So we all know the phone is going up for preorders on the 29th, but that's only the preorder date. If the Nexus 9 is of any indication wouldn't that mean the actual release date will be a month away + the shipping time?
I'm curious too, hopefully someone knows.
With it showing in play store I'd wager it will be sooner than we think. Just a positive guess
I've heard rumors of the release date being November 12th from T-Mobile to November 29th from some guy who works at a UK retailer.
The November 12th date for T-Mobile isn't a rumor, it's on their official news site.

I think it'll be either Nov. 12 to match the retailer release date or maybe even a little sooner to reward play store pre-orderers. I'm hoping for the latter. The sooner my 64GB White Nexus 6 is in my hands the better.

I've been following the shipping thread and clearly many people are annoyed at google for assorted reasons.
I won't go into those here, I personally didn't think they had been terrible (not great) until a post I read yesterday.
It now seems Google have informed Play customers that anyone who pre-ordered a 16GB unit after 30th June will now have to wait until 20th July for shipping.
Yet tons of other retailers are now shipping and selling in store the 16GB units.
So basically we have a situation where Google has accepted pre-orders early July and then knowingly shipped 16GB product to other retailers knowing full well they wouldn't be able to cover Play store pre-orders. That is disgusting to my mind.
I ordered my 16GB on 28 Jun, and haven't heard anything yet....
Check out how screwed Canada is getting. Here is when Google is saying that 16GB units ordered in June are shipping:
US: July 19
UK: July 20
Australia: July 19
Canada: July 24-31 (? 1-2 weeks from July 17)
Meanwhile there are 16GB for sale in multiple stores. I am on the edge of just buying one somewhere else and telling them to shove their useless pre-order.

It's just wrong.
From the start Google should have said Play store preorders will be allowed until say 7th July at which point they stop, they then should have ensured they had enough stock to cover those before sending out to other retailers.
Very obviously if someone pre-orders from Google on the 4th July they should get it sooner or at least the same time as someone else that preorders the same item from another retailer on the 15th July.

It will be the 3rd because that's when the nexus 9 is released so lollipop still be finalized. Also expect a lot of app updates.
Thanks guys, i hope that's the case, i'm so tired and frustrated of this miserable media coverage, Google are terrible at it.
It has to be because the nexus 9 will ship out and it will likely have an OTA to download upon setup . Google can't keep the NDA effective after the ship date unless they plan on changing the N6's software more than what will be on the N9 which again isn't likely.
Yeah I would really like a still solid review if only to know what the battery life is like before spending 700.00.. Guess I will just have to take a leap of faith and deal with the return process if battery life is not on point. My only other concern is the audio quality, but that extensive of review probably wouldn't come until much later from someone like What-HiFi. Either way, Still can't wait to find out! the receipts that people have been getting say 11/21 or 11/26 as the ship date. No reason to really doubt that currently
My order from today says it leaves the warehouse on the 21st. I don't really expect it to ship any sooner than that, though I'd certainly be pleasantly surprised if it did.
Orders show 21/26 of Nov. It's not uncommon for them to ship early but my Nexus Player has been showing the 14th since the day I put the order in and that hasn't budged yet. I have overnight shipping on both so we'll see what happens. Hopefully the both go out a week or so early. Would love to have them in hand before the 12th when I could just walk into my TMO store and grab one.
Like ALL Play Store devices I've bought on the store day 1, it will ship earlier. I'm honestly expecting the people that preordered last week to get shipping labels by end of Friday at the very latest.

Hi All
Does anyone out there have any idea as to when the Nexus 6 will be available in Europe and if the carriers will be selling them too? I am curious as I have heard that it could possibly be as late as End of December which means that for Europe it will be classed as a 2015 device.

Most sites are speculating preorder will be up on late December for Google Play store. For carrier store on the other hand, it wouldn't be available until Spring 2015 at the earliest. Google Play store preorder is only for US, but maybe the motorola store will ship internationally.
Personally, I doubt it is late December, because rarely do consumer products release near Christmas

Yes, Amazon originally said that I was going to have to wait until mid March for delivery and then they notified me on February 12th or 13th that my S21U would be delivered on February 14th, which it was.
