So, I've tried searching Google for other threads about this same issue but can't find any. Anyways, I installed TWRP Recovery (the latest one as of now) for my HTC One phone. I wanted to take it to the next level by installing Cyanogenmod several times already I've tried flashing the latest Snapshot of CM 11 for the HTC One M7. Everytime I try I get an error: "E: error executing updater binary in zip (zip file name)" I've heard some places you need clockworkmod for CM 11, but on the wiki the instructions are for TWRP
So, thanks in advance to anyone who helps me even the slightest. I hope my issue can get sorted.
As some added information incase anyone wants to know I did wipe the caches, dalvik and cache and I also wiped factory reset and wiped the system before flashing. I also didn't have zip verification checked.
Thanks

Well if it failed with twrp 2.7.0.8 I guess trying I newer version wouldn't hurt. Try with 2.7.1.2 https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358561860
Also check the md5 of your cyanogenmod download. You can use this tool for that. http://www.winmd5.com

yesterday was working perfectly but today when I woke up I noticed that the wi-fi does not work! I installed a bunch of roms, but the radio will not work. I had ARHD 13.3 installed on it for a month and was working perfectly just do not understand how broke off overnight! What do you recommend I do with him? I looked on the forum and did not find any solution! now I can not turn on wi-fi or bluethoot! "Hardware information" Wi-Fi MAC address says "unavailable" Bluetooth address and write "unavaible"? what to do? is a hardware or software?
What do you have as a rom now? Get the ARHD 30.0 its SENSE 5.5 NEW RADIO/FIRMWARE

Is your phone S-Off? And this may be an obvious question, but when you flash a new ROM, do you factory reset?

Ok but ViperRom is still and older base, according to your hboot info you are on 3.04.651.2 already, viper is based on 1.29.651.10 there were touch panel drivers in the 4.3 update

I fear that I may have bricked by M7 HTC One (AT&T). I was able to root the phone and install TWRP 2.6.3.3 without issue. I successfully was able to S-OFF the phone using rumrunner. I then updated my radio without any problems. I then flashed my ROM to the GPE 4.4 edition for HTC One.
Now I have turned my phone on to reboot and the only thing the phone has been doing is playing the Google four-color animation for the last 10 minutes or so. I am unable to restart the phone and get back into recovery mode.
What do I do?

Thank you! I was able to get back into TWRP and recover into my backup of when the phone was working. I wish I knew why the GPE rom wasn't working.

I actually ended up going with the 4.4.2 KitKat with Sense 6 by insertcoin. The Google Play Edition ran so slowly on the phone, it was painful.

That's what I'm on. You gotta watch it though, it'll make a flashaholic out of you. I just started using IC a couple of weeks ago and for awhile there were 2-3 updates a night where the IC team was working hard porting Sense 6 over. Every flash got better and battery life got longer.
Hello,
My HTC One M7 is under Cyanogenmod since few months and It has been working without major issues.
Since the update of 10/10/2014, I meet huge troubles with the Google Apps - none is working -
Needless to precise that the phone is rooted, S-Off, super CID...
I didn't install any new app before or after this update
Who has known something similar?
Any "patch"? Shall I go back to the latest working rev. of Cyanogen or is there another more smart solution?
Thanks.

If you want stability and a known working software stick with Stock HTC or GPE OS. Cyanogen is a constant work in progress and if you don't like testing and dealing with things being broken it's probably not the Rom for you.
