Which Kies to use for G900H? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 5

While trying to root the phone using the CM-AutoRoot method (TowelRoot doesn't work on Exynos devices) the firmware flash failed. I am now stuck on a screen saying "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again."
Since I haven't made any previous modifications to the phone, I figured I could just recover it through Kies, but the problem is that it is an international exynos-equipped GS5 (being an SM-G900H model) and I have tried both the U.S. and Australian versions of Kies and neither have been able to recover the phone. Hoping someone can help me out.

HELP installing stock firmware on my SM-G900a

A little back information to clear up how this started; a friend of mine has some very serious mental health issues and over factory reset his SM-G900A because he is paranoid someone will get his phone and steal his information. Its not stolen or found. The reactivation lock was triggered and hes so overly medicated he cant figure out what his Samsung account information is to recover it. He claims to have sent it back to Samsung and they couldn't recover it. I'm new to modding androids but have had a lot of success tweaking my SGH-I537.
I tried to reinstall the stock firmware to get around the reactivation lock. When i checked the properties of the phone on my pc it said it was running G900AUCU4BOF3 firmware. But a google search told me that the OF3 was a OTA to downgrade it to NCE. Several attempts with Odin "failed" every time and brought me rite back to the reactivation lock. Until the last attempt with my third different set of NCE files ended with a "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again" warning on boot up. But Kies or Smart Switch wont connect to the device now.
Can someone help me please?

Please help!
I'm in the same boat. I'm on 5.1.1 and it says my phone is up to date. A friend at work got the update, and he doesn't even know what it is
Are only some phones getting it? I'm not even getting an error message of any kind, just a message that my phone is up to date.
ODIN or Kies or Smartswitch to manually upgrade. Kies and Smartswitch are the safest ways if you arent confident in using odin seeing as they scan your device and choose the correct firmware automatically. If you choose the ODIN path there are several firmwares on General and development threads. For beginners I highly recommend Kies or Smartswitch seeing as ODIN can brick your device if you dont know what you are doing.

Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. (Locked) Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900A

Hi. There fellow android users, I am currenty plagued with an Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & Try Again Samsung Galaxy SM-G900A (AT&T) and i'm trying to get my phone back in working order. I've tried using Odin to flash AP_G900AUCU1ANCE_964333_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar.md5 back on to it, sadly it fails everytime. Soft brick update custom rom to stock 6.0.1

I have a SM-G900V that was on a custom 4.4.4 ROM. I'm selling the phone and wanted to give a stock but updated phone to the guy.
I downloaded the latest for 6.0.1 for the Verzion G900V and flashed it in Odin. It got a write fail. I tried again and it went further but then got another write fail.
Now when I try to boot the phone it goes to Software update failed error. I can boot again by long holding the power button. The phone is still recognized in Odin.
The bootloader was unlocked
The emmc was 15.
The build number of the custom ROM was: Build: KTU84P- G900VRU1ANI2
I'll keep searching for a solution but the guy I'm selling the phone to is freaking out so any and all help would be much appreciated.
update
I tried flashing the same build as what was on the phone AN12 and it failed with an Auth fail error in Odin. I did some research and saw that could be a CSC problem. I tried using Kies because I read you can find the CSC code that way. I couldn't get Kies to 'talk' to the phone. It saw that a phone was connected but it wouldn't created the connection. I tried firmware recovery but I need the serial number and Samsung in its infinite wisdom doesn't put the serial number on the sticker inside the phone (at least it doesn't on US Verizon).
It's a phone from Verizon (originally bought on contract) in the US and I have been using US Verizon downloads from either updato or sammobile (for the 4.4.4)
I could realy use some help. I'd like not to bork the phone by just trying hail mary solutions.

Samsung Note 8 N950F stock ROM Failed in Odin mode

I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 SM-N950F and I am looking to put it back on stock ROM. I have tried downloading several N950F stock BTU ROM's and I tried to flash it in Odin and it gives a message that says FAILED, and my phone that is in download mode says 'sw rev check fail bootloader device 5 binary 1'. I don't know what the problem is. I need to fix this phone as soon as possible, so if you can assist me I would gladly appreciate it.

What is your baseband (in about phone/software info)? eg. N950FXXU5CRK1
If your baseband has N950FXX(S or U)5.... (notice the U5, and pay attention to the "#" after U or S). Find the correct firmware with that number or higher and flash it.
You can Not flash any firmware with N950FXXU4(3,2,1) on top of the installed N950FXXU5.... the bootloader won't allow it.
Try another cable or USB slot and see if the usb-c slot isn't dirty. Also make sure you have the latest ODIN software.
