So does this having anything special about it or is just ported from 4.2 cause Google hasn't exactly done any development of Gtalk in quite sometime.
Furthermore we have had this issue before. When you are cross posting someone else's work you need to give them credit where it is due and provide and original thread if possible. Nowhere on this does it say who's work it is. I find that slightly disrespectful.
As stated above, proper credit should be given... I found the quote below over at rootzwiki. After the quote of the OP there I have also submitted the link.

Hey guys,
The Android 4.3 update for the Nexus 4, in my opinion, has majorly improved the touch screen sensitivity of the Nexus 4, therefore I believe this mod is irrelevant. For those who still want to use it, its still here.
Hey guys,
First of all, I would like to say thanks to trter10 who made the original thread for this. Unfortunately, that thread has been abandoned by the OP and forgotten about. Therefore, I have decided to make this thread. In fact, the mod that I made, in my opinion, is much better than the one in that thread.
As many of us, Nexus 4 users, have come to realize, the device's touch screen sensitivity is way below par when it comes to today's day and age. It has been pointed out that this is due to some changes in the latest touch screen driver from Synaptics, E027. An earlier driver, E015, had much better sensitivity and therefore downgrading to it improves touch screen sensitivity significantly.
There are two ways to downgrade the driver. The first way is the easiest but it doesn't work for everybody, such as people (like me) who use custom kernels like Franco Kernel. I don't know why it doesn't work, but that's the way it is.
First Method:
What You Need:
Root - If you don't have it, go to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010312
A custom recovery - If you don't have it, go to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010312
Busybox - If you don't have it, get it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=stericson.busybox
init.d support - If you don't have, go to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1933849
What This Does:
Puts an init.d script in the init.d folder. This script will install the E015 driver on boot.
Places the driver in /system for the script to use.
Instructions:
Extract Method 1.zip.
Boot in to your custom recovery.
Install E015-TouchDriver-Mako.zip
Reboot.
Instructions to Revert:
Boot in to your custom recovery.
Install E015-TouchDriver-Mako-Revert.zip
Reboot.
Notes:
After boot, your touchscreen will be unresponsive for around 30 seconds.
After flashing a ROM, you will need to install this zip again.
I am not responsible for any damage this modification may cause.
Second Method:
What You Need:
Root - If you don't have it, go to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010312
Busybox - If you don't have it, get it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=stericson.busybox
Script Manager - SManager - If you don't have it, get it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=os.tools.scriptmanager
Instructions:
Extract Method 2.zip.
Using any android file explorer, place SynaImage.E015.bin in /sdcard.
Using any android file explorer, place the E015TouchDriverDowngrade script in any location you want on your internal SD card (I placed it in /sdcard/Scripts).
Go into Smanager, navigate to the E015TouchDriverDowngrade script and press on it.
Select the following options: Fav, Su.
Press Run.
The touch screen will be disabled for the next 15-30 seconds.
From now on, on every reboot you need to perform the following steps in order to downgrade the touchscreen driver:
Go into Smanager, click on options -> Scripts -> E015TouchDriverDowngrade -> Run.
Enjoy!
Notes:
After a reboot, your touchscreen will be unresponsive for around 20 seconds because the kernel is reflashing the new touch screen driver (E027).
After selecting Run your touch screen won't work for 15-30 seconds if it does work, the old touch driver is not being flashed.
I am not responsible for any damage this modification may cause.
Enjoy!

@OP what is different about your zip than the original one in the thread below. Does yours work with 4.2.2 and the original does not? Is that the main difference? If so please state that in your OP. Thanks

Well, from 4.2.1 to 4.2.2 they didn't fix it, so probably not.
Works fantastically, thank you!
on aokp build 3 for anyone who's curious.
Will not look back!!
Works as advertised on PA 3.0 (24FEB) I can finally type a message in portrait without it making me feel like I have no clue how to type. I would consistently hit letters and they would not register, just did a test and tapped a whole paragraph with not one error. Thank you very much.
Re: [MOD] Improve Touch Screen Sensitivity
Thanks for this! Going to install this now and try if the delay is shorter. The previous one was annoying that I disabled.
Beamed from my very paranoid and harsh Nexus⁴
Got rid of the 30 second delay being a known issue since it's part of the mod and is mentioned in notes.
I will be away for a week so I won't be able to support the thread for that time, happy flashing!

When you boot into recovery just wait a minute for the touch screen to start responding then carry on as normal.
Whats happening is the touch driver is being reflahed back to 027 one.

