Hi,
I have a Tegra 4 version of the Mi3 does anyone know of a nice custom ROM that will work well with the Tegra version as it looks like everything is based on the Qualcomm variant?

Hello
I heard that we need a kernel 3 for ICS to be more stable on our device. I followed for example the development of Nexx to port one for the Desire S, but the other day, as I was trying an HTC One X in a store, I saw that it had only a kernel 2.6.39.4.
Will it realy be better for our device to have a kernel 3?
I checked later and saw that it wasn't the last version of the software. Does it have a newer now?
Thank you for your answer
HTc one x already had updated with 3.0. Problem is not version number. We need kernel that have ICS compabitible. And new release will have that.
I think the tegra 3 in the one x is not Linux 3.0 optimised. I know the one x and transformer prime don't have a 3.0 kernel.
Im pretty sure its the one xl with the snapdragon s4 that has the 3.0 kernel.
Like Özgürce said, its not that we need a 3.0 kernel, we need a kernel with ics-compatible drivers and stuff in it, because ics uses completely different drivers than gingerbread.
That a 2 different device's. A 3.0 Kernel for One X Xl S isnt a 3.0 Kernel for us.
The 3.0 Kernel is a try to get a fully working Kernel on self development.

I know this isn't the at&t note 3 model but would this version run okay on ours - hlte? http://download.mokeedev.com/
After some reading around I think I figured out that the hlte is the international model, so would that rom work with ours I wander if that's the octacore version wish we had a port of Mokee OS it's awesome I discovered on my HD2

Can devs already make a lollipop custom rom for mi 3? Well I've seen a custom lollipop AOSP rom for galaxy s3 mini and samsung hasn't even released official ones for their flagship devices yet. So I'm a bit curious if we could have an early access on 5.0
Nope.

We don't have source code, for now we need to wait for ivan (developer of aosp 4.4.4 rom) to release something.

Not sure if any developers here owns a Galaxy S6. If anyone able to port Ubuntu Touch latest to Galaxy S6 would be very appreciated.
I believe that roms of anything that isn't android will not work due to the Exynos processors not having their kernel sources released.

Excuse my ignorance as I don't have any development experience more than being a script kiddy, but was not the old Ubuntu Touch roms just sampling from CM11 sources for most of the drivers and kernel stuff?
As I say, I don't really know anything but I thought that was how it went. I don't care if there is an S6 ROM but I just want to see any port of Ubuntu touch on any device I have.
Edit: Actually it looks like it was CM10.1 for the old ones from like 2013.
Later they moved to CM11, and they may use 12 now, I'm not sure.
hi .
what is the best custom rom ( android 6 or 5 ) for i8200 ?
thanks
? ? ? ? ?
don't think we have any for Andriod 5 or 6 yet?
If you want development avoid everything that doesn't contain any of Snapdragon SoCs and/or re-release versions of models with bad performing SoCs. Learned this from experience since I was an user of my retired S5830i, that phone was really a nightmare not only in games, but in every regular task.
i8200 doesn't have any aosp roms only stock based 4.2 roms.
