if all else fails, just reflash the stock firmware.

Here's the stock Bootanimation file. What else did you mess with?

Stuck on main logo screen

Well I did it now... Okay so I thought I did a nandroid backup. Went ahead into clockwork and did a restore. But no restore! Now it's just stuck on the main bootup screen with the samsung logo displaying. I can get into the download mode. But when I hold volume up and power I get nothing. Can someone please tell me how to fix this? I have a verizon tab and I am still using the stock rom. Thank you
Okay. Found a fix for my problem here ------> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=967175 Hoping this might help some of you that are in the same boat that I was. Glad that scare is over. Let's see what other trouble I can get into now.

[Q] bootloop after adding bootanimation

i installed stock JVR ROM
deodexed it
everything is wonderful till i change the boot animation
boot animation works and it still work till screen go black,, when u press home button the screen shows boot animation still working
any idea why is that and how to fix it ?
You could reflash the ROM. Or if you can connect it to your computer in debugging mode you should be able to just delete the custom boot animation and it will default back to the stock one.
As for why it's happening I'm not sure, maybe the animation you're using isn't made correctly. Try with a different one.

Tsunami X Rom stuck at bootloop for out of nowhere. ASAP

So I was texting with my friend and charging my phone and suddenly, it froze. After like 1 minute it turned off. So I tried to turn it on again, but it seems that it's stuck on boot process. Semaphore kernel logo, and reboots it self. And again, again and again...
I wouldn't ask your help if the CWM recovery was working. So yeah, after this it doesn't work... But the download mode works.
Any advice? Thanks

[XT1053] Updated Boot Animation causing Boot Loop

Hey guys,
I was using my phone today and decided to turn it off. I am currently on 5.1 and I am rooted on stock. When I turned it back on, I was kind of stuck on a boot loop but I can usually bypass this by holding down the power button until I feel a quick vibrate and then my phone starts doing the "Optimizing Apps...". However, it didn't do that this time so I decided to reboot my phone into recovery, wipe the cache and dalvik and restart. Again, stuck on the boot animation screen. So I just let it run its course and then all of a sudden I see my phone go to the home screen but my launcher is reset and I am running out of cache space. I decide to connect my phone to my computer and backup some files. As I backup the last of my DCIM folder, my phone reboots and all of a sudden I have the new Motorola boot animation with the stitching I guess. But then I'm stuck at the bootloop again.
Anyone else experience this or know how I can fix this? I reaaallly don't want to factory reset.
I recently did a reset via settings on a gen 1. No change in boot animation. I then did a reset via stock recovery and got the new animation. I then did another reset via settings and during the first boot it had the old animation but subsequent boots have the new animation.
