Hi guys,
I'm not a developper, just a great reader of this forum since two years now. I've see that a lot of person here look for a 4.4.4. rom for Htc sensation xl. Two months ago I found one, a Mokee rom at the chinese xda forum (http://bbs.xda.cn/thread-14011195-1-1.html it's seem the link is dead now, i've found another thread about the rom here http://bbs.anzhi.com/thread-9155678-1-1.html).
The rom was made by Zhuyoucheng and it's pretty good. The bad thing is that the cm11 new themer doesn't work.
I don't use it anymore because after installing it the second time (forgot my schema, lol) and the thrist time, games were force closing. I did'nt know how to fix it.
Here's the link where you can download this rom https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B0_-X2tyfE_bMHBCeTJTWFBIR3c/view?usp=sharing
Use this rom at your own risk. I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, etc.

Hello,
I'm looking for a rom and a kernel which are the best atm for the following criteria:
Smoothness
Stability
NO AOKP! (<== this criteria is only for the rom)
Very energy-saving
Flash-compatibility
No AOKP because i hate its bugs (SmoothRom isn't working fine for me, long clicking on the homescreen lets the screen rotate, i've downloaded it 4x times) and logo.
Atm I'm using this rom and franco kernel.
Sorry for my bad english.
:banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
The best ROM and kernel are the ones that you try out for yourself and like the most. Read the threads, test drive the ones that interest you and form your own opinion. All in all a fairly easy process.

Respect developers and don't ask such questions every rom has some plus points which may or may not present on another rom go try every rom to know which suits you best

Just keep your stock ROM if you don't want to take the time and read the ops of different ROMs and see what they offer and flash and test there are many many great ROMs out there. You have to make the choice as to the one you want and works bust for your needs

OP, first advice....read the Forum Rules on posting....Thread Closed.
first, i would like to thank to you for the development.. lot of thank..
but i have a little problem with the hosting. since iam not allowed to post at the dev section. so i make this thread. i won't ask you something new. but, like i said, i have the problem with the hosting. because almost all the Roms i've downloaded are corrupted. i use IDM, so it's all downloaded completely but they are broke. yea i know i can fix it with winrar. but, it doesn't work either. it fix a lot, but says all of boot.img in almost all the roms i've downloaded was broke (before fixing it, there are more than 90 erors. just the remaining one after fix it). so i just ask anyone who have a boot.img file to provide it for me .
since i'm not willing to use it for any kind of "special purpose". i think it wouldn't violated maclaw's rules.
i have downloaded 5 roms, and only one that working. it was the AOKP kitkat. but when i was trying to flash the Gapps, it wouldn't boot properly. it won't boot at all..
here is the sample proof :

after i try to fix it, just remain one :
i need boot.img for these ROMs :
cm10.2_golden.maclaw.20140108
aokp4.3_golden.maclaw.20140110
slim4.3_golden.maclaw.20140112
cm11.0_golden.maclaw.20140111

I think that guide outdate since 2018 android Nougat, but now Is 2021 and android Q?
Hi,
I'm a new subscriber here. But I already followed your forum to test my first android root>lineage with an old xperia ray and it works now without any gapps (an emergency phone when one breaks for instance).
I don't have windows (I quit in 2004 to linux and now an old good unibody macbook pro for everyday and linux for "noobgeeking".
I'm used to use iphone but I'm looking for quiting since I'm bored of a centralized system. I don't usually like android because of gapps and tracking but I discovered - thanks to you- a way to be "independent". Vollaphone and it's multiboot vollaos/ubuntutouch is sexy to me: I'm going to buy one, I think so.
-_> My purpose is, these days (I posted yesterday about that), to root and to install lineage 19 in a Lenovo x606f: I asked a lot of questions because everything is not clear.
Read you soon !
and thanks to your forum!
Welcome to XDA and enjoy the forums information!
Cheers
