Hi.
I have an Xperia V Lt25i.
I flashed a ftf from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=54409610&postcount=438
after that rooted it then flashed Philz Touch. But I can't flash any custom ROMs, due to status 7 error. It says that my device is 'mint'.
Is there a stock ROM that is tsubasa?
Thanks in advance.
Mint is Xperia T.
Have you tried to install Rom based on 4.4?
Do you have a unlocked bootloader?

HI, I rooted my Xperia Z to 4.3 Android (Sony's version) but I can't install Sony's version of 4.4 android via Sony's PC Companion software as I have rooted the device and unlocked the bootloader.
Also, if I get 4.4 on my Xperia Z, how to root that?
Thanks

Maybe you should investigate what the latest Android version is instead of asking something that no one will be able to answer.
Link me one 4.4 topic plz.

The latest official android version for sony xperia z is 4.3, but you can download custom rom for your device, by installing clockwork mode and then flashing the rom.
You can search over for the custom recovery and how to install it and then just download your desired kitkat rom and copy it to the phone, then flash it in recovery mode.
Cheers.

I would add, and remind you, that a unlocked bootloader is required in order to install whatever cyanomodgen rom

Currently my SP is in 4.3(12.1.A.0.266), i want to install eXistenZ Ultra 2.1.5 ROM. Already i have eXistenZ Ultra 2.1.5 ROM file + 12.1.A.0.266 FTF file but instruction says i also need 12.0.A.2.254(4.1.2) FTF for ROOT+CWM.
Is it possible to install ROOT, CWM & this ROM without going to 12.0.A.2.254(4.1.2) ?
Thanks in advance

I think you can by having unlocked bootloader.
With locked bootloader you must downgrade to .254 then follow the instructions ...
[Q] Can I install a custom ROM on my XPeria Z if "unlock bootloader allowed: no"?
As the title says. I would like to install some Lollipop custom Rom on my xPeria Z, but the bootloader is locked. Is there any way I can bypass this?
Unfortunatelly no. Each Lollipop custom ROM for Xperia Z requires unlocked bootloader, because based on CM or AOSP, and need custom kernel.
Fortunately, at any moment Sony will release the official Lollipop. This will work on locked bootloader .
There are some stock firmware based custom roms for locked bootloaders. But if you are thinking to flash CM, aokp... Etc you are out of luck because it needs unlocked bootloader.

Currently the best stock based Rom is eXistenz Ultimate IMO.

is it possible to install cm 12.1 in xperia z (lollipop) by following these steps without unlocking the bootloader?
1. rootng with kingrootv4.5
2. installng XZRecovery-1.0.apk and entering twrp 2.4.3
3. install cm from this
No it isn't possible.
To install a cm12.1 you need an unlocked BL.
if I were you, I would not try it. Many devices evolved into useless paperweights.
BUT
you can flash CUSTOM ROMs but they must have STOCK KERNEL
