Hello, I want to edit the SystemUI.apk from GamersROM v6.3 (Odexed rom) and so far I managed to decompile the apk with apktool, edit it and rebuild it
I haven't touched the odex file
If I just replace the apk I lose my topbar entirely.
What can I do now, can anyone help me?

is there any why to change the contacts and the phone theme ?
i see there is a file caled contacts.apk and a file called phone.apk.
my problem is that i have it themed in black on my i9100 s2 phone and i can't chaned the backround to white
can i copy those files to galaxy S2 I9000 from i9000 with white themed files ?

Download the latest gaapps from rootwiki remove all app from the zip file except phone and contact and flash it through recovery and you are done.

i'm gonna take the contacts.apk , phone.apk and mms.apk from the white themed rom system/app folder and zip them in a regular flash zip file.
my question is - do i need to mess with the framework.jar ?
also theres a contatsprovider.apk file and telephonyprovider.apk file - do i need them too ?

No, you can flash those but take backup so in case anything goes wrong you can revert back.

I want to install these new great custom themes from the Themes and Apps Section of this Forum but the Softkeys doesnt change.
Can anyone explane me how i have to do that?
I only need the patched services.jar File and move it to system/framework and set the permissions to rw-r-r right?
