Hi Guys,
I cannot seem to wipe the cache of my HTC One (m7).
Here are the specs of my firmware and OS:
M7_UL PVT SHIP S-OFF
CID-11111111
HBOOT-1.54.0000
RADIO-4T.29.3218.08
OpenDSP-v32.120.274.0909
OS-6.09.401.5
eMMC-boot 2048MB
Nov 21 2013,20:19:24.0
ROM: CM11 M10
Recovery: ClockworkMod Recovery v6.0.4.8
Phone has an unlocked bootloader and is rooted, SU, terminal emulator and Busybox installed, developers mode of the rom is unlocked.
In CWM recovery I am able to mount and unmount the cache, but every time i try to wipe the cache, the phone gets stuck at "formatting cache..." I can wait for hours with nothing happening.
The recovery also gets stuck when doíng a 'wipe data/factory reset' since this also involves wiping cache.
I've had TWRP recovery before.
On TWRP the phone couldn't even mount the cache partition.
I would really like to wipe my cache partition because I got some huge drain in the phones batterylife. Many people on the web say this drain will be solved bij wiping the cache.
Any help would be nice. Thanks

Are you using the correct version of CWM? It should be 6.04.3 for your phone.
Code:
HTC One (non-US GSM) Download ROMs 6.0.4.3 6.0.4.3
Thanks majmoz,
Flashing recovery to CWM 6.0.4.3 worked. You are my hero of the day!

Do an erase cache in fastboot:
Code:
fastboot erase cache
Now, re-try to boot into recovery

Please help me.
I've done something really stupid. I flashed from ClockWorkMod to Android Revolution HD on my HTC One m7.
I've got ClockWorkMod Recovery installed and when flashing was done i got stuck in HTC startup screen.
Trying to get in to recovery mode again and install my backup did not work, it just shows ClockWorkMod Recovery logo and reboots. When in bootloader mode, i can't access the phone through adb or fastboot, no devices in list.
Is there any way to use ADB/fastboot when in the bootloader screen?
Info from bootloader screen:

OS-4.19.401.8
eMMC-boot 2048MB
reboot your computer and tyr again.

CMW does not work with ARHD. You need TWRP 2.6.3.3
http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7
fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7.img
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Enter recovery and flash ARHD again
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
After fastboot flash recovery ...
fastboot erase cache

Thanks bored_stupid! This solved the installation problem.
The other problems were solved like this:
The first problem was that fastboot didn't connect to my PC.
This was solved by changing computer to one with a USB 2.0.
Now the problem I had with my recovery was solved by flashing the recovery partition again and clean the cache (forget that the first time).
fastboot flash recovery clockworkrec.img
fastboot erase cache
After this I was able to get in recovery mode.
Hi,
I was not finding anything that helped me the last 6 hrs - maybe because I don't know what exactly happened.
I wanted to revert from CM11 to AHRD. I've installed everything through Aroma Installer but had it bootlooping. As I thought it might be a CWM issue I flashed TWRP recovery.
Since that - no matter which I use (TWRP or CWM) - I can see recovery screen but for 1 second and then see the HTC splash screen again.
Any clue?

Hello.
I got this - htc incredible s
VIVO PVT SHIP S_ON RL
Hboot -2.02.0002
Radio-3831.18.00.11_M
eMMC-boot
Can boot into bootloader, have recovery CWM 6.0.2.7
I stuck in HTC booting screen. Tried to wipe cache and stuff and restore from backup - same problem.
Actually the problem begun when i tried to get s-off and wanted after that to restore from backup, and it did this to my phone.
Any suggestions? Any help would be highly appreciated.
Actually solved this issue, now it's ok.
Don't know what was wrong. I did full wipe with dalvik and cache and partitions. Then installed the required rom, then booted to bootloader and to fastboot, then extracted boot.img from the .zip rom i flashed before, and flashed it to boot via adb shell.

Did you fastboot erase cache after flashing the recovery?
Code:
fastboot flash recovery name-of-recovery.img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Also I don't recommend 2.7.1.1 since it has the No OS Bug that wipes OS Version from the misc partition. However it may be to late. You can check on the bootloader screen do you have OS Version Blank? Its only a cosmetic bug so don't worry if you have it won't damage your device
Go for 2.8.3.0 i think is the new one haven't seen any major problems reported for that so far
thanks for reply me
i do all this cmd win i reboot to recovery just give me only google log .. this is my bootloader info:
