I plan ok keeping a controller in my car our in my locker at work to play emulators easily at lunch as my phone has no keypad, which makes gaming hard. I've been lookimg at the wii classic controller pro, but it has to be wired into the wii controller. Do they make any controllers with many buttons that will pair right into the wii wirelessly?
Where are my best options to begin shopping for the best prices?
Stupid question but has anyone tried a a PS2 controller with an OTG cable?
Also, if I do have to buy a PS3 controller, do I need to buy a seperate cable to plug it into the OTG adaptor?

Hey there,
I'm not sure if the ps2 controller will work as all I have in house is deh ps3. I don't see any reason why not tho. Can anyone confirm?
In regards to the cable' as long as you have the micro USB otg adapter, then you can attach a regular USB cable with the mini USB(more rectangular shape looking, or like the one that charges the PS2 remote)) to the otg adapter....

In order for a controller to work in games on Anrdoid, the controller should be naively supported from the OS?
Also, the Sixaxis app, is this only required for PS3 controllers over bluetooth? What if I get a wired controller that is said to be supported for the PS3; would this require support via Sixaxis, or Android?

The first one is a wired PS3 controller. The other two rely on a wireless signal over a USB adapter. Would any of these happen to work naively on Android? I'm not entirely sure how the first controller interacts with the PS3 exactly over USB, but perhaps when plugged into a computer, it would be detected as a normal controller, and work fine? The other two may have less of a chance at working, but idk...
Edit: A PS2 controller through a cheap PSX-to-USB hub from Radioshack back in 2002 seems to work fine mostly, except the right analog stick is mapped wrongly in Dead Trigger (left and right go up and down, up and down goes left and right).

Hey guys, just wanted to ask, my ps3 controller connects via otg, the lights power on, however I cannot play any games with it. I'm not rootedyetbso I can't use wireless connection.

As I wrote in the title, I want to know if I can use a Sixaxis PS3 controller with a USB OTG cable because unfortunately HTC One doesn't support sixaxis bluetooth app.

Some custom roms have added support for a ps3 pad using usb-otg. However I do not believe that it works out of the box.
Have you looked into bluetooth controllers? I picked up an ipega controller for £15 off ebay and it works great with emulators and a great app called game keyboard!

My brother can use an xbox controller on my ps4 with his iPhone.
He connects his iPhone to the PS4 via bluetooth and then connects his iPhone to the xbox controller.
I've tried doing this using my galaxy s10 but it doesn't work.
Is there a way to use an xbox controller with an Android device?

Hello i am searching a gamepad who can be wired to the xz1c and recognized, because of the no otg, i can't wire my dualshock 4 instead of using bluetooth to play..
I saw some gamesir /panda gamepad etc who are like joy cons from the nintendo switch, can be compatible with xz1c since there is no otg please?
I can comfirm that the 8BitDo N30 Pro v2 does NOT work with the xz1c wired, the phone will always try to charge the controller and the controller will want to pair via Bluetooth. Don't buy this if you want wired connection.
