I'ma get the big battery too, so I can run my welding app.
Wait for the Zerolemon. Only extended battery worth getting since it's going to be 3x the stock battery.
How much does it protrude out?

Had one of these on my S3 and just bought one for my GN2. Anxiously awaiting their honeycomb case to follow soon.

I have one for the S3 and I LOVE IT!! Best $20 bucks I ever spent on a phone battery. My worry with this one though is no mention of NFC on it. The Note 2 has NFC on the case again not on the battery like the S3. If this has NFC then you will officially have a phone that lasts longer than a Tablet

No NFC, no thanks.
I bought one of these (can't post links, but do a search on ebay for note 2 7600 and you'll find it). Decided if I was going to extend the battery I might as well do it properly, and a 7600MA battery is about as big as I could find! Figured if it was crap I'd only wasted £15! Turns out it's rather good. It does add a bit of depth to the phone (about 10mm), but for me at least it actually makes it more comfortable in my hand. And it has the added bonus of keeping the camera lens away from whatever surface the phone is on. Can't comment on whether the nfc works or not I'm afraid as it's not something I use.

Click on the link and go to the bottom. You'll see cases only for like 9.99

yeah, I think those go over the battery cover. anyways, I contacted Hyperion asking where I could buy some, and they just sent me 2 for free
Does anyone know if the battery back from the N7100 model will fit on my sph-L900 sprint version???? I hope I didn't waste my money!! I know they're all a little more exact this time around rather than like they were on the note 1.

Was wondering if anyone knows of a good extended battery?
Im kind of weary of them because before my Note II, I had an HTC EVO 3D and tried using an extended battery and it just fried the the display, it never worked again.
So I was wondering if someone could link me to an extended battery that actually worked for them, I would much appreciate it.
Thanks in advance .

Look in general area. I've been doing a review on the anker
And it's awesome. Off amazon 16 prime. Can't beat it. I'm going to get another just for the he'll of it. Charge one in 3 days.
sent from my sch-l605 clean rom, o.c. and under volted, wireless charging modded, 64 ulta sd, just about do anything phone!!!!
Definitely will go with anker. Tested it with my other devices and it was a good batter

Mugen is crazy asking for $100. I just got my Anker yesterday for 16 bucks on Amazon. Popped it in my phone and it had 50% juice in it. Right now almost 24 hours later I'm sitting at 35%. Still far from being able to tell how good it will be because I haven't had it long enough but it seems very promising.

+1 same question here mate
Hey guys I just got the hyperion 6200 with extended cover and here are my results so far in pics below.
I've had the screen brightness on about %20 the whole time. If you dont mind the bulk this thing is a beast! As of right now it was definitely worth $20. Hope this helps.

Thats not much better then stock battery imo, I can easily go 14-20+ hrs with at least 6-7 screen on time heavy usage. The note 2 is a phone that doesn't need an extended battery and deserves to stay the sexy ***** of a phone that it is (no prego back bump needed ) lol
Sent from my SCH-I605 aka macks jellybeans rom.
I definitely agree with the preggo look lol, but so far it seems like its gonna get through 2 days with heavy usage. I do like how long this battery is lasting, but only time will tell if I decide to fully stay with it.

You really can't compare your use to anyone else's. There are too many variables. It's best to compare with yourself. If you consistently get "35 hours with stock battery" would you get 70 with this one? Does anyone who uses an extended battery double or at least increase their usage considerably with it while maintaining the same usage patterns?

Well said! I did double my usage of two days instead of one through my first full charge (heavy user). I always keep my brightness at 20%, some calls emails, some gaming, constantly syncing, and mp3 player at least 4 hours a day. I kept my usage pattern the same since im mostly using it for work.
Only time will tell how long it'll last and how well it'll perform. For right now im happy with the purchase.

Following up with what I said earlier... Tho I do understand extended batteries can definetly be beneficial to extreme heavy users who are away from any way of charging their phone, im quite impressed with my results on stock battery with plenty more battery to kill b4 I get home from work (even on a 12+ hr shift)

Hello. I come from a Samsung galaxy s3 and so I'm used to that every year or so I'll just change my battery, but here's that's not the case. So I'm asking the previous owners of HTC one and well people who know about batterys, what's the best way to make your battery last the longest as possible?
Sent from my 831C using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
It matters on how much you use the phone. I have a spare charger at work and one in my car. I usually get around 8 to 10 hours on a full charge.
Sent from my 831C using Tapatalk
He means in a year when the battery doesn't hold as long of a charge as it does now.
And the answer is he is kind of screwed but my old htc Evo even after 2 years the battery was pretty good.
Sent from my 831C using xda app-developers app
I regularly have scenarios like this.
- phone is at 27% battery
- few minutes later it beeps and shows 14%
- 30 seconds later - 5%
- few more seconds and it shuts down.
I don't run anything special and through the day it lowers steady (although 100 to 27 in 12 hours is not that great).
I run official 5.0.1 rom and never unlocked bootloader.
So is it a problem with a phone, the battery or just OS that sucks?
Anyone else having the issue?
Sent from my SM-N910T using XDA Free mobile app
Most likely it's the battery. Have you looked to see what is using the battery in settings?

Nothing unusual running. I think Android OS was main battery user, may be with hour and half of screen time.
In this specific instance I was running Toyota app while driving.
But similar things happened before without those factors. And mostly it worked ok in the car as well.

How many hours total on battery do you think?
Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
I took it off charger at 7am and drops started around 6pm. It was going down evenly during this time.

Sorry I forgot that was in your OP. Did you look at the battery to see if it was hot or bulging even slightly? Personally for the $15 it takes to get a new battery, I would. Worst case scenario is you end up with a spare. I don't know how old your device (and this your battery) is, but it's not uncommon after 9+ months for them to start dying.
Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
Yes, it probably makes sense to get new battery. I got the phone last November or December but problem started early summer. Seems pretty short time for battery to go bad.
Thank you

It's not unheard of by any stretch. Heat will kill them fast as well. Does the phone ever get hot?
Sent from my SM-N910T using Tapatalk
I haven't noticed it being hotter than other phones I used. Yet I carry it in external pouch so would not always feel it.
It definitely wasn't hot when battery was dropping.
More over, last time I turned it off for 3 hours at 14% and when turned it on, drop just continued and it was 5% in 30 seconds.

I got not only a new battery but a new phone and have been experiencing a similar problem. Seriously might just jump ship to the N5. Any suggestions on what else to try? I really don't want to shell out $20 for yet another battery if it's not guaranteed to fix anything. I'm running PopRocks v14 with the stock kernel. Any suggestions?
I had the exact same issue. It was from letting the battery die too often. A new battery fixed the issue 100%
Sent from my SM-N910T using XDA Free mobile app
That's true. Running it down to 1% all the time definitely shortens the life. I'll try to find the article I read that interviewed battery scientists.
