When I'm switching between apps sometimes the recent app window closes itself and the recent app button doesn't respond for a while. Anyone else is getting this problem?
I also have exactly same problem didn't find any solution yet.

Found the app that was causing this behavior. In my case ir was "Smart app lock". After uninstalling everything was normal.

Anyone else having a problem with the Contacts app not closing? When opened Back won't let you exit it, and I have to launch task manager to kill End it.
Me too...since jpy....also internet has always done this too....any reason?

Yeah forgot about that too. Some other apps do this as well such as TD's app. I was assuming it was just either poor programming or the app stays running to launch it faster next time and or save your space. This I don't believe is the case for Contacts though.
Hi its a new task manager bug if you can rollback to ver 1.5 problem will disappear.
Anyone else have any solutions since I don't know how to rollback the version?
Is anyone else having the issue of the Google search app force closing non stop. It continuously pops up and says force close all throughout the day and I can't seem to fix the issue without disabling the app which obviously don't want to do because like myself I'm sure we all use it as a great tool. Thanks for your input and feedback. This is the only device I've had this issue with.

I'm experiencing a wierd issue/non issue.
every now and the when I exit an app I get a pop up notification saying that "contacts force closed"
Or "contacts failed" one of those 2. I usually look past it, it doesn't seem to be effecting anything just kind of annoying.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Yo guys I have an unusual case of the Google search bar missing from the recents menu on my nexus 6. I'm on 6.0.1 right now but I have had this problem since marshmallow. I've dealt with this before on lollipop and fixed it by going into safe mode and clearing cache and stuff but it doesn't work in this case. The curious thing is that sometimes system UI will crash while I'm using the phone which afterwords the search bar does appear in recents! It'll stay like this until I boot does anyone know what's going on.
Its a known marshmallow issue with all nexus devices. You'll probably be hard pressed to find a solution due to the search bar not being used much, to the point where custom roms include options to disable it.

i had a same problem. for me there were two apps which were causing this problem. UC Browser and Greenify.
if are using any of these apps, freeze(if you are planning to use it) and reboot or uninstall

nice.. i have uc browser because of the video playback capability
so then, this is the cause on why im missing my search bar on recents then...

I do use greenify. I froze it with TB and rebooted but I'm still having the same problem. Do you think there could be other apps causing the problem as well?

then may be there is another app that is causing problem. for me it was greenify and uc browser.For you there may be other than these two app.
here what i did to find causing app.
1) froze all app and reboot
2) unfroze one app and reboot
3) did 2nd step until i found my problem causing app.
you can try above steps to find.

Hi,
There are no errors. This is not about apps crashing, nor messages with "OK" & "Report". The apps just disappear off the screen. They just close, instantly.
I know that in MM, Uninstalling the Updates to the "WebView" app seems to fix the problem, but I don't see anything like that when viewing "All Apps".
Does anybody know how to fix this problem, PLEASE??? It is VERY annoying!!! I do not want to go up to MM. I tried it and don't want it.
