock 4.4.3 worked just fine... Does anyone have a clue?
Btw my sdcard is a medion 32gb class 10

Weird. Such a nice rom and no reaction from community... I'd like to ask, are there any benefits sourced from the fact it is official and you are a part of team? Nice to see you being someone keeping L90 development at high pace
The advantage of being official is that i don't have to waste time compiling it on my old laptop because it's done by build server

Yes it is using the same CM12.1 camera. I saw several users reporting camera issues in NostromoPop thread. For me the camera preview sometimes freezes for a second when moving the phone too fast. Taking pictures and making videos is fine for me. Please report your exact issue including a logcat if possible.
Have you tried the M9 camera port suggested in NostromoPop thread? Any better experience?
I flash it again and now most things works. Only the sidebar doesent work. But I dont need it.

The M9 camera is the has the same experience. Is there a chance to use the sense camera libs in an AOSP based ROM? AFAIK it is done in a GPE rom.

Yes I've tried M9 Camera port also. But my biggest mistake was flashing full gapps instead of pico, the camera always got replaced by google camera, probably that's why it didn't work as expected. However I went back to my original stock rom 4.4.4 rooted because yesterday my phone just went pitch black after taking a picture. Sorry I can't give you any log files as I've erased everything with going back to my stock rom.

Honestly - I don't know... Definetely worth a try... Could use some help as I am still newb in Android development. I need a few directions on files to replace, etc. Can you provide details about the GPE ROM you mentioned? Maybe i can figure out what they did to get it running smooth. A link to their source code would be awesome!

The HTC One Mini has GPE roms for KK and LP, although the LP version doesn't have a working radio. Both of them were developed by bilal_liberty(The Liberty Kernel developer). Here's the Kitkat version and this is the Lollipop version
If I open some apps, still the fone restarts randomly. Nostromopop is the better Rom for me at the Moment. But in a few Updates, how know? Thank you for your work and please go on.

So many ROMs about but can anyone recommend one that definitely has Dual SIM, encryption and SD card working (ideally with SD encryption as well as internal but I don't know if any do that yet).
Should I just use this stock ROM, which I presume has all those features working? http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/general/official-stock-firmware-5-0-2-lxb22-46-t3019612
don't go for stock that's really buggy 5.0.2, go for cm12.1 if you really want any stable one, though I love cm11 kitkat based so hopefully cm12.1 is stable as well with respect to 5.1
Ah, thanks for the warning. Anyone else know if cm12.1 is stable and has all the features that I listed working?

Minimal os is based on cm: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/development/rom-minimal-os-t3174134 .Very smooth and stable, dual SIM out of the box. SD card should work on all roms. I can´t say anything about encyption as I don´t use it and therefore don´t know if any rom support it.

Thanks for the suggestion, it sounds promising but without knowing for sure that encryption is working, I'm reluctant to try it as it's tedious making sure one's backed up everything, made a Nandroid, etc, then flash a ROM, go through the initial setup, wait until the phone's fully charged (it won't let you start the encryption process otherwise), only to try to encrypt and find it doesn't work and you have to flash your old Nandroid back and try and find another ROM that works!
I've asked in the thread for it now though, so hopefully someone can confirm that it works.

Maybe ask the developer(s) before flashing a custom rom if encryption is supported.

Woops, cross-posted but I've done so now. I wanted to avoid spamming lots of ROM threads with that question, so thought it better to start my own thread instead but now that you've identified a potential candidate that is good in all other respects, it's a good idea to ask in their thread.
Yes, I´ve seen it.
You can send a PM to the dev too. But I don´t think it´s kind of spamming, other people would like to know it too.
Good luck!

No, pretty sure you'll have to flash gapps. I have it installed with pico open gapps and it is snappy and smooth so far. There's a few features I miss, but I'm sure they'll add them soon.
Thanks going to take a look!
Runs fluid, very smooth! Simple looking, great functionality. Good job i'd say.
Seems to be quiet stable, too. No complains actually. Will see how it performs as daily driver

Working awesome for me good work thanks
Awesome ROM, very smooth. Works great on Sprint
Smooth and stable experience. Lost only ~2% over night with wireless being on.

Very good for an Alpha.
No root. One problem for me is when i scrool thruu a menu the name of the apps (folders) flickers HARD.
Wifi, phone works, wich is Good. On phone, with 2g i've got full signal. I say this because in Bliss, XenonHD & some other roms i got very low signal..
Thanks.

In developer Settings you can enable root. Nothing should Flicker
it works. Not really much settings/mods but it´s stable and fast. Läuft!
Release 3
What did you expect for an alpha ? First we were in need for a fast and stable base build !

It's on Android 6.0.1. I don't know if it's compatible with m8dug but it works with CDMA devices so maybe. You could try it out. Make sure you make a nandroid first
