Hey guys,
I was wondering if there are any ROMs on here that support USB OTG?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

As far as now,no. It's a kernel feature. But we're working on getting it implemented.
Pac rom has a kernel that supports otg but the main os dosent have support

no. IT ACTUALLY SUPPORTS USB OTG. dont blame me if you are a supid idiot and cant find a ICS OR JB rom , flash it , buy a cable , a mouse and test it. YOU ARE AN IDIOT BECAUSE you think this works on standard ROM. NO IT DOESENT WORK
Not Support ...
Most of the phone is already
USB OTG support is Mobile
Mid-End that cost starts
of Rp 250$
It could be said only 1 Mobile Mid-
End that cost under 2.5
Million that support the USB OTG
Sony Ericsson Live Walkman
costs Rp 200$
i dont want to be rude but you dont have an ICS or JB rom on a galaxy mini to test it.
the usb is working on galaxy s2 and the galaxy s2 battery have the same voltage of the galaxy mini battery so it shoud work on the mini and if it didnt work on the mini its a ROM problem

hello I dont want to be rude to anybody here but USB OTG or USB host mode is not possible without hardware modifications to the board its not entirely software based also jb and ics have no special support for usb otg over gb so thats a baseless claim only thing different(connections based) is that wifi direct has native support ics onwards think you confused the two...:good:
PS next time try and be cordial and nice writing in CAPS means you are really just shouting and thats not really good manners.
Good day,
Dark Passenger.
PPS i wont be following this thread so if anyone wants to abuse or insult me please dont bother spamming this thread Thank you.

It was hard to ask that question on Omega kernel thread?
If you read it, you would know that somebody else tried it and it is not working.

It should be like you put in USB port of your computer. It shows like another partition in phone beside internal and external SD memory.

First of all I think that these drives meant for otg. Coz noreason for them to be here in "storage"....in phone memory.
Secondly if our phone does not have a hardware compatible with otg why to even try to port this feature to advance.

Nobody is sure whether our phone is hardware compatible for OTG or not. At the moment SGSA is not powering up the connected device. It might be also because of the code also.

After to much research, I think only Sony and Samsung can read OTG.
It was very good if our machine can read OTG.
I will wait impatiently for Pengus to get it.
Thanks for the reply.
