Hi everyone,
Is there a way (already) to have all apps in multi window like it was possible on the Note 3 with the mini window. I love the way they did the re-sizing of the windows on the Note 4 and would like to know if there is a way to re-size all the apps on the phone and not just the Samsung default ones.
Thanks for your help.
Yes there is my friend. Download the following apk from the play store. If you are rooted enable multi-window in exposed framework modules. Key me know if you have any problems or need further assistance with this.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bjbinc.mwmphone
Thank you so much you rock
I tried this before but I guess I was too early and the app hadn't been updated for the Note 4
No problem. Glad i could assist you all.

And could this can be installed in 4.2.2, which is my S4 zoom current version.
Thanks in Advance

If using 4.2.2, you'll need to use gearmanager 1.2

Thank you Thank you
When I tapped the charger NFC to my I9505G (Google Edition S4) it downloaded the Gear Manager Stub and setup the device without issue.
The problem I'm having is when my Gear is connected it seems to screw up the Physical Keyboard. I lose access to the keyboard in all my other apps. In Language & Input my Physical Keyboard is listed as SA_MUSIC_REMOTE_CONTROL
((UPDATE))
Easy Fix - Just Turned Off Physical Keyboard , appears it was trying to use the GG as a keyboard via Bluetooth. All is well. Working with very little pain on the Google Edition S4.
Now I just need to see if I can find the Weather Widget and Pedometer
Follow up to I9505G + GS4 GPe
Hi ksujace,
I'm in a similar boat as you in that I have the same devices. Thanks for the tip on turning off the physical keyboard, that is a huge help. I'd love any ideas you have about improving the rest of the outstanding issues (pedometer, weather, etc). If you've learned anything new, would greatly appreciate your insight.
Thanks

Hi,
I have installed Cm 10.1 advised by @jcsullins using his great tool Touchpad toolbox to have stable ROM as it is for my 4 year old. as I am away i cant see it myself and set it up. I guided my wife through phone and she was able to install all. It is working perfectly. I just need to know is their any where in CM 10.1 a setting to create profile or restriction so that My 4 year old don't delete thing and go to settings ?
Thanks for your help
There is this app on Google play http://babyturtleapps.com/apps2.html the link is for there Website incase you don't have an android device with you.. Child lock comes as a lite version l guess to try out with ads and limited to 4 apps or pro which removes ads and app limit for £1.20. The reviews seem good.
I hope this helps.

I know about apps and most of them i tired sux big time, either they have too much add or limit the app to their own apps or they are so heavy that they slow the tab down.
But I saw that a lot of tab devices have a built in feature to create profile to lock acces to settings and all apps, that is why i asked if CM has such feature?

I'm not familiar with any parental controls but have you tried a Lock app? Something like LockIt? I can't post a link.
Hello.
Today, after update of apps on my galaxy tab s 10 lte, I did some research on just instaled updates, and suddendly, I got supprised, that switching between apps worked in other ways than always - on bottom of screen I got 3 icons on black background (just like here: aboveandroid.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/android-5.0-L-1.jpg]) and while swapping on that bottom I was switching between currently working apps
I don't have idea, how I got to that mode, and I don't know in which app I activated this mode, but it looks like somthing from andoid 5.0, which unplanned got to some app (on my tablet I have only applications from andoid market, from offical google profile). I have andoid 4.4.2 on my galaxy tab s
Have someone got the same mode? I liked it very much (it is much easier to switch between apps than standard button and choosing app), but I don't have idea how I got to it.
Can someone help?

Maybe you could tell us your updated software version...
Hi All,
i recently got my AT&T Note 5, and i always use floating keyboard (in Note 3)
but i'm unable to see the option in Note 5.
If any one know how to achieve this in Note 5 (or any alternative) that would be great.
I was surprised to see the floating keyboard missing as well - I use SwiftKey and it has the ability to have a floating keyboard so that might be an option for ya...

Thanks for that suggestion.
i use my phone for some confidential data/accounts
so is it safe to use Third party keyboards (i never used) ?
On KitKat I used MultiWindow Manager but it doesn't work on 5.1.1. Wanam Exposed works otherwise (for the few things I've tried changing like moving the clock to the center) but NOT for adding more apps to MultiWindow, at the moment anyway.
The app that finally relieved my frustration was MultiWindow Commander [root]. :victory:
Just thought I'd spare you all the time, frustration and refund requests by letting you know which app actually works for us.
I'm using Tab Pro 12.2 SM-T900, but this app will very likely work on any 5.1.1 Samsung tablet running a TW based rom or rooted stock that supports MultiWindow natively, as reviews seem to suggest. I'm running the excellent new Tool ROM btw (it's rooted, deodexed stock with Knox disabled plus Aroma installer to choose which stuff from stock to keep or discard). Works with Xposed as well. Check it out if you have the SM-T 900.
Don't forget to hit the Thanks! button if you found this useful. :good:

Follow directions in this thread regarding Xposed and it works just fine for me: http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...12-2-5-1-1-t3206156/post62914108#post62914108
App: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.xpe.app.multiwindow.commander&hl=en
It only takes a Play Store search you know
Sorry for the late reply. I've been mostly off the grid for a few weeks.
The problem is outside of the T90x (12.2" Tab Pro Series), this thread won't be of much use or interest to those with either the T52x (10.1") or those with a T32x (8.4") Qualcomm based Tab Pro. Since Samsung have basically told their users to go fourth and multiply. Or at the least to by a newer Phablet. Which IMHO works out about the same.
