Verizon - high cell standby - X 2014 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I received my new Moto X (2014 version) a few days ago. I'm living in Manhattan, so we're pretty much blanketed with 4G. I'm normally around 3-4 bars in my office, but I've noticed that my Cell Standby in my battery stats has been anywhere between 20-30%; generally 0% time with out a signal. Any ideas? That seems pretty high to me. Should I try a factory reset? Would changing the mobile network from Global to LTE/CDMA help at all?

I'm getting the same. Is this normal?

your battery seems over, but did you know that if you keep turning your device on/off several times, it will drain energy 2x faster ? same thing if you switch into airplane mod too much times. this is due to the searching of networks, because this step uses the highest resources at the maximum range. so this is only effective during long period or while traveling because moving solicits a lot of resources, just like when using gps... but even when it's off, it needs energy for date/time.
and these stats are only valuable for the ON time I think.
when you don't use your phone, just put it into 2G mode. I bet you'll see a lower drain if your battery is still good

[Q] 4.2.2 Battery Drain

Hey guys,
I recently updated to 4.2.2 and the battery drain is shocking. The phone is active for 4+ hours before I even turn my phone on. Take it off charge and it's down to 98% instantly and drops really quick.
I did a factory reset immediately after updating
Any ideas why the Lockscreen/no lockscreen is killing my phone?
Is it ROM flashing time?

Q: Verizon hidden menu battery drain

What's going on. So I just got my G2 and I'm still slowly learning the tips and tricks to the phone and how to conserve battery life. It's doing pretty good so far but according to my battery stats, I'm getting a high battery drain from the Verizon hidden menu. I just rooted and flashed the stock deploated rom last night and I know I may need to let the battery settle. Anyone else experience this?

Lost 30% overnight?! Normal?

So I lost 30% battery overnight. Kinda crazy. But I'm rooted and have greenify installed but apparently Mt standby time is still awful. I'm on ATT. Anything I can do?

Did you flash Cleanrom? If not, do it. I have seen way better battery life after switching.

Severe battery drain when idle (5.8%/hr)

I'm on a T-Mobile note 5 using Extreme Debloated 2.8 with the latest SkyHigh kernel
I used to get close to 2 days of idle time on my phone now I'm barely hitting 12 hours.
Here's some screenshots of my usage and wake locks. The weird one is WiFi Running always at 100% even though I disabled the option to scan WiFi even with the phone off. However plugging in the phone seems to stop it.
Anyone have similar issues? Could use some advice. I know it's not Tinder because I don't ever get matches!
