I got me an app named Silent Boot from the play store.
Dont know if it works on a P7, worked on my tab s 8.4
Thanks for help. This app work wery well.
For rooted devices is an another way to solved it. By using Root Explorer You can change name of the file "bootSound.ogg" located in "system/media/audio/animationsound" folder.

Hello,
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 with a stock rom with Hebrew menus (didn't come with the phone, I flashed it but it's basically stock with Hebrew menus). I'm trying to use a custom mp3 notification sound. I used Ringdroid to cut the song and make it available on the notifications menu, and it sounds fine on Ringdroid and when playing the sound file itself, but when I actually set it as the notification sound, the sound is very low. I searched around and seen some people complaining about it but no actual answer, so I was hoping someone here can help.
Thanks, Ohad.
Yeah I used to have the same problem.. nothing can be done for that. You have to root your device and flash a patch for dsp manager if it doesnot work you have option but to flash a rom like cyanogenmod 7 it has a fantastic sound quality..

Thank you for the answer. I've flashed the DSP manager app now, it seems a little better. Are there any suggested preferences to use with it?
Thanks, Ohad.
Well that purely depends on you you can set to your own taste well for the phone speakers you can enable bass boost and set the equalizer to acoustic and for your earphone settings just use acoustic only and enable virtual room and set it to studio. These are the settings I use rest depends on you and your needs.. and FYI these screenshots are just for earphones..

Hey, everyone. Seeing as how there isn't any root for this phone currently, I understand that I can't flash any programs or install any programs like Viper4AndroidFX/HiFi/Nooxizide.
However, would it be possible to edit the speaker volume levels with ES File Explorer? Or is there some kind of app that would boost volumes? Even a service mode that I could enter to tweak audio settings in depth?

Hello,
When I'm playing music using spotify or any other music player aside from the stock one, music controls still appear at the lockscreen but they do not work. Am I doing something wrong?
Sent from my HUAWEI P7-L10 using XDA Free mobile app
No, I have the same problem with every third-parts music player. Controls on the lockscreen works only with stock Huawei music player. (I am on B602)
I have the same issue.
I am using Spotify as my main music player, and lock screen displays what I am playing. So far, so good. When I want to change track though, it switches to stock music player and puts on the classic music which comes with the phone.

Same here. Seems to be a bug in the software.
Is there anyone who found a solution for this problem?
is there seek or scrubber in the lockscreen music control and can someone add a picture of lockscreen music controls

Not sure about the terminology. "Srubber" as in a line which allows you to rewind/fast forward?

No, it isn't. It's just aesthetics. :/

Same problem, Poweramp can be used with its own lockscreen so no problem with it.
Problem comes with SoundCloud, there seems no way to change or pause track if not by unlocking the screen or using Xposed with hardware buttons.
same problem is in mate 7 it is just thing what huawei has no idea .. you have to contact huawei about this ..
they need to fix this..
Well yeah we can use music players with custom lock screens. But some people prefer the stock one

If you use lock patern the controls will work. It won't work on huawei lock only.

I use Aimp and shuttle plus

Tried it. Not working for me.
Hi, I found a solution without the need to root your device in another forum. Since it's in German, I'll quickly translate the instructions:
In ES File Explorer go to /device/system/app
In that folder, look for the file "HwMediaCenter.apk" and touch to install it
If you get a warning not to install apps from unknown sources accept to install this app and proceed
The installation will start now and finish with an error message, which is to be expected
Restart your phone
The annoying default music player should have disappeared. The reason being that due to the unsuccessful installation attempt it got removed/deactivated.
Thanks, it works !
I had the same problem with Spotify, I had to remove Google Music too.
Maybe it's just about the default music player (It can be set in Settings/Manage apps/Default app settings) but since Spotify is not seen as a music player as such, I had no other choice.
Thanks again.
Thankyou

I'd be keen to hear what if anything peole are using.
Sounds far too tinny standard.
Standard headphone sound can be EQ'd in poweramp to sound ok, but really lacks volume by the time I've toned down the awefull piercing trebble, and boosted lower frequencies.
Is there a hidden setting somewhere like on other phones to turn off the low volume safety feature?
Or is the audio hardware in the phone just not very good?
Check this : http://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/themes/dolby-atmos-huawei-p9-t3406574
I use it and the sound is very loud.

Well this will help the OP when he was not rooted .
When the system partition is never modified. There u see nothing gets changed and a factory reset will brimg back all from the system partition
Yes that's correct when system partitions are not modified simple reset would bring default experience.
