[Q] problem with sim..

I couldn't text and call even my sim card is inside the mobile and i got only Emergency calls... after i flashed my i9000...
what can i do? can you help me?

Well you need to write back you apn settings for your carrier.
That is one thing that you should have made a backup of before you flashed.
These settings you can often find on your carrier webpage.

Whith which firmware did u flash. Which was the old one.

[Q] NO SIM Card GT-S5830

Hi Guys.. I have a serious problem. Yesterday, my phone was working fine. Today, I can't get to call or message as my phone shows NO SIM CARD!!! What's the PROBLEM???? PLEASE HELP!!!!

Flashing new ROM does not work too...

Did u try putting that sim card in another phone?? The ACE's SIM slot rips off the SIM card after too many insertions.. Happened to me.. Changed the SIM card no problem

Done... It works on another phone but not mine!!!! WHAT THE >>> IS THE PROBLEM???? Its been working for so many days and all of a sudden, this pops out of thin air!!!!!!

Yes.. None of them worked on my phone but worked on other phone... And the best part is, I can't even flash using ODIN. The bootloader show me DOWNLOADING, but no android with a shovel logo... SO NOW HOW?????

Asked TeamCooper abt it. Its hardware issue. Not software.. Freakin Irritating!!

No one asked you to use Heimdall OneClick .
You should be using ODIN -.- and a full package as well

The only solution is probably Service Center

Go to sam service station tell them was upgrading my fone to official v of gingerbread via kies and this happend they will do it for free ...

[Q] [NEED HELP] sim card not detected.

hi all, i already use search button and also google but still not find the answers... after i unlock bootloader my X8 can't detected sim card. already try my sim card in to other phone and running find. i already back to stock rom and relock my bootloader and still not detected. and then i try to unlock bootloader and istall custom kernel and custom room and result still same can't detect. what can i do it?? pls help...

Before unlocking BL you should take out sim card ,now you only can repair with PC companion program

I do it for many times and it works..

i have xperia tx from US but im in the Philippines.
may phone have a full signal bars but it is still no service.

Not everyone is online at the same time as you and you need to let people go through their daily routine, the person with your answer may be at work, or asleep.
Try flashing a phillipines FTF

In philippines, i think we don't have philippines version of ftf.
I try repair my phone via PCC and the JB version installed is from middle east.

To enable safe mode
1.Turn off the phone.
2.Press and hold down the power key Power key of Sony Smartphone until the phone vibrates.
3.Wait until the Xperia™ logotype disappears.
4.Press and hold the volume down key until the phone vibrates. The phone then restarts in safe mode.
Note: To exit safe mode, restart the phone.

Still no service. Also in factory reset. Then sometimes it show PHONE NOT ALLOWED MM #6 and sometimes i have signal and it can send sms and call.

Have you tried another sim card?
have you tried your sim in another phone?
is your sim card original or cut down to fit?

its original and im using it on X8 but no service in TX.
but other sim network is working in my TX.
you know how to factory unlock on TX?

Might have activated sim lock
