Hi there!
I installed a Chainfire program, and now my Xperia have a bootloop
How can I turn on my phone? Can I flash a recovery and wipe all data, and then flash back stock kernel?
Plz help mee!
Ok, so I flashed recovery, turn it on, wipe all data, and phone still have bootloop. I don't have any idea, what can I do to flash clean stock sony firmware
Sony Update Service doesn't work. It tell me, that I have modded firmware
relock your bootloader, then use sony update service again
Ok, so how can I relock bootloader, and can I unlock it after?
Dude no need for all that. Just download Flash tool and generic Xperia ftf file. Then switch off your cell phone and press the volume down key and insert the usb while on Flash tool it will install the adb drivers if not then navigate into the flash tool folder and then you'll find a folder named drivers install the drivers from that setup proceeding ahead you should see a green led light now click on the flash button above and select flash tool and navigate it to the ftf file you just downloaded. It will install the generic rom but will remove your root access. No need to lock the boot loader. Welcome if this helped and tell me if I'm wrong

Damn working! Thanks!!!
BTW. Is there any website with ftf firmwares? Like samfirmwares for samsung devices?
AW: XPERIA Bootloop
No there is not.
Next time try EMMA if you want to reload your stock firmware. EMMA works with unlocked bootloaders (only).
my phone was rooted and cwm installed. i tried to flash aura rom and after that it just show sony logo. please help me how to unbrick it?
Use SUS application (Sony Update Service), this will re-install the stock ROM. But note that using this will wipe your internal storage
Here is the download link for the Sony Update Service. http://software.sonymobile.com/insta...-2.13.3.43.exe
this works only for Locked bootloader and it will wipe your internal storage.
just download this application , this is sony update service , select your device in the application and it will flash a stock rom on your device

Thanks a lot for your reply. I will try it tommorow.
it works i did the same installing another rom which said worked with locked bootloaders but got the sony symbol appear.
it does make you panic tho as it took me a while to figure out how to do it this will help alot of people who think they have bricked there phone.
can anyone flash roms on locked bootloaders?
i can flash sound mods they work fine but not these roms people are making with stock kernals
But why did it brick? Is aura rom not compatible with locked bootloader?
For me too it worked liked a charm. But the Rom wasn't installed don't know why. It was stuck in between.

Use Flash Tool to flash stock xperia z ftf
Hey guys,
Wiped data, system and cache and rebooted like a pillock, forgot to reflash the rom.
Whats the quickest way to getting back up and running?

Rapair via PC Compagnion (SUS) or use Flashtool v.0.9.13 and flash a Stock FTF. Hold volume down and connect to PC, let Windows install the drivers, in Win7, put FTF in Flashtool folder, select FTF and flash again to Stock.
Hi guys I seriously need help. I bricked my Z1 c6903. I accidentally deleted the OS by wiping dalvik, system, etc,. Im sorry if this was already posted somewhere here. Im new to this. If someone would kindly help me or give me help in unbricking my device Id really appreciate it.
PS, Z1 was given to me already rooted. It has TWRP recovery, and I know that Im really stupid for tinkering with the advanced option. Im new to using custom recovery, rooting, etc.

If you still have recovery , boot into recovery, mount usb and copy ROM from your PC.
Flash ROM and restart...
If you don't have recovery, use flashtool to flash ftf. (534) root it and then upgrade to 761 (latest firmware)
BTW, your device isn't bricked, there's missing system, that's all...
And yeah...that wasn't stupid at all...this things happens and, if you ask me- TWRP team should change that wipe options...
It's not well made...
First option should be only cache wipe and advanced should have format data and system option...

First of all, thanks for taking the time to reply.
I tried booting to recovery but it wont. Its stuck in the sony logo. I guess ill go with option 2(flashing ftf)
is it ok if I flash the ftf then NOT root it?
I found a guide how to flash an ftf file in this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2428319
is this guide applicable for the z1 too?
Thank you

You are welcome mate
Yeap...
One thing is very important - use latest flashtool..and everything will be OK.
You'll be surprised how easy that is...
Flash firmware 534 (JB)
Turn device off, open flashtool and prepare 534 firmware, start flashing and connect device (holding vol down) connect device when flashtool ask for it, don't do that right away...
root it with binary method (just Google" binary root method xda") first link is what you need.
Install NUT recovery.
Restart to recovery, flash NUT 757, TURN DEVICE OFF!!!
And flash stripped ftf (that's kernel)
It's very important to turn device off, don't restart. (to flash stripped ftf)
I always practice to hit flashtool "start" button and wait for flashtool to ask for device, that's is the best way to be 100% sure your device won't leave flashmod

Well yeah...I just said that..
If you don't want to root then don't root it, just flash firmware.
I would flash latest firmware but if you are sure you'll get 757 or 761 OTA update then you can flash older firmware...

come to think of it. it sounds easy. just download the ftf then flash using flashtool.
btw. will it cause any problems if the phone has a custom recovery(twrp)?
thank you
If you do not want root just use pccompanion and choose repair my phone when the options comes up.
1 step fix!

Man, I asked you do you still have recovery and you said no?!?
Use recovery to flash stock based ROMs like NUT or iHackers, flashtool or pc companion to flash stock unrooted firmware.
It won'tbe a problem if you have twrp (recovery), it'll wipe everything...
We are talking for a two hours and you are asking same question over and over again...
I wanna help but come on....
Sent from my D6503 using Tapatalk
It doesn't have to
Turn the phone off, do not attach it to the PC
Run pccompanion, choose software update
When prompted choose the blue option to repair the phone, go through the instructions and attach phone in flashmode when prompted

thank you guys its fixed and alive now!
After rooting n flashing xz1dualrecovery with the help of pc and then flashing super su 2.00 i am facing strange problems! After a day my phone is not booting in recovery, no vibration or yellow lights during restart! Then after yesterday i saw that its not switching off when i hold power button and then click 'power off' only reboot to safe mode and holding power n volume up is working. I had uninstalled google play services, google plus n all except google search, google sttings, maps nplay store. I uninstalled youtube and notes too. N Yes i had backed up entire partion via xz1dualrecovery, but after that due to insufficient space i manually delete the backup file from sdcard/clockworkmod/
What do i do now?
And also tell me please that whether i update 4.4.4 via ota when it come(my phone is rooted, bl locked) ? Thanks in advance...
N last of all kindly suggest me what apps do i install now to improve my phone(i had installed busybox free, rom toolbox, android tuner, set cpu, trickstermod, add free and uninstalled them, only root app present is titanium backup pro).

You lost recovery and had all those problems because you installed busybox...
Read OP from XZDualRecovery - it clearly says - do not install busybox.
Busybox is included and if you installed another version you'll lose recovery...
You can flash fw via flashtool and root device again to repair that...

Thank you a ton! I am now waiting for 4.4.4 ftf. I will flash it n be careful from now. :x also tell me which recovery is best? Can i update via ota or sus in future if i have root?

Sure you can...
You will lose root, of course but for now, there's no fw for Xperia which cannot be rooted.
So, when PC Companion say - update is ready, update your device and root ut using easy root, install NUT recovery and you'll be rooted with recovery again.
There's no "better" recovery on locked bootloader, there's only one recovery by NUT.
In that recovery you can choose CWM, TWRP and PhilsRecovery.
CWM and TWRP are my favorites and you there's not much difference between them.
Both will do the job...
