Will Best Buy price match carrier retail pricing for replacement phones?
Answer: No.
I have talked with my local BB and via email to the BB web site. They say you must activate a 2 year agreement to get BB's $200 offer.

I spoke with 2 BB reps and the Samsung rep at my store and they all told me off contract (hardware only) or contract didn't matter. Who knows...guess we'll all fine out soon.

Best buy hates selling phones without contracts so it would not suprise me if this is the road they take. Although I'm sure if you create a ****fest they may bend to move you along.

[Q] HTC HD7 for 139 dollar?

I´m confused about amazon wireless and his Htc HD7 for 193.99 dollars.
http://wireless.amazon.com/HTC-HD7-Windows-Phone-T-Mobile/dp/B0046RERVQ/ref=sh_br_ph_2
I dont understand, because its so cheap.
Can someone explain me the Reason for this cheap price?
I´m german and if i can buy this phone for 139 dollars, i will do it or is there a problem?
Do I have to make a contract with t-mobile(its on the site) to get the phone so cheap? The site says me that they selled the phone for 549 dollar and it costs only 139 dollar. Because of that I think the phone is unlocked and I can use the phone with any sim card.
Pls help!
If you are an existing TMO USA customer they will sell it to you for $149, new TMO US customers will pay 139, if you click just phone only (no service) you are given the full price.
Yeah, I also found this pretty confusing as a non-American.
This is just a price for the phone if you renew / add a new contract to your T-Mobile account.
In the States the phone prices are independent to the contract you have whereas in South Africa (my country) the amount you pay (if any) for a phone depends on the amount you spend per month fon your contract (from $8 - $150 p/m).
thanks for help now i understand.

[Q] Is $125 a good price off contract AT&T?

Looking for a phone for my son. I have 4 lines. None are up for upgrade until July 2014 at the earliest. AT&T corporate store selling the HTC First for .99 cents with 2 year contract. Add in about $37 dollars in sales tax plus $36 dollar activation equals about $74 with two year contract. Other option is AT&T premier offered a brand new phone at the insurance deductible price of $125, no sales tax, no activation fee and NO CONTRACT. I'm debating which offer is more appealing. Please help me decide pro's and con's of both. I have until tomorrow to decide. Thank you to the community in advance.

On the Sprint Website it says pre-orders will start on the 26th. 1 month long pre-order. I figured Samsung would push this one out faster to compete with the Iphone. I know several people who are considering the iphone 6 as well as the Note 4. But if the iphone 6 becomes readily available before the Note 4 then they might just make their decision.
Personally im coming from a Note 2 so im ready for the upgrade anytime.
Pre ordered mine last night
Also ATT has it available on the edge program.
$0 down ($61 in taxes upfront) and $34 a month for 18 months.
That's the deal I took it with.
I'm trying to decide if I want to take the payment plan on Verizon or just pay for it outright. I guess it depends on the advantages. One way or another you're paying full price.
I am on ATT now, but I think $825 is a rip-off, that too with a locked bootloader. Considering the Verizon version is only $699, can I buy that one and use it on ATT network ?
Why is T-mobile version cheaper among all of others?

Verizon is the cheapest. ATT has theirs overpriced as their usual bait and switch tactics because they are offering $100 for a new line of service. This way they don't lose money.
i used a coupon code: 50OFF1920614 for $50 off on Verizon. I don't know if it will work for anyone else, but it's worth a try. Covered my upgrade fee and taxes

This is confusing I have Verizon and I pre ordered last week I have a date of Oct 23 the Verizon rep placing the order said I am in the first batch to go out but isn't the phone released the 17th or is Verizon version later than the official release date? What's even everyone else's release date if you have Verizon?

Verizon is always the last to go out, and last to upgrade software. They like to be last on purpose I believe.
Now that being said it is a ship BY date meaning you have a chance of getting it sooner. They normally try to have it in your hands the same day they release in the store. But the official date for preorders stated as the 23rd and still is currently unless we get lucky.

[Q] Contract pricing across all carriers

The way I understood it (which admittedly must be wrong), Google sets the contract pricing across the board. So far I've seen contract prices all over the place. I'm waiting in particular on Verizon, but I'm curious if anyone who's pre-ordered or actually purchased a phone on contract can comment with their 2-year contract price. I was expecting to pay the usual $200 contract price but now that doesn't seem likely. Here's what I've seen at the time of this post:
Sprint - 32 GB Midnight Blue = $299.99 on 2-yr contract
AT&T - ?? GB = $249.99 on 2-yr contract
T-Mobile - Coming soon
Verizon - No info
So the only two that show contract pricing so far are nowhere near the $200 everyone seems to think. With competing phones like the Note Edge being $429.99 on a Sprint contract and $399.99 on an AT&T contract, something makes me think the Nexus 6 will be pricey on Verizon too. Is there not some kind of control Google exerts over the pricing?
Att had the 32gb model
Carriers set whatever price they want ....not google ...the carriers buy the phones from Google and subsidize them to customers ....it's up to carriers that is why nexus is 50 bucks more from Sprint full retail because they have to make money on it

Cheaper to buy from o2

Went into O2 today. They have confirmed you can take out a contract on the OP3T and next day cancel the airtime contract and pay off the device in full
For example if wishing to keep the phone, the 128GB will cost you £425.99 upfront after cancelling the airtime contract in the cooling off period.
They confirmed that they would honour warranty direct with O2 for 2 years.
£15 cheaper than direct from OnePlus and an extra years warranty
