[Xposed installer] Favorites Manager - Xposed General

Can you add an option to create and manage favorites from 'downloads'
Exermple: be able to put a star on a module and then sort by favorites.
This can be usefull: if a module is in alpha or beta and maybe i will download this when it will be fully released i put a star. or if a module can be interesting but not curently i put a star on it.

[Q] [APP] PDF Beta App

Finally, after several requests from android developers, there is an app that will let you fill out forms and view PDFs in ICC Colors. This is the first app that will let you fill out forms that companies or people made using Acrobat. This was what I was missing on my xoom and why I had to get an Ipad for business.
This App is in its 2nd stage beta release and is not out for public. Below I have copied the changelog and the link to the apk, which has to be installed manually.
P.S More changes and updates are still coming and this IS a beta release.
New features in this release:
· Text markup tools – Highlight, underline and cross out
· Fill and save PDF forms
· PDF file association – qPDF Notes should now work with your file
manager
· Free text annotation tool to add text boxes
· Support for documents that use ICC colors spaces
· Added stability and better performance
To download and install, you will first need to enable the installation of "non-Market" applications by going to Settings -> Applications and then choosing the Unknown Sources entry. After you've changed this setting, you can download qPDF Notes from:
http://www.qoppa.com/android/demo/qpdfnotes.apk
Nice start. There are a couple good apps out there. Repligo is one but has some limitations. Iannotate for ipad is the best IMOP. A couple of oberservations. The folder view icons and navigation is too small. You should leverage the screen size on the zoom. Take a look at the File Station on the market place. They have done a good job leveraging the screen. Also I annotate has done a outstanding job with this and even integrated their solution to Cloud storage solutions like Drop box. Another area to look at is loading the PDF and taking the full screen based on the orientation of the device. Dont force the user to zoom in. It should be aware of landscape and portrait. Also see if you can support scanned images for annotation. Repligo cant do this but Iannotate can.
Lastly, still buggy crashed twice on a small pdf. Had to uninstall it.
Nice start.
Thanks for posting this. I'll test it and give you some comments.

Ye, that's why its not out for public yet. Please post the problems you are experiencing and the device you are experiencing this on so it can be fixed. Thank you.
Another thing, I haven't found a pdf application that can fill out forms yet. I maybe wrong but if there is please post. Oh and out has to support icc colors. Thanks

Force closed while saving, the concept however is outstanding. The fact I can add text to a pdf rather than just a note would make it preferred over repligo for me. Since I couldn't save are saved documents still pdf's viewable in a normal pdf viewer with my notes pritablr/ viewable? If so once stable I would buy/use this app constantly at work.
Thanks

Great job! I hope you can get this done asap! I need this app already
Would you happen to have a eta?

[ATTENTION ALL THEMERS] Project Theme Manager is a Go!

Ok, its that time now!
Attention Android Themers! Project Theme Manager is a Go!
We are opening our newest project to the public in Beta form. Now is your chance if you want to be a part of this exciting new project!
The public website is at http://n3xgenapps.com and registration is free and open.
To Android Themers:
We need your assistance in getting this project off the ground. Without your themes in the public listing, this project is completely useless. For that reason, we are not releasing the Android App just yet. I'm sure you know the public would tear it apart in the market with bad reviews for lack of theme choice and 1 stars, etc.
Feel free to join us on Freenode IRC (#N3xGenApps) at any time for more information or to give some feedback, or even just to chat.
To the rest of the public:
The android app is in the market and FREE to everyone! Go grab your copy and get your theme on! https://market.android.com/details?id=com.n3xgenapps.theme.manager
Thanks, and as always, enjoy!
N3xGen Theme Manager has just been updated!
We've added the ability for developers to include their themes in multiple types and categories now, which means its now even easier to find the themes you're looking for.
New App Features
★ New icon and theme! - Thanks Kovdev!
★ You can now view an image in full screen.
★ Bug fixed (Hopefully, let me know if otherwise via email).
★ Added an all apps tab inside each theme section.
New Site Features
★ Added a donate button.
★ Developers can now have multiple categories per theme.
★ A new advanced edit screen to edit your existing themes.
More changes are in the near future as well.

Nice app - telling all my friends to add their themes in
Presumably once non-market themes can be uploaded MIUI themes could be added too.

