Go to this site it has the firmware for your version. The stock recovery is in the firmware.zip. You can extract it, it's named recovery.img.

If you read the entire OP you will find the firmware as a separate download!

FYI, the only way you can dump the stock recovery require s-off so you can downgrade hboot to 1.44 and use "fastboot boot recovery.img" to boot a custom recovery and then pull your stock recovery using dd commands from an adb shell of custom recovery.
example here:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54167697&postcount=1095
note that sprint variant doesn't use the same partition table and that recovery is in mmcblk0p36 not p34

I think i read your post regarding the same yesterday.
you did not that you have a custom recovery installed...
in this case you will not be able to flash the ruu as you are required to be stock with s-on
head over to arhd thread to get the closest experience to the stock rom.
download the arhd rom, flash in recovery

But I remember that I've did this before and reinstalled a stock ROM using RUU exe file, can't I do this now?
Does WWE ROM have Arabic language?
I am very depressed because of this problem, I want to have official HTC ICS ROM.

In order to install the ICS OTA after it has been downloaded, you will need to restore the stock HTC recovery and then relock your bootloader.

thanks tpbklake, i could relock the bootloader but I don't know how to have the HTC Recovery back instead of the current one, any guide to do this?
am quoting tpbklake here, listen to him, he's the best around here
Grab a RUU and extract the recovery.img file from the ROM.zip. Then flash the recovery image in FASTBOOT USB mode using
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img

Did you already relock the bootloader? You need to flash the stock recovery first, then relock the bootloader.
Did you extract the recovery.img file from the PG32IMG.zip file or are you just trying to have the bootloader flash the PG32IMG.zip?
The signature checking failure leads me to believe that the bootloader is locked/relocked.

How did you end up flashing the recovery? Did you use the PG32IMG.zip and copy it to your sd card or did you extract the recovery.img file and manually flash it?
If you used the PG32IMG.zip file then that probably changed the mainver value and that's why the OTA is not running.
Well guess what, my device is now crashed !, it is stock at the green HTC logo, I can not access anything except for the bootloader !.
i've installed the Android Revolution HD but it didn't work as well, my device is now in mess.

You never did answer my question about how you flashed the HTC stock recovery.
Anyway, If you unlocked your bootloader and reinstalled a custom Recovery and then attempted to install ARHD, did you manually extract and flash the boot.img file in FASTBOOT USB mode?
That may be all you need to do to get the phone booted.

[Q] Relocking/returning to stock recovery/boot without RUU

Hi. I unlocked and rooted my M7 and I'd like to return to stock recovery/boot for the OTA. The problem is after searching for a while only method I could find is with RUU but there seems to be no RUU file for my 1.29.401.17 rom.
I havent changed CID and my boot displays: S-ON, TAMPERED, UNLOCKED.
My recovery is: Team Win Recovery 2.5.0.0.
Any ideas how I can go back to stock recovery/boot without RUU?

Thank you. Is this the file I should use:
OTA_M7_UL_JB_50_HTC_Europe_1.29.401.12-1.28.401.7_release_315849_signedp7vl8dqsvls0h1t0.zip

[Q] HELP: Messed up my kernel and boot.img

I know, two very bad mistakes. I was excited. First thing I did wrong was install a GE kernel when I should have installed a sense one..then I used fast boot to write TWRP to my boot image by accident instead of recovery. I tried to update RUU using fastboot, but I keep getting errors. I cant mount my internal storage, can't side load either.
Whenever I reboot, I boot into TWRP instead of system now. I probably have to restore, but not being able to RUU or side load, I dont know what to do. Please help!

Just boot into fastboot and flash a new boot.img which matches your ROM
Thanks! But where do I get a boot.img file? I tried looking but couldn't find one. I could just find ZIP ROMs and RUUs

Yes. You also should flash stock recovery before you flash the RUU, just to make sure everything goes right.

The RUU flashes the stock recovery so you don't need this. You don't even need the boot.img if you're going to flash an RUU. Just connect the phone in fastboot mode and then run the RUU. So long as you're S-OFF it should run fine
Your phone doesn't need a kernel to boot to recovery or fastboot, recovery has its own kernel built in... Just goto fastboot and flash a new boot.img
Fastboot flash boot boot.img
Hboot_signedbyaa.img isn't a boot.img it's a hboot

Hi mate, in your signature I red OS 2.24.4018 / HBoot 1.54.0000 and now "tadaaaa" S-OFF and so on.
How did you do that? I've damaged my brain and gnawn down my nails but nothing works ....
Have you installed the 1.54.0000 on top of the 1.44.0000 (unlocked + S-OFF) and your HBOOT is still unlocked and S-OFF?
Or are u using the black&beauty ONE?
Then ou are a lucky man I guess.
God bless you.
I was S-OFF on 1.44 and then did the OTA so I kept S-OFF - sorry to get your hopes up!

Yes, unlock your bootloader from HTCdev.com.
Assuming you are still s off,you just need to pack up your recovery image into a zip file with an android info text document. This type of file is easily installed via fastboot and ruu mode.
The easiest way to make this file is to take another file, like the firmware file from an OTApkg or an ruu. Extract it,and delete everything but the android info text file. Insert your recovery image. Rezip.
Alternately, you could always re-unlock the old fashioned way,via htcdev. Depending on if any parameters have changed, you may even be able.to use your original unlock_code.bin

Like he said, use a firmware.zip archive from i.e. a ruu or ota. Delete all file except the android-info-txt. Place your custom recovery named recovery.img in that archive then flash it in ruu mode, make sure the android-info.txt match your device info, edit it as required.
Code:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
fastboot reboot-bootloader

Yeah, I tried these commands but when trying to rebootRUU , the phone just reboots normally and gets stuck on HTC logo. As for the link, I'll look for it online and post it here in a while.

OK thx alot
i think the zip file can't flash with fastboot because we don't turn on the developer option
so the only way to fix this is RUU.exe
I have the same problem I have unlock bootloader anyway its not works I can't do recovery I can't flash anything....
Phone turn on and stock on htc logo... T_T
In the general thread see my guide, I added links for the RUU and ZIMG files European and Asian versions to revert back to stock
