I dont think it's doable. You need to add the drivers to the kernel, and then find a program that can handle it.
Is your front facing cam not working? I didn't understand why do you want use an external cam. And which cable you think to use with the phone?
front camera works well,i wont external camera for some other things to do.I would like to connect usb webcam using this cable

What does no success mean? Did you get an error/can you get me logcat & dmesg?

If you can get me logs then I can actually see what I need to add to my kernel in order to get this to work.

what your looking for is the MHL Cable
the IS dose not have the hard ware to output hdmi over usb like the Sensation.
(there is an extra chip inside and extra wires)
You can stream music and video up to 720p onto your hdtv via htc dlna adaptor.
Seems to be a drag, I wouldnt pay almost a 100$for it...

I second this request. I'd love to play some games on my TV especially something like Dead Space and its wonderful graphics.
Actually DLNA acts only as a media file server. DLNA technology is not capable of putting your display to another display device. There is nothing else you can do about it. Sorry to break the news

Great Idea!
Might be a great idea, but, not so for the incs.
I've made an app that turns on dolby mobile for any app, not just HTC music. It works on any ROM that gives you the option of dolby mobile when you type in snd3254 in a terminal. It requires root.
I'm also working on an update.zip for other phones to use it

ill try it for tmoible sgs 2 if possible
Is it available for HTC sensation (android revolution 3.6.5)? If yes then I can assist with testing.
I have a HTC EVO 3D infected with Virus Eternity, would love to test for this phone.
Right guys, I'm home from school

Just made this, this morning. It needs rewiring, I used a otg cable I ordered that was defective/non working for whatever reason.
Anyone have a diagram of how it needs to be wired to get it working?
Found this, but it's beyond me.. anyone know how, but in simple terms? Haha
Oh and the adapter i made is 1.5 inches long (after plugged in with usb cruzer fit and in the n7) Would of tried to make it smaller, but had nothing smaller to use as a housing for it. It's small enough though

I'm new to all this but why can't someone make something very tiny like above that plugs directly into the micro USB port?
I mean I know it can't be that small since a micro SD card can't fit into a micro USB port but idk just not crazy about a cord even tho I bought one with a 90 degree turn which I am waiting on and will probably be paired with this usb card reader.
Just curious...

But it's a bit buggy. When receiving a call you can't see who is calling until you unlock first. I prefer it either way.

Unfortunately, due to the screen size of this phone, you can't. Look at the HTC Wildfire S running a CyanogenMod rom. The bit is cut off, but I can live with it. Going to back up in CWM incase anything goes wrong
Look at this video http://youtu.be/_mMBOmBFBe0?t=42s
Oh, i see. Thanks anyway, im going back to the htc ring
