Is there any way to empty the trash folder in the CM 10.2.1 email app? I don't see that option in the settings.

Indeed, there doesn't seem to be any way to do so..
There are workarounds like:
Deleting app data and re-downloading all mail from the server, which could be a bit chaotic if all mail is being left on the server.
Using a different app that allows that do be done.

Just today with my rooted but otherwise stock Captivate I am getting a log in screen for the default Yahoo home page.
Anyone else having this issue?
I guess I can just change my home page.
Are you on wifi or at&t service?

On AT&T. Haven't checked Wifi. Currently not on.
Do you have a login? Because my theory is that it wants to bring you somewhere other than under homepage.

I never needed a log in before. It just pulled up the ATT/Yahoo page. I did sideload an app recently, though I don't know how that would affect the default homepage login.
What app did you sideload?

It was a very simple app my brother-in-law developed for me. It just takes a couple of variables and calculates something involving an arctangent and displays it.
If you allowed it to access three internet, it might mess with the settings. Try uninstalling the app and see if that does anything, or, just change your homescreen to google or something lol.

Sounds like it's a vibrant ROM thing... you get the t-mobile/yahoo page as default.
Too strange though.

Yeah I will uninstall it to see. Can't imagine that it accesses the net, but my B-in-law is just getting his feet wet with Android programming.
<pause> Uninstalled it and still get log in screen. I will reboot.
<pause> Rebooted -- same problem. Guess I'll just pick a different homepage.

No issues using App Settings here. I also used Rom Toolbox to change the DPI in build.prop without issues in Exchange and Gmail.

Is the Magazine app part of another app cluster? Is it one of those Samsung Store apps they're putting on the phones now? I'm assuming it's one of the many bloatware apps that came stock, but I looked through my first backup I did before deleting all the BS apps, and I didn't see a "magazine" app.
I bought an app on the nook store before I rooted my Nook to Cyanogenmod. I installed the Nook store for Android but it doesn't show my app there to redownload. Is there a way to do this? It was a paid app and I'd rather not buy the app again if I don't have to.

Nope, the Android Nook app is just an ereader, with access to purchased books, but not apps. You could go back to stock, root it, download the app and save it for sideloading to CM. That will work to get the app, but it may not run on CM.

Thanks again!
My wife's HD+ has been running 10.2.1 for several months. It just started randomly rebooting, typically while she's surfing the web using Chrome. My HD, also running 10.2.1, is very stable. Thoughts or suggestions?

The HD+ seems to be more susceptible to lag problems than the HD. Try running trim manually. Also try reducing the amount of media files stored internally.

What do you recommended? Lagfix or ?? Very few media files are stored internally. Most are on the external SD card.

You can try the app lagfix or use terminal emulator to type the commands manually. Unfortunately I don't remember the manual commands. You can either search or maybe someone will chime in.

I noticed that you can choose your Google account in each bookmark you have in the stock browser, but where are they stored when you choose you, Google account?
I can't seem to find them online anywhere.

I use chrome for my pc and tablets and I just edit them on my pc. I just go to bookmarks and it transfers to my tablets.
