Hi, I have a ATT Lumia 1520 RM-940 that has built in support for LTE 1700 (band 4) but not HSPA+ (probably ATT locked).
RM-938 has same frequencies as RM-940 but has HSPA+ enabled 1700 frequency. If I flash it, do you think I could possibly enable the HSPA+ support? Thanks

I've just bought a AT&T HD7S off ebay from a US seller and I'm in the UK. It's not until just now that I considered how it might perform in the UK. I see that the AT&T HD7S lists HSDPA: 850/1900 MHz as its 3g frequencies, while the UK HD7 lists HSPA/WCDMA: 900/2100 MHz. Does this mean I won't be able to get 3g signal on UK networks? Does anybody have experience using a AT&T HD7S in the UK?
The HTC Help & How To page lists the following:
What bands does my device support?
GSM/GPRS/EDGE: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
HSDPA/UMTS: 850/1900/1700(AWS)/1900/2100 MHz
But the Tech Specs page shows this:
UMTS: 1900/850
GSM/GPRS/AT&T: 850/900/1800/1900MHz
So I wonder if the phone actually supports 2100 MHz
And if so, since O2 HSDPA/3G in the UK runs on 900/2100 does this mean that the phone will still get 3G on 2100 MHz, but won't benefit from the 900 MHz band which enables coverage in harder to reach locations.
Secondly, should I only flash AT&T Radios on to this phone or can I flash the Europe modem found here forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/HTC_HD7/Radios ? Might doing so enable the 2100 MHz band which isn't used by AT&T ?

I got mine off ebay too (HD7S AT&T), did u manage to get the 3G working ? Please help me. Have you flashed the Euro radio ?
NO
UMTS: 1900/850
GSM/GPRS/AT&T: 850/900/1800/1900MHz
These are the correct specs.... because there's no 2100MHz band for GSM, the 2100MHz is used by CDMA networks.
Can you tell me the differences with the Trill and the p925G and p925H. I live in NZ and would like to purchase a phone that is compabiblywith the XT network from my understanding I should be able to purchase a At&T P925 phone but unsure.
The Bands I'm after are 3G (I think this is also known as UMTS) 850 & 2100Mhz, does the At&T phone cover this, ie if I purchase any AT7T p925 of Ebay it will have these freq.
The main reason I didn't go for the p920 is that is doesn't have the 850.
The AT&T branded thrill uses the following...
GSM: 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
UMTS: 850, 1900 MHz
Ta, do they have 2100?
It does. All the smartphones I got from AT&T have the 2100mhz

Will the unlocked L920 work on ATT LTE network?
Sent from my Lumia 900 using Board Express
It should since At&t is the main GSM carrier in the US. However, LTE bands are different in Europe so there could be some discrepancy. But it would work on At&t. I believe even the international 900 works exactly th same, just not SIM carrier locked.

Well, I asked if the bands are compatible with att lte

The international 900 does not have LTE support at all.
We'll have to wait and see on the 920 -- depends on the bands.
The lumia 920 does have late bands on board, but I am asking if those bands are compatible with att late bands.

does that mean that only 2100 LTE will work on the L920? or do you need both 1700/2100 to have LTE to work?
both frequencies are required. you probably wouldn't get 3G, either.
Questions should be asked in Q&A forums for devices/platforms that have them.
Thread moved.
GSM Arena has bad specs... don't go by Nokia's US site since it lists wrong specs as well (tailored to fit AT&T)

I have a Lumia 1520 RM-940 and would like to enable the AWS band 4 spectrum for HSPA+ (1700/2100) that the RM-938 has. The ATT version has LTE band 4 available and my understanding is ATT disables the HSPA network. If I flashed the RM-938 ROM would this enable AWS on the phone? Also, if so, any specific Process I should use. Need for Wind Mobile in Canada. Thanks
Hi All,
Just knew today that my unlocked HTC One M7 is not compatible with LTE signal with my local carrier (Smart PH) as stated here.
Further checking, the carrier is operating in LTE in these bands:
Band 1 – 2100 MHz
Band 3 – 1800 MHz
Band 5 – 850 MHz
Is there anyway for my phone to be able to connect in LTE? Will rooting my device fix the issue?
Thanks!
