Bluetooth Audio Skips/Freezes - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My phone is driving me nuts.
I listen to music through my bluetooth earphones while in the gym. The music glitches every 20-30 seconds.
Also, if I skip ahead more than a couple tracks at a time, the music player freezes completely and stops playing music. The only way to get music to play again is to force quit the app, and relaunch.
I've tried different music players and it happens with all of them. Is there anything I can do to fix this? It's never happened with my other phones, only the HTC One M7, and this is the second one that does it.
Currently running the latest CM rom.

Any different ROMs that do it?

[Q] Music stops playing while using GPS-software

Hi!
Has anyone else had this strange phenomena with Galaxy S and GPS? Randomly the music player stops playing music while I'm training and using Runkeeper with heavy GPS usage. Same thing has happened with three different players, PowerAMP, Winamp and stock player. Player just pauses the music being played. Sometimes it happens several times during my workout, sometimes maybe once.
Any help appreciated thanks!
This happens to me constantly. Doesn't matter which player I use the music stops once I hit the home screen button.
I'm running the bell froyo jk3 rom.
This also happens a lot to me no matter what music app I use. I generally listen to music in the car with the phone in my pocket so I'm not sure if particular gps software is being used while I'm moving, even if I'm not using Maps or Navigation.

Music mixing itself?

well apparently im having some issues with my SGS, I tried to wipe data factory and installed a whole new ROM, deleted all the music and downloaded it again (all of it ) just because the music, when played just randomly started to mix it with other songs, i couldnt listen to one single song without it being mixed automatically.
So I decided to put on some fresh downloaded music and nsome new ROM, but the problem started again!!
It keeps mixing songs without any order or reason. I tried downloading a new music player "Mixzing" but it keeps mixing, its driving me crazy.
Currently on Android Version 4.0.4
Handbase I9000XXJVU
Core version 3.1.10-i9000 Devil_1.1.6b_BFS_BLN_CMC
Compilation Dark Knight 3
mod version [email protected]_knight_nasif
I dont know what the problem could be, or the solution, I dont mind installing a new ROM or anything. I just want my music
That sounds very strange... When you say mixing, do you mean music from other songs is being inserted to a song while it's playing?
Have you tried looking at the music player app while it's playing, and looked for any strange behaviour? Eg jumping around to a new track? Maybe it's something to do with the headphone, like if there's a hardware next button it's faulty and randomly makes you skip ahead to the next track.
By mixing I mean it does not change the song, it just adds a little part of another song and then it gets back to the current song.. Lets say its playing Song A, then on the half of A it starts playing another random song (not starting a new song, but it just adds a part of another song), and then it gets back to the original song.
I dont think its a hardware problem because it does not change the song, the player keeps showing the song, but it just randomly mixes it with another song; although it displays its playing the current song.
Any other suggestion, i guess ill install power amp.
thanks for the reply
Did you manage to solve the problem? Can't really think of anything that might cause this strange behaviour... Are the mixed songs permanently there? Ie if you replay the song, the same thing plays again. If so, maybe the song file itself got corrupted somehow...

[Q] ICS Music Volume Bug

Hi I updated my Note to ICS (LQ2) and for some reason whenever I listen to music during quiet parts of a song there will be no sound. When the song gets louder then the sound comes back on. This happens when the media volume is low like at 1 or 2. When I turn the media volume up however, it plays normally. Does anyone else experience this? I tried reflashing but the problem is still there. I've also tried other music players and even on Youtube videos the same thing happens.

Oreo - Bluetooth Audio Player selection problem. Always Spotify starts playing

Hi,
since Oreo (Official version, no root, everything original) I have a problem with bluetooth audio, when I'm connected to one of my cars (Audi A6 and A3).
Everytime spotify starts to play. Even if i start manually another player (Smart Audio Player for audibooks) in many cases it starts playing for a few seconds, stopps and than spotify starts playing again. Sometimes it is not possible to play the audiobooks.
If I mute the volume in my car, Smart Audio Player stopps playing (when I had the luck, that it was not interruped by spotify ). If I unmute the volume, spotify continues to play and not Smart Audio Player.
This behavior has come new with Oreo. With Android 7.x everything was fine.
Do you have some tips for me, what I can do? This behavior is very annoying.
Thanks a lot.

Music output often garbled

I explained this problem on reddit (r/Xiaomi/comments/enxblm/garbled_music_on_mi_9t_pro - can't post links) but no solution was found. I'll copy the description:
I have regular problems with completely garbled music output on my 9T Pro: Instead of playing a song normally, the sound output it very high pitched and completely garbled, so even recognizing the song is impossible. Also, very unpleasant to listen to.
It doesn't happen mid-song, but when a new song starts playing it has a chance to be broken like this. Restarting playback fixes it, but it might just happen again with the next song.
I've tried differend music apps (Phonograph and Play Music), so the app is probably not the cause of the problem.
It's also not limited to a specific output, I've had it happen with the built-in speakers and when using a Bluetooth device.
I've first noticed the problem shortly after the update to Android 10, so it's been going on a while.
As suggested on reddit, I've tried VLC Player which doesn't seem affected by this problem, but I don't want to use it permanently.
Another observation: Rebooting makes this go away for a while, but with time it'll happen more and more often until it occurs on almost every song change again.
Any ideas?
