Fingerprint Scanner Lock/Unlock Sounds - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 5

I have had a lot of difficulty changing the lock/unlock sound for the fingerprint scanner.
I went and changed my settings to swipe and was able to configure my favorite if the three sounds which is none. None sounds like a nice door unlock kind of sound. Then when I change the lock setting back to fingerprint it changes to that water drop noise. Whenever i hear that noise It makes me have to pee. Can anyone help me with this?

Advanced Vibrating Control?

Hey,
I'm deaf and I find the limited way the vibrator is... annoying.
For example:
Alarm - Only rings a couple times at first, and that's all.
I have no idea how, but sometimes it won't vibrate at all when the sound is not turned off.
If there's a way I can put in different vibration lengths and patters (or strength?) it would be cool...
Somehow I feel like I'm expecting too much for a software/tweak to exist for that?
Sounds a bit spesific I think, but I'm sure you can find someone here to make it for you.
Shouldn't be any harder making this than it is to make the software that let's you use the LED as a super bright flashlight.
try vAlert?

Screen Lock when receiving a Call

Hey!
Am I the only person who finds it horribly annoying that when receiving a call the screen lock is that ugly green/red slider?
It feels so different than everything else on my phone. I realize that they're trying to make it obvious that you're answering a call, but that doesn't make it any less ugly!
Any options to fix that?

[Q] change the vibration pattern on Moto X

Hey guys,
I love the X but in my mind there is a big problem with this phone. The strength of the vibration. I searched the whole forum and it seems that there is still no solution to adjust the strength of it.
Maybe a custom rom could work but i want to keep the stock.
I now had the idea of “replacing” the standard vibration with the one that applies, when you shake your phone to enable the camera mode. In my opinion it has a very smooth feeling, is strong enough to feel in your pocket without making this rattle and noisy sound.
Is it possible to extract the corresponding code that tells the phone how it should vibrate when the camera is activated and exchange the normal vibration behavior with it, when I get a notification.
Or am I off the track with this idea that the vibration function is controlled by a simple code line?
I looked to see if I could find that vibrate pattern somewhere and emulate it with Tasker, because like you said, it feels very smooth and gradual, instead of the violent feel of the "normal" one.
In Tasker you can specify the pattern for vibration in an OFF/ON/OFF/ON/etc sequence. I played with it for a little while one day but didn't get very far. I tried a few different on and off times to see what felt similar but couldn't pin it down.
I did poke around in the system for files related to the camera to see if there was any files specifying how to make it vibrate, but I didn't have any luck there either.
For what it's worth, I use Tasker to vibrate my phone when I get a new SMS and my screen is off. I use a shorter vibration than the standard SMS one, but still do two pulses.

Screen Timeout During Calls (speakerphone/bluetooth/headphones)

I use the phone a lot handsfree for work and it bugs me when the screen times out and locks on a handsfree call. I can't then easily mute, unmute, look at call durations, enter digits etc. without interacting with the phone in a clunky manner.
As an example i might be on a long conference call on speakerphone, mute my audio input to get up and walk around a little and then have to quickly unmute. To do this i have to press the side volume button and then the on screen unmute which sounds easy but can make for an awkward second or so of silence.
Basically i want the screen to stay on when in call and the proximity sensor detects it's not against my face.
Samsung has a phone app option for this i remember (keep screen on during calls).
Any suggestions ?

Use a bluetooth earpiece/headset and add that as a trusted device. All the time it is on and connected the phone won't lock. Then just set screen sleep to something more appropriate like 5 minutes..
you could try something like this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ndtsoft.sensor&hl=en
i haven't tried it, but i think it could solve your problem
EDIT: i just tried an app called "WaveUP" and it did the trick. also has a lot of other cool features, as well.

Force Stereo in landscape mode...?

I know that the P30 uses harmonic vibration through the screen to generate the sound for the earpiece speaker, but I'm wondering if there might be a way to enable and potentially force stereo mode?
The volume is quite loud on the earpiece speaker system, so it would be beneficial if it could be enabled...
This might be really great feature - even if phone would be vibrating a bit I would like having this. Ofc as optional feature with toggle button in quick access panel.
Hope this feature request might get it's way to the Huawei.
