Loud volume warning - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone know how to disable the loud volume warning pop-up that appears when you are listening to music on headset and increase the volume to MAX? I tried Xposed Wanam setting to disable but it does not seem to work with the Note 4.

Hello, how did you do this or get it? I am new to android and I fully want to disable this warning as you guys have. I appreciate the input.

@ICregular It is a module for the Xposed Framework which you would need to install. You have to be rooted or you can flash a ROM which already had it included. I use Dynamic Kat ROM which already has it. Once you have Xposed Framework, you just search for the module in the list as shown in the screenshot that was attached.

It still doesn't work for me. On T-Mobile Galaxy Note4 running Tekxodus rv5 rom

Check the PopRocks thread. I believe there is a zip there you can download and flash to remove the warning.

I tried an app called "disable increasing ring" off the Android app market. Seems to work well

[HELP!]Skinning Power Control Widget

I've been trying to do this on my own, but get FC when I try to go into Settings or into the list of widgets.
Then I tried grabbing a Settings.apk from a theme that is 3.9.2 compatible, and still get the FC.
Anyone have a clue how to do it?
I'm using Cyan 3.9.2 with Oreo Theme v30

Has anyone even been able to successfully skin it yet? It is Donut, which could be why.
It's definitely possible. SHould be in settings>res>drawable. Careful there are .9pngs in there though.

Sound setting

Where is the setting for the sound when you plug in and unplug the phone?
You mean, that 'Plug n Pop' feature which allows you to quickly switch between apps that output audio ?
Then it's here,
Settings-->Accessory
Check the screenshots for more info.

Try this

i never had a problem here, but all you need to do is adjust the sliders. Another quirk this phones has is, that you need to turn up the 'Call' volume to be able to listen to some system sounds. That's about all I have discovered.
I've seen those settings as well, but nothing points toward the plug in/unplug (USB) sound. Thanks for your reply!
Well, the sound seems to be "LG_Cable_Connect.ogg" in /system/media/audio/ui.
If you have root, you can rename it. If the file is missing it seems to work fine as silent with no alert.
But you could also rename and replace that file with another sound using that original name - such as
ia700401.us.archive.org/14/items/SilentRingtone/silence.ogg
or any other media file you like.
I don't know where that vibration setting is, though!

Thanks! I did find that sound, but there is a second sound that is played. I changed it before, but for the life of me I can't remember how I did it!
OK, I finally figured out what I did. I got to the plug-in/unplug setting in the Exposed module Gravity Box, in the Power Tweaks menu.

Be careful when increasing the strength tho, keep it at a safe percentage, as too high may damage your device.

You can use Media Utilities for downloading the song's coverart and Tasker to set the Lockscreen wallpaper with the coverart. The trigger event is the new song played notification (use autonotification to intercept it).
It works on my S7 edge.

You're welcome. It's a cool apk that uses almost no power.
This is one reason you buy Samsung, customization. Hundreds of free themes and icon packs too. The stock launcher is faster, more stable and efficient than any of the 3rd party ones... plus very customizable.
iPhones are such plain Jane's
Yes, you are right. Anyway, I solve most of the customization with gravitybox and firefds modules, since I have root.
A little plus information for EU users: The Good Luck app is not available in the Galaxy Store due to region restrictions.
If you still install the apk from elsewhere (eg. apkmirror), it will display an error message after start.
The solution: install a free vpn app (eg. protonvpn), remove the sim card from your phone, force shutdown and delete data + clear cache in the galaxy store app (+ and if you have already installed it in the Good Luck app), set up a vpn connection via wifi to make the connection target US.
Launch the Galaxy Store and now you can find Good Luck and use it!
