hi.i would need immidiate help with my galaxy tab.each time i install an application,if i should restart the device,all application would be wiped away.it also keeps bring an error message after vibrating twice that dictionary has force close.please help. here are the specs for the tablet:

I would be ok even if i could just flash it with another OS.i already have odin and samsung kies.
When changes won't stick, it is a sign that your internal NAND chip is going bad.
You may find many similar thread about it.

Hello guys,
I'm having a problem with my Galaxy S, I'm noob w/ Android. I read many users(not from here) saying that Lagfix really does a difference in performance, excited, I downloaded GST(Galaxy S Tweaker) and without root, instaled lagfix.
Now my Galaxy S is working, BUT, the home button stopped working and the back button is working as home button, also the camera stopped working, the touch became horrible, I can only connect to computer using Debug mode and everytime that I turn on the cellphone, appears I9000B and before appear the S logo it changes to I9000.
There's something that I can do?
I'm really desperate and don't care if lose data. I only wanna my Galaxy S working as it should be.
Eh. What's the name odd your device. Sounds like you installed lag fix for the international sgs

reflash it back to stock or flash another ROM made for the I9000 or I9000M instead of USA variants
Helo, i bought my suposetly new SGS from a small shop in LT, the phone is an unlocked orange (UK operator) device. From my view it hasnt been flashed with custom rom, (no bootloader or cwr screen when loading, but im just comparing to my hd2 that i sold which had those)
The problem is- i get constant freezes/crashes when i do more than one task,for ex. If i play a video file and someone calls it freezes, or if im playing a game it craches on loading screens, if i listen to music and browsing net and then someone calls, phone is dead... I usualy press the on/off button for 10sec and it restarts.
Anybody have any idea what could be wrong?

You probably mean Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread)?
Seems like some of your files are corrupted. I would try hooking it to your PC and re-install your firmware using Samsung Kies.

Im still new to my phone, how can i reinstal firmware through Kies? Never seen an option for that, just updates,sync...
And if i flash a stock rom i supose it kills my waranty,since i should instal bootloaders,cwr and so on?

Flashing a firmware won't void your warranty, rooting however will, but all you need to do is flash back to a firmware, and they will never know

Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P1000 WiFi running Samsung upgrade Gingerbread 2.3.3. Sim Card 32GB Std 10.
Kies does not do back up, fails everytime. Cannot use Compass in any form ! Guidance needed
Have not rooted before.
So based on advice to be received, need to back up, Root and install new ROM. Then get rid of unwanted Samsung Apps (Anything else to get rid off ? ) Memory management is a big problem , using Ram manager under Task Manager helps a little bit and NQ Mobile, but constantly need to reboot. RAM runs at ave. 395 MB out of 440.
Help and/or tell me where to go appreciated. Android Authority gives incomplete instructions and no feedback to Users Problems !!
hi friends need help .
Last night i rooted my galaxy note with cwm.tar recovery and superuser.
everything was working fine until i downloaded rom manager and did something, i dont remember (perhaps flashed rom ) and my device restarted after that my capacitve back button and menu button stopped working and lights are showing on always even i tried to disable it from setting. I flashed to stock rom ics and jelly bean but still problem not solved please help me friends. i sure its not hardware issue any suggestion ?

OK here's you're first problem, this is not the thread for your device. Second you may need to use Odin to flash your original stock ROM. Your stock firmware can be found at www.sammobile.com or samfirmware.com. If that doesn't work it maybe a hardware problem. Next time search XDA for your phone's model number. This thread is for SGH-T879. Good luck. P.S. don't use ROM manager to flash CWM If your exact phone isn't listed. You're lucky you didn't brick your phone.

Hi, I'm pretty new at this but I was wanting to upgrade the android on my tablet and all the youtube tutorial said I needed a CWM, so I was downloading a CWM ROM for the first time to my galaxy tab (gt-p1000) and I think I crashed it! it rebooted but now the touch screen doesn't work at all! The tablet starts up fine but I can't even unlock it or open any screen because it doesn't recognize that I'm touching the screen! do you know what to do? or how to uninstall the CWM ROM now? thanks!
Maybe you have mixed up a P1000 and a P1000N/L kernel/device.
The touch screen driver is different for the two devices.
If you have P1000, use usual p1 kernel.
If P1000N or P1000L, use its own driver.
The L/N version is the Latin American version of the tab.
