I downloaded revone.bin moved to /data/local/tmp
Open terminal
Su
CD /data/local/tmp
chmod 755 revone
./revone -p (lower case only works)
then revone successful
then reboot
the I have to temp root again cause I lose root when rebooting
then
Su
CD /data/local/revone
./revone -s 0 -u
revone failed now what's going on how can I fix this
also I have no other method works on my device cause can't use computer

revone is for hboot 1.44 only, read previous page.
You can use the bootloader reset tool from htc1guru.com to remove the tampered banner.

I have a T-mobile HTC One and I have tried for 2 days now to get to S-Off but I keep getting error codes using both revone and moonshine.
With Moonshine I get all the way down to Moonshining <10> and then it says error: Dont Drink and Shine. I have run it about 10 times and keep getting the same think.
With Revone I get this error code:

cd /data/local/tmp

I have tried doing a FULL power off/factory reset/reboot bootloader. Nothing...
Also after all of this my Wifi will not connect anymore. It now stays on connecting and then after a while it says ERROR.
Any help on fixing any of these would be greatly appriciated. If you need any more information please let me know.

If you are on T-Mobile, you may have accidentally applied an OTA which leaves your HBOOT at 1.44 but patches the exploit revone and moonshine use to set S-OFF.
Again, ONLY on T-Mobile, it is possible to be on HBOOT 1.44 with a patched version that will NOT allow revone or moonshine to work. Hopefully they update these tools to get around this patch. They probably will, it's likely a short matter of time.
(If you suspect you're in this situation, don't even try to apply moonshine unless you know how to restore a stock boot image. Moonshine will quit after 10 tries with an error without restoring your boot!! Moonshine *does* back up your original boot in the folder it was run from, though).

I did not apply the patch but I did just get the phone. I guess it came with that patch because it did start making everything screwy (Didnt recognize my sdcard and would not let wifi turn on) I flashed a stock rom and all is good for now. I will wait for an update to moonshine.
Thanks

Have you fixed it? i have the same problem
I have the 64gb HTC One unlocked, rooted and running TWRP recovery. I have been trying to get s-off but have only succeeded in messing up my WiFi and camera.
I have tried using moonshine (both windows and Linux ver) and revone from both the computer and direct on the phone. Is there anything else I can try?
I would like to either get s-off so I can do the Google edition conversion or go back to stock so I can get my WiFi and camera working and get the OTA updates.

First things first, you are lucky to be on 1.44; let's get you S-OFF using revone. Redownload the revone file and make sure to follow the instructions. If it doesn't work, quote my post with details about what didn't work and copy/paste of your terminal windows, and I'll try to help.

Your hboot is dated "Jul 5 2013,", so that's the patched version (so neither moonshine nor revone will work), you need to downgrade, check this thread for the ATT downgrade link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2431515
Since you want the OTAs, I suggest you flash the stock nandroid from here, take the OTAs, then S-off with rumrunner.
I'm not sure if you have the Dev Edition or the AT&T 64 GB, but attempting to downgrade on my Dev Edition resulted in a soft brick and a phone out of commission for 4 days. So beware.

I have the AT&T 64GB. I managed to get it straightened out by using Rumrunner then flashing the Google Play edition RUU. That gave me what I wanted to reach originally. Now I just need to see if there is a way to fix the tint in the camera.
Thanks for all the help from everyone who posted!
Hey guys,
Super excited about the new 7.0 release of Viper and ready to get my phone tearing it up again.
I'd like some advice on which firmware to update fully to get things running best as possible before flashing Viper 7.0.
I'm coming from basically stock 6.20, and TWRP 6.2.3.3 atm.
I'll go ahead and drop my fastboot getvar all below.
Should just be a few minutes because I'm backing up atm and then good to go.

Thanks in advance for the help it's much appreciated - brothers!

IMO, get S-OFF then flash the firmware that the ROM is based on. Based on your low hboot you could probably start with revone S-OFF. This would give you much more flexibility in the future. Don't forget to make a nandroid of your present system and save it off of your phone. Stuff happens!!!

Alright that's a good place to start...
I was thinking about going S-OFF actually, so this may be right down my alley.
I've already got the nandroid backups saved and I'm copying it off my phone.
Why don't you S-OFF your phone before?

I'm in the process of trying to get it S-OFF'd.
ADB isn't recognizing the device for doing the revone method.
Firewater might be another option.

Here is the method I used many moons ago. If it works great!
Written instructions:
Download the Revone file and transfer it to your phone (or download on your phone)
Use a root file explorer and paste the file inside the /data/local/tmp folder
Open a terminal emulator and type of the following:
su (enter)
cd /data/local/tmp (enter)
chmod 755 revone (enter) (IF revone doesn’t work, type revone.bin)
./revone -P (enter)
Reboot
Open terminal again and type:
su (enter)
cd /data/local/tmp (enter)
./revone -s 0 -u (That would be a ZERO) (enter)
Reboot
That’s it! To get rid of the tampered, or relock, follow instructions below
To remove “tampered”
open terminal
cd /data/local/tmp
su
./revone.bin -t
These are other commands that you can fill in above to
-u – Unlock the device
-l – Lock the device (as if it was never unlocked)
-r – Relock the device (mark the device as relocked)
-t – Reset the device’s tamper flag.

Maybe you are using old adb. Here you have the adb & fastboot from last sdk.
Try to check if you have installed the drivers

cd /data/local/tmp (enter)
chmod 755 revone (enter) (IF revone doesn’t work, type revone.bin)
./revone -P (enter)
Reboot
Open terminal again and type:
su (enter)
cd /data/local/tmp (enter)
./revone -s 0 -u (That would be a ZERO) (enter)
Reboot
That’s it! To get rid of the tampered, or relock, follow instructions below
To remove “tampered”
open terminal
cd /data/local/tmp
su
./revone.bin -t
These are other commands that you can fill in above to
-u – Unlock the device
-l – Lock the device (as if it was never unlocked)
-r – Relock the device (mark the device as relocked)
-t – Reset the device’s tamper flag.

I have the steps done thus far -
Download the Revone file and transfer it to your phone (or download on your phone)
Use a root file explorer and paste the file inside the /data/local/tmp folder
How do I open the Terminal Emulator?
Is that similar to ADB?

Are you entering .revone -P or ./revone -P? If you cannot get this to work you may have to go to rumrunner or firewater.

HBOOT 1.56 and above requires Sunshine to s-off for which you will have to pay $25 http://theroot.ninja/
However if you are just looking to flash custom rom's, you can do this s-on, no need to flash the boot.img separately, this is all done during the flash, you just cant use GPe rom's whilst s-on.

You can't downgrade hboot to achieve s-off because s-off is required to downgrade hboot.

However you can upgrade your firmware as long as it matches exactly your current firmware or the next one up.
Which rom do you want to flash

I need to upgrade my firmware to achieve all recommended in MaximusHD ROM, and I can use it without any problem but I want to achieve all recommended by developer
Why? I don't know
but I think it will give me more stability.
If I upgrade Hboot to 1.57 it can be s-off?
