I recently purchased a galaxy note. The rom on the device read as N7000 but when i use android assistant app, its shv-e160k.
i noticed that the e160k has a physical antena but mine does not have any...it looks just like the n7000...when i boot to download mode, it says shv-e160k...and its in korean.....please check screenshots for reference....i need to know exactly what it is so i get the right firmware for it...thanks

The phone has a Qualcomm cpu. So the N7000 roms will not work on it.

I was just curious as to how long the root may take for the v20c thrill? I apologize for asking, as I'm sure it is being worked on, just curious if anybody has found any leads yet...
I was testing V20C against V21A, and they run the same. However, V21A doesn't have any bloatware.

Thanks for the reply, where can I get V21A?
If you go go the Optimus 3D development section, you'll find it there.

Ehh yeah I figured lol, I don't know if you're the right guy to ask, but when I try to flash the V21A, I follow the steps outlined, and when the LGMobile Support Tool opens up, it says "Your cell phone is the latest version already, so you do not need to upate." Any ideas?

What about the basebands? I notice the 20c has a more consistant and stronger connection than when I had the 21a installed?

I see the guide, yet when it says to click Normal web upgrade test ---> Upgrade Start, it completely skips over the Select a region, and clear registry part.

i wouldn't try that. it is still in very early developement and if the guy doesn't even know how to find out the model of his tab i would definately not advise flashing a very early developement rom that can be unstable and or maybe not work at all. it even says "For Devs Only"...
just my two cents.

Yes, it definitely can't work, at least for most devices. Like once, I accidentally flashed the wrong firmware for my friend's Galaxy Ace, and it couldn't boot up, just showing a white screen.

I tried to flash it back to stock but after the auto restart from odin it starts flashing again.

is the phone stuck in bootloop, or is the screen stuffed up, which could mean problems the cable connecting the screen to device inside the phone, or the screen itself
I think it's not stuck in Bootloop.
I did a Youtube Video to show, what happen if i turn on the Phone.

Thanks for the help, hopefully not damaging the cell with the CM10, I already installed the Cm9 on a phone before, but always the fear. I'll have to wait for my phone and get to know which model it (perhaps the L).

I'm a little lost here, I can install in any model Cm10.1 S3 mini, but I saw a tutorial on the internet that seeks to root before installing CM10.1, why?
I can not create an account on SamMobile, can you pass me the stock of another link?

No, you don't have to root before installing CM10.1, it comes pre-rooted
