How to get HTC Sync working
I NEED HTC Sync Software for my PHONE, not my PC
it is possible. i opened a thread few days ago.
I got the files from other ROMs.
Install them in your phone like you install apps
Wait for a while or restatr your phone.
and you need Sync for your PC.
here is the files you need.
doesnt work with APPSInstaller. How do i install it?
Try using command prompt
you must have Sdk tools on your pc
so it can read your phone
go to the directory were this 2 files located unzip them .
easiest way just put them on C: or on D:
than open commad promt from your PC i thik you know what it is
check first does it read your phone type
"adb devices"
it should show you your drvices serial number. if it ok.
type
"adb install sync.apk"
it will install the first file
"adb install pcsii.apk"
it will instal your second file.. and everything will be ok
Thanks, I was looking for this as well.
Just flash my Magic to hofo v1.1.1. Need to sync with PC, thanks for the file.
Doesn't work for my Vodafone Magic
When i plug my usb cable in it says: "Sorry! The application PC Synchronization (process com.htc.android.psclient) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
I'm running Cyanogen 4.0.4
Any ideas?
I'm also looking for a solution to this problem - plenty of rom cookers remove the sync software, but I've yet to find anyone that can tell me how to FIX it.
Like the previous poster, when I install the three required files (sync.apk, pcscii.apk and pcscii.odex), I get the error mentioned. Surely someone has a way to fix this?

Right. Doesn't work either on a Vodafone Magic with org. ROM same error. You're only able to sync with google apps.
its honestly not worth it
Push Sync software to Sapphire 32A
Hello,
To proceed with RUU from the carrier, the HTC sync connection needs to be estabilished, am I right?
In order to do this, I used the files from the previous poster ruslanriad.
However, It unexpectedly crashes, no matter if I use fastboot install mode or .apk installation through the file browser.
How can I get it up and running?
I'm using Magic Orange 32A with 1.33.2010 HBOOT and 6.35 radio. Current ROM is FroyoRider_Switch_6.35_34_v1.0.

t-mobile g1 pc suite

Hello everyone,I just want a pc suite for my htc t-mobile g1 so I can install applications because htc sync and android pc suite can't recognize my phone.
adb is your friend, don't need an app for that, just cmd/terminal.
Can't you just use the Market? O.O
Thanks for your replay but adb is not working for me (device offline) and I can't open the market because wifi is not working good.
try this
i use it all the time. really useful

If ADB isn't working, check to make sure you have the updated drivers first. Here.
I insttalled android-sdk-windows and I did all the updates but when I try to install an application with adb I get (error:device offline) so I don't know where is the problem.
you need the compatible G1 drivers first.
One way to do this is to install PDA-Net (just the free version) and install that... reboot your computer and then try adb. The drivers are in the pdanet software and its a fix. You can uninstall pda-net (after you get adb working) because the drivers will stay on the computer.
also you do know you are supposed to run adb when the phone is on... running its regular system.
I installed pda net and I get android original adb interface installed but the driver of usb mas storage is not installed and I still have the same probleme (device offline).

Confirmed Working QPST

Ok after some hours of trial and error Im able to read and write to my one with qpst. I'll share my setup.
I'm on windows 8 64bit
I've attached the build of qpst I used as well as the driver.
If your on windows 8 or 7 you will have to disable the signed driver check
open command prompt by running as an administrator, then issue this command
bcdedit /set {globalsettings} advancedoptions true
reboot.
Once windows restarts choose option 7 to disable driver check.
Connect your phone with the usb cable and enter diag mode by press ##3424#
Two drivers should fail to load
Htc diag
Htc diag9k
Right click on the htc diag9k driver and click on "update driver software"
select "browse my computer for driver software"
Then "let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
click have disk and navigate to where you extracted the driver files
and choose Qualcomm HS-USB Android Diag 9018
Click next till it is installed and you should be ready to open qpst
you will need your msl/spc code but there is a thread on a easy way to retrieve that.

Useful info
Just to let everyone know...
I just loaded the normal HTC Diag drivers I have been using for years for the diag9k. Was able to access it in QPST , CDMA WS (paid version) , and DFS . (The regular htc diag wouldn't respond to any of the commands sent to it with using the normal drivers, I will try with the ones posted but I am thinking that we really should only need to work with the 9k). Same thing applies with any htc phone of recent years, if you want acess to NV folder, create a folder called "open sesame door" in the main directory while using efs explorer in qpst or in DFS read EFS2 and create the folder. Reboot the phone and the folder will be accessible. QPST is the better option since when in DFS it doesn't show some of the key files you need to work with *cough cough*. Same HTC supercode works and cdma WS is able to find the SPC just fine. Another fun fact for people to know. The one does function for calls text and internet without the sim card , just no lte , which for some this might be helpful ( >=) ). Always some fun menus to change settings under ##3282# as well. Hope this helps some people out!
I would love to get QPST working with my Sprint HTC One. So far everything I have tried hasn't worked.
The linked drivers are corrupt for me as well (tried WinRAR and 7-Zip). Any new links possibly?
The attached files are actually HTML. I just changed the extension to "htm" and loaded it in a browser. It opens the Dropbox download page.
I'm working on the driver signing issue now.
Richard
My QPST screen
I now have the attached drivers installed. I still get exactly what I was getting with several other HTC diag drivers.
It looks like something is found, but the phone isn't recognized.
Any thoughts?
Richard
Hello i cant install the drivers since it says that the drivers are not digital signed, can some one tellme how can i install them? i already tyed the comand prompt, and other ways, but allways says that theres an error installing them... Tahnx
Thanks!

I tried the instruction exactly as posted but could not get the Diag9k drivers to work. The drivers do get installed but there is a yellow triangle showing and an error massage comes up stating that the drivers are not compatible with the device. Can somebody let me know how to install the drivers correctly?

Just extract the downloaded zip file and you will get a folder named adt bundle where you should find SDK Manager in it.
Just run it normaly and u should see the menu for installing the different android sdk versions.
You can choose only 4.1 and 4.2 or install all of them, it's your choice.
No Problem, mate.

The old Kit had the 4.1.2 drivers in it, and now you need the 4.2.2 drivers for your device.
I recommend you to install the latest SDK and Toolkit to prevent problems in the future.

ADB

hi
im trying to use ADB to delete some bloatware off of my phone, but im having troubles doing so because it cannot find my device. ive tried updating the drivers for it through Device Manager but the phone is not listed there. however, it shows up in My Computer and i am able to transfer files onto it.
are there any other solutions or possible fix for this?
thanks.
I'm new here so I can't post links. I was having the same problem with the Adb version I was using with my old phone (mostly getting "device offline" errors).
Google "15 seconds Adb". Its an up-to-date installer that weights almost nothing and includes all the necesary drivers.
Deleted Whats New with no problem.

Have you installed the three things that come with the installer? (Adb+fastboot+drivers)?
Also: have you installed the propietary Sony software for Xperia interaction (can't remember the name, probably Xperia Connect or something like that) ? Maybe that has some drivers that you need.
I asume you also have installed the Google USB drivers installed (use 32 bit version, NOT 64).
I'm just naming all these because I had all of them already installed before I downloaded 15 seconds adb, so maybe they interact somehow and that's why it works for me.
Also make sure you are using latest version of everything.
Edit: did you get on your phone the debugging alert when you connected it?
Edit 2: please post what commands you enter into the cmd.