Right now it only downloads themes from the market like ADW, LP, GOLauncher, and ThemeChooser. But we are working on adding in developer uploads (and/or outside linking to files), which will allow for rooted theming to take place (update.zip and metamorph, etc).
very nice, very fast. More theme and this is the best app for themes XD i love it
http://n3xgenapps.com/blog/Compatibility-fixes-with-Theme-Manager-app-now-in-market!
We've fixed some compatibility issues and now support down to 2.1 Eclair API (update is in the market). This should make the app more widely available among devices.
We also have an apk for 1.6 Donut API, but we're still testing it at the moment. Expect to see this pushed to market later tonight or early tomorrow.
Question regarding the themes - let's say I'm a themer from a google-checkout-unsupported-country (thank you, google...) and I have a LP theme I've put on sale through paypal, for a buck - and I'd like to expand the audience.
Shortly - does this hypothetical (ekhm, http://blazingdroid.blogspot.com/2011/08/dark-metro-solid-black.html ) theme has to be already available in the android market as a paid app if I'd like to submit it to you (which means you don't handle the accounting), or somehow you've just discovered a savior-solution for a lot of people who are in a situation like mine?
Because, you know, that would be simply awesome. Paypal mobile payments library perhaps? Simple concept - theme preview in Theme Manager, user taps buy button > webView opens within the app (users don't like the browser popping up), user inputs his paypal credentials (or the browser, if it already had them rembered)> user taps buy button > theme apk automatically downloads to a folder on sd card, Theme Manager applies it. Done. Snappy.
EDIT
feature request - fullscreen preview screenshots. The existing ones, well, they're available, but my guess is users want bigger ones. More details.

I wish there was a way to do that, but unfortunately we are requiring all paid themes submitted to our app to be directed through the official android market (for legal reasons).

EDIT: Actually, this is already been updated and is in the market.
Yup, just been reading your site, the update notice.
Screenshots yeah
Fast responsive developer - tick.
Great idea for an app - tick.
Neat, jazzy execution - tick.
Ease of use - tick.
Large theme database - pending.
You know where it goes? To a sccessfull business model.
Lots of normal, xda-unaware users would gladly see a tool for better theme management. This is it. With time, it will get more publicity. Become more popular. Spread as the preferred way, easy, hassle-free way to apply themes - at least for the standard users.
Cause installing a custom rom and theming it top to bottom requires root, and root requires lose of warranty, and 95% of people like their warranties more.. Plain simple.
____
Edit: Just added my theme.
Feature request - clickable hyperlinks in the theme description. They're kinda vital for the ease user experience You know, quick setup guide [here], some hints [there], a resource pack of icons, walls [there], contact dev [my site].
small bug - '&' turns into '&'
Updated the app and the site.
Details in O.P.
Enjoy!

Publishing an app with Android Studio made in Unity. Generate APK button faded.

I have made a game with the Unity Engine. Now that I have published the game to Google Play I have noticed that there are some permissions I don't want that unity adds by default. I want to remove them but Unity doesn't allow me to edit the AndroidManifest file.
I've been told to use Android Studio for that. I have no experience and have no idea how to use it. I have managed edited the android manifest to remove the permissions that I don't need, now I want to sign and publish the Apk from android studio, however there is a problem.
When I go to the Build menu the "Generate signed APK" button is disabled and faded out so I can't click it. What do I need to do in order to click this button, sign the app and upload it to the play store?
It may also be worth mentioning that the android section of the project view on the side shows no files, files are only shown after pressing "Project" in the top left drop down. I have no idea if this is normal due to lack of experience.
Soultion
I've figured out how to do edit the permissions without use of android studio.

Where to test my apps backend?

Hi, i am currently developing a back-end for my android app in PHP and i need somewhere to test it and deploy it. Is there somewhere i can test my back-end for free? I am willing to rewrite it in a other language if necessary. I have looked at app engine, AWS and azure but i do not have a credit card of my own.
Any suggestions?
Running and testing API backends locally
To test the backend, you'll use the API Explorer, which is a tool that lets you test APIs interactively without using a client app. This tool is automatically run for you when you navigate to your backend API's subdirectory /_ah/api/explorer as we'll describe in the instructions below.
for more information plz follow this link -> https://cloud.google.com/appengine/docs/java/endpoints/test_deploy

Thank you! Do i need to be enrolled with app engine to use it?
Adding an App Engine Java Servlet Modulec -
This page shows you how to add an App Engine Java Servlet module to your project in Android Studio.
To add the module:
Start Android Studio and open the project for the Android app that needs the new backend.
If you have not installed Android Studio or set up your environment yet, see the Quickstart for details.
Right-click on your project and select New > Module.
Select Google Cloud Module from the list and then click Next.
Select App Engine Java Servlet Module, and then supply the remaining information in the New Google Cloud Module form:
Enter module parameters
Supply a module name for your backend; this name will be displayed and used in your Android Studio project.
Supply a package name. This package name will be used for all classes imported from this template.
Select the client module (containing your Android app) in this project. This module will be automatically set up to have the right compile and build dependencies to be able to call your newly generated backend.
Click Finish to generate the new backend.
Select Tools > Android > Sync Project with Gradle Files to sync the project.

Hello, I have recently added a few features for Webhook Relay com project (google it, don't want to post link) such as bidirectional tunnels for exactly this reason - test your application backend without deploying. You can just spin up a java/php/python/go/whatever server on your laptop and use relay agent to expose it to the internet. I hope it helps.
