I have a virgin mobile i9000 and i cant seem to get it working with my gsm telus sim card. any tips or advice?
thanks in advance
Did you buy the phone unlocked?
If not I believe you would need to have the phone unlocked in order order to use a Telus SIM card in it.
I have a friends ATT Galaxy sm-g730a running 4.2.2
3.4.0.-1299773
It is rooted and I am trying to sim unlock. he has ATT and I want to put on T-Mobile.
Everything I see it calls for a paid app. Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance.
Hey,
I just recently moved to the USA and I am trying to set up my Note 3 to work with AT&T but I'm not sure how to do that.
The phone I currently have is a Rogers Galaxy Note 3 N900W8 (Already knox 0x1), and I'm curious what I need to do to make it work with my AT&T sim card.
I was hoping to stick to ViSiOn-X but from what I can see that is not available for AT&T, so I'll probably just stick with the stock ROM, whichever that is.
Though, I do still have a phone plan in Canada and would like to switch between the sim cards so that I can check my voicemail if at all possible.
Is it possible to set up my phone to work with both Rogers Canada and AT&T USA? Or am I required to purchase a factory unlocked phone to do that?
If it is possible, how?

You need a factory unlock so you can switch carriers now as for the rom I'm not sure if the rom will work on AT&T, you should check the rom forum an see if other AT&T users used it an if don't already know the Model for AT&T is SM-N900A, also you could always try the rom once you get an sim unlock, an try it with that rom but if it don't work flash a rom that you kno will work

Ive got my phone unlocked now, but I think there may be some issues with the ROM. When I first unlocked it I was getting the 4G connection to AT&T. Now I just have the regular phone connection, no 4G. Data is on.
Hey People,
Thanks in advance for all your replies and help, really appreciate it ..
OK, So I have a Verizon LG G2, which I am using in Pakistan (also I bought it in Pakistan) and I am using it without a Verizon Sim. These sort of phones are common here which are used phones which come from US. They do some unlocking and make this phone accessible to every local sim.
I want to inquire that if I root it and install a custom ROM in it will it still work and use my Pakistan based sim or will it stop working and than it would need a Verizon sim to work
Currently it shows that it is unrooted.

Hi,
If you wanted to know whether you will lose your phone unlock thingy, then nope. Unlocking a phone is permanent.
My question is does the Tmobile phone have to be unlocked to work on the ATT network???
Can I just put my att sim card for this to work??
Someone help please and thanks!!
Yes the phone will need to be sim unlocked for it to be used on the ATT network.