Hi guys, i'm back bringing you this time a tutorial for enabling hidden features in V20x ROM's.The features enabled are: 3 hidden buttons in the statusbar and the "multitasking" menu, also known as QSlide Apps (?).
Remember, It only works on Stock ROM's, A.K.A. v20x.
Let's start, shall we?
0. Unlock the bootloader, root the device and install Xposed Framework. Duh.
1. After you install Xposed, open Xposed Installer and search for the module named "OptimusToolbox".
2. Install it, open the module interface and go to "StatusBarTweak"
3. Tick all dem checkboxes
4. Tap the back button and then tap on "Restart SystemUI"
5. Profit. Now swipe down the status bar and you will find 3 extra buttons and the QSlide apps thing.
Cheers.
P. S. BUG DISCOVERED: Dont tap on Calendar app or it will crash your SystemUI.
Been playing with stock for some time to search this, thanks
You welcome. Btw, i have an upcoming guide on having the most stable and lag-free (at least during my tests) Stock ROM experience.

Sleshepic Presents
Sow Nice Rom
Based off of Sammobile OI1 and OJ7 Release for
For TMO SM-G920T
This Rom is Built off of the Official Release tar of OI1 and OJ7 from Sammobile. I just recently got the S6 and wanted to make my own rom for it to Run as I have always done, but with a few changes to the norm this time. I use to debloat more, but have left more functionality in this Rom that I found useful(fingerprint, SVoice), so it is only partially debloated(see pic in 2nd post for what will be in app drawer, a GOOD bit was still removed). I have made it close to stock for those that like that feel, stable, fast and functional, but added what I see as some necessary mods for Android. Updates will come as I can get to it. Enjoy!
FEATURES-Rooted
-Deodexed
-Busybox / init.d
-Knox Removed
-Remapped Menu and Home Button
-Recents is now MENU, and Long Press Home is RECENTS. This is the way it used to be and I like it this way. No searching for a settings icon, hit the bottom left "Recents" capacative, and if there's a settings menu in the app you're in, it'll pop up simple changes to make life easier - SECOND POST FOR REVERT ZIP TO CHANGE BACK TO STOCK
(I personally set Apex so that long press of Menu/Recents is Search too, works great)
-Native Hotspot enabled (thx crawrj and TDunham!)
-Extended Reboot Menu
-Private Mode Working
-Working Wifi Calling and Hangouts
-SFinder and Qconnect removed from pulldown
-Updated apps
-Center Clock
-Partially Debloated - (Bloat Package Upcoming)
-Unikernel Included - Thanks g.lewarne !
-Apex Launcher included
-Performance and Battery life tweaks
-csc edits
-My Original Custom Notifications and Tones (if you have an old school Nintendo etc theme song you think would be a good cut/remix, I'm up for suggestions...Not Castlevania!)
-and More...
THANKS TO:
-Sammobile - for Stock release Tar
-JustArchi and SuperR - for their kitchens
-Garwynn - for lots of stuff over time. thank him!
-Rwilco12 and AndroidFileHost
-Kmokhtar79 for Reboot Menu and his work on Mods!
-G.lewarne for UniKernel!
-TDunham - If you're running a Samsung phone with mods, you probably should thank TD
-ChainFire - for SuperSU! and lot's of stuff
-KachowPow - for bootanimation
-Stangdriver44 and The Sickness, for letting me bounce a few dumb questions off them as I got used to the TMO side of the S6
INSTRUCTIONS
-Download Rom Zip on Computer and then transfer to internal sdcard on phone
-Reboot to Recovery. A Custom Recovery is Required for this flash, like TWRP and you must be on a 5.1.1 bootloader. Modems and bootloaders can be found in General, if you want to be able to downgrade stick with OH6(if not already on a compat BL, there are more than listed here) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3213001 thx serio22
-Make a backup of current setup. Always have a working backup before proceeding with any ROM flashing.
-Perform a Full Wipe. Wipe Data, format /system, wipe cache partition, and wipe dalvik cache
-Flash Rom from location on sdcard.
-Reboot. helps to let sit for a moment after booting, then after phone is setup let sit for bit too to sync etc

Nice to have you here bro........Now maybe you can get the natives off of my back...............
Good work bro! Welcome to the party! Glad to see another themer join me here!
You going to busy out some themes for us?
Do you use the overlay apk's or are you old skool like me?
You should run my OZOP zip on your rom! It's a universal zip tool, with some extras.
The OZOP is really meant to be an "all-in-one" tool or "One Zip One Place"
Install your rom then flash my zip to debloat, change the kernel, launcher, camera, add some key apps or ViPER4Android audio! Change the boot/shutdown Animations, theme TWRP or even change the boot splash screen. In the "Themes and apps" International forum you can find OZOP_ROMless, it has all those features I just mentioned.
If you find my post out of line or inappropriate, let me know and I'll delete it.
Just thought you and your user could benefit from the tools available in the zip.
Been working together with @The Sickness for a while now, sharing as much universal stuff as we can. He a great dev and a good guy to be friends with. He's got your back!
Anyways welcome and im here with you as well!
Also, sorry didn't get back sooner about the hangouts things! Sounds like you got it worked out though. Good work and have a great day!

