My bad man! Yea I saw it after I posted the fhread already! Mods pls move! Thank you!
I'm using the Galaxy S5 stock boot animation and it looks great. It's identical to the Note 4 animation AFAIK.

I recommend you try Dynamic Kat 1.2 custom Rom. It has 6 or 8 boot animations to pick from. Also, highly tweaked and optimized. You won't regret it.

I just pulled the stock Note 4 boot animation out of one of the international Note 4 ROMs, so this discussion is now moot.
The startup and shutdown loops play a little faster than the S5 version, guess because it doesn't have to upscale it.

Awesome! Gonna check this out! Thanks man!
Btw, is this a flashable zip or just a replacement for the stock bootanimation?

At work now so don't have them here, grab them from /system/audio/ui (PowerOn.ogg, PowerOff.ogg) in one of the international Note 4 ROMs.

COOL, so with the zip file from the first post I just install using CWM and I am good to go. Will it replace the boot image I have on there that replaced the AT&T LOGO?? Or, does it appear before or after it? Either way, thanks!!

No it would remove the at&t logo, and you need to use root explorer and go to system then media and pasted there.
There's a boot animation that was default on an old custom GB MIUI rom for the nexus s a while back. It consisted of a black background with layers of white ring segments successively appearing. It looks a bit futuristic and the ring segments rotate and also pulsate.
I have been looking for a while now but to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

Great stuff, thanks a lot for this. Would it be possible to add more languages? I'd love to have the Dutch language pack included and as far as I can tell the original Note Mobile supports it.
Edit: nevermind. I've found a language pack in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1426975 and it works like a charm.

No, just paste the bootanimation.zip to /system/media folder and overwrite it. Then reboot your device and see the awesomeness
Here is a fluid and smooth bootanimation pulled directly from the new Nexus 5 android Marshmallow preview !
Just put it in System/media and make sure the permissions are set to 0644, and you're all set with this beautiful and colorful animation!