For sure bro!
It's there's always a curve when adjusting to something new. The switch to material from holo is still killing me! I can't stand the "Stock" material.light and getting the system fully inverted involves a lot of trail and error.
As for "qmg's", the attached apk will convert qmg's to pig's right on your phone. Works great. Then I'm sure you got it from there. Then they have the qmg bootanimation! Got that figured out as well, the "OZOP_ROMless" zip or even my "enable custom zip bootanimation" from themes and apps has the files for system/bin are in the "enable" folder. Feel free to grab them for use if you choose.
Zips boots are more common with a lot more options to choose from as well as being much easier to modify or create new ones.
Good luck with your project.
Also feel free to grab what you need from any of my roms....
I am so excited to try this ROM! Thanks for all of your hard work!

Loving the rom. Whenever I swipe down on a notification from lock screen it just goes to the blank background and sits for a second. Any known way to correct this? Thanks!
Where did you get the boot animation? I like it! This ROM is very responsive after the first boot. Nice work.
Did you remove the Samsung account? I am trying to use the theme manager but it keeps saying that the Samsung account ins missing and I can't find it. Thanks!

Yes, i removed them as i have never used either, they are in bloat package. I've been crazy busy but will try to get them up asap. It wont be aroma but you will be able to delete what you dont want and flash in recovery
Bloat Package is uploading now.
I wouldn't flash the whole thing unless you really want it all though!

@edgarf28 made an excellent break down of the bloat in his Add-On Aroma package.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=61001703
One can DL that and simply open with 7Zip or similar and go to /add ons and see what each apk needs(for reference), alot of the time there are more than one. They are all things I never will use so I do not have the time to split up in an Aroma package, but all are included in Bloat zip and can be modified within the zip and then flashed in Recovery. Wipe Cache and Dalvik Cache only prior to flashing Bloat Zip.

Its gonna be faster to do what i mention directly above your post than wait til im back at my comp to look. Just download his add on package and look in add ons, the folders will tell you what is needed for what. I wont be able to tell people what is used for what because for 3 years I've always torn this crap out
I dont want this turning into a what is what bloat thread, I mention exactly how to find out what is what directly above, take about 5 minutes to download then every answer about bloat is answered.
Just get the add on package onto your phone then just use a file Explorer (i use rom toolbox pro) to open up zip and see what folder has what in add ons, for reference, then modify the OI1 bloat zip accordingly and flash
This my first ROM for this device. Hope you enjoy. It is a stock based ROM based on T210 firmware with added features. Works for both T210 and T210R. Keep checking back, this ROM is ever-evolving and constantly being updated.
***Note***
With the 210R kernel you will gain the IR, but lose Vibrate sound profile option. (In notifications pulldown and power menu.)

Thanks. I was looking for something to breath some life in to this old tablet. I installed it and so far its going well. I like the voice notifications.
rom works well and is fast. is there a way to turn off voice notifications?
Yes. It's not actually voice notifications... I changed the lock, unlock, and boot sound. I think the lock and unlock ones only work when it is on swipe. If you use a pattern or pin I don't think it does. You can turn off lock sounds in settings or use root browser and navigate to /system/media/audio/ui/ there you will see the lock, unlock, and power on. (Lock_none_effect.ogg, PowerOn.ogg, and Unlock_none_effect.ogg) You can either delete them or rename them. You will also see the original sounds, I renamed them with .bak at the end so if you want the stock sounds back delete the others then rename the files ending in .bak. All you have to do is delete the .bak off of the name.
Also, these files I used are not in any special format, I simply downloaded them from Zedge and used Root Browser to rename them. They are actually mp3 files renamed to ogg. You can change them to whatever you want, just make sure you rename it exactly how the original was named and change permissions of the files to 0644 before you reboot. It is 3 checks down the first column and just the top check of the middle column. Leave the rest unchecked.
Let's try this.
Maybe it will bring new life to my kids tablet.

Just download the zip and install with TWRP. It will install a system.img and a boot.img.

Great rom, thanks for your work!
Happy to see some development for this tablet again! I will try this out some day
*Edit: Can't you add like a way to switch between a few different themes, like in the systemUI folder, you could have the other themes but with another ending (like Icon1.IconTheme) and then it would rename itself to the file that it's overwriting
Awesome work

@RealWelder you don't know how much your ROM has improved my wife's T210.

No problem. I appreciate the kind words. I was late to the party...only got this thing about 6 months ago...really cheap from a friend. As long as I have it I will keep modding it, though. At least until I can port something else like MIUI ROM or something.

Yes, It is set up to install a raw boot.img and a raw system.img, so no need to wipe data. Just cache and dalvik.

@RealWelder Any plans to introduce your own OTA updates system into settings?
There is absolutely no problem with downloading and flashing an update but just for convenience so to say
