You have to have USB Debugging enabled, then check adb for your device, type the following:
1. adb shell
2. su
2.1 Grant su permission on your phone
3. dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p7 of=/sdcard/modem.bin bs=4096
4. Choose a file explorer you like and grab the modem from the sd card. its probably in /sdcard. +
If you could do that, i would be SOOOOOOOOOOOOO thankful. I dont have the System Image, i could give you a nandroid backup though
Tomorrow i try this. Is possible to do this only with titanium backup?
Otherwise i have to find a windows pc, i have only a macbook.

Hi my friend!
Don't know if this help, but try to extract from the sbf image or reinstall the entire rom again.
Try this link:

Here you go, had to put it in a folder (but extract, it's not flashable), hope it helps.

Sadly it didnt.. Your phone was an US phone correct? It stil shows no Sim no reception.. IMEI is gone too from the info screen
Could you try doing this for me ?
su (press Return)
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p10 of=/sdcard/modemst1.bin bs=512 (press Return)
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p11 of=/sdcard/modemst2.bin bs=512 (press Return)
I remember my script deleted thos, and maybe that will do the trick
Radixtrator,
What exactly you flashed as wrong radio: NON-HLOS.bin ? fsg.mbn? Both ? Please explain in more details.
And how you flashed modem file, provided by fnut6969?

The absolutely most awesome thing you could do is give me a Full Nandroid Backup ( without data) especially including the EFS Partition, because i believe thats whats wrong with my phone... That would be incredibly awesome
I don't want to unluck just yet. I didn't even know btw moto has an efs partition too, I can't see it

Hey everyone!
I am new to everything about android and just rooted my phone a couple weeks ago. I want to install the decrapified rom burin not 100% sure how to do it. I need CWM to do this right? Can I get back to my original rom if I don't like it or something goes wrong? I also hear some users talking about backing up the device. How do we do this? I know that there are lots of questions and I know some person (maybe two lol) could point me in the right direction. Thank you!

1 yes, you need cwm to put decrapified
2 once u install cwm, make sure ur battery is full (at least 50%, but i'll just say full) and make a backup using cwm of ur current system

Awesome thanks. Now I cant get the adb shell to work. ive done it on my dads phone before so im kinda familiar with it but the sdk still seems to be updating or whatever. Should it work when its finished?
Like when I type "adb devices" it says nothing can be found.
What operating system is ur computer on? Make sure you have installed the LG drivers if Windows.. also, doesn't hurt to be up to date w the sdk...

Running windows 7 sdk updated drivers installed.
Im typing
cd C:\android-sdk\tools\
adb devices
nothing pops up. It says it isnt recognized?
1. install and update adb sdk.
2. Plug your phone in and install the drivers so it is recognized by windows as the revolution.
3. once 1 and 2 are done set your phone to internet only and turn on debugging.
4. now try adb

If you are copying it in Windows, copy it to the drive marked "internal." If not, then this is telling you that file isn't on your sdcard. You need to move it there.
Its in the internal. Should it go in a folder? What about the fact that it says no space left on device?
I have plenty of space?

Thanks to Trekfan422991 for cluing me in on the Optimus 3D recovery.
Working:
Nandroid
ADB (after special driver install, need to tweak recovery for it to work with normal drivers)
Mounting USB to computer
Flashing zip files
Dangerous:
Fix Permissions (caused lots of crazy issues, fix by wiping data if you use it)
Sdparted (the sdcards are mount incorrectly, this will probably destroy your device)
I am in the process of making a recovery specifically for our device, it is mostly done and will be posted here when it is ready!
What you are going to need:
ADB (and know how to use it, don't ask in here)
Rooted Phone (again, that will not be covered, don't ask in here)
Optimus 3D recovery image [Download]
If you don't understand something in that list, DO A SEARCH AND LEARN, don't clutter the thread with crap!
Lets get started!
Lets start by getting the recovery.img file on the phone. Open up a cmd prompt and type:
Code:
adb push recovery.img /data
The rest of this will be done on the phone shell. In the cmd prompt type:
Code:
adb shell
We will need to have su access, In the cmd prompt type:
(If you haven't allowed shell su in SuperUser now would be a good time to accept the root request on the phone.)
Code:
su
Now we are going to backup your current recovery to your sdcard. In the cmd prompt type:
(make sure your sdcard is not mounted to your computer)
Code:
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p6 of=/sdcard/mmcblk0p6.backup bs=4096
After that is done we are going to flash ClockWorkMod Recovery! In the cmd prompt type:
Code:
dd if=/data/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p6 bs=4096
Congrats! You now have ClockWorkMod Recovery! In the cmd prompt type:
(each line is single command)
Code:
rm /data/recovery.img
reboot
How to enable ADB access: (only if it's not working already)
Download and install: (unzip and install the 2 exe files)
http://www.mediafire.com/?j5m1plnvzb8r0zc
While booted into ClockWorkMod Recovery, go into your device manager, you should see an "LGE Android Composite Device" with a yellow triangle on it.
right click on it, update driver software...
select browse my computer for driver software
select let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer
click the "Have Disk" button
click the "browse" button
browse to;
for 64bit:
C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LG Android Driver\64BitADB
for 32bit:
C:\Program Files\LG Electronics\LG Android Driver
and select lgandadb.inf
click "ok"
From that list select "Android Sooner Single ADB Interface"
click "next"
click "yes" on the popup

I found a few modes, but no drivers yet so I don't know what they are. Even if we break stuff the kernel and recovery are separate, so technically we should always be albe to get back into recovery to fix stuff.
thankyou DG for getting this started..
so now with my clockworkmod i just made a backup of stock rom... if i say change the framework and I get boot loop.. will this clockwork mod be able to restore the original rom without any problems???

I got mixed up as to what partition to flash, you just flashed a recovery image over the kernel... its ok tho.
follow my instructions to the su part, then do this.
// this will restore the kernel
dd if=/sdcard/mmcblk0p5.backup of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p5 bs=4096
// this will backup recovery
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p6 of=/sdcard/mmcblk0p6.backup bs=4096
// this will flash cwm
dd if=/data/recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p6 bs=4096

After CWM is installed and working on our device, would it be safe to fix permission in "ROM Manager," or does that just fix permissions through whichever recovery is currently installed?

Sorry for being OT but I must agree: if designgears made a Thrill ROM that's Cognition-esque then I'd consider keeping my Thrill, but considering he already has a ROM for the GSII, I imagine he's going to get the AT&T Galaxy S II? Side note, you know you've really earned some serious nerd-cred when other nerds (who you don't even know) speculate what your next cell is going to be

Not waiting on dg here. Think you missed the "let's" part. Working on a Thrill ROM as we speak. Just got the Thrill about an hour ago and I already dumped the system image, de-odexed it, created an updater-script, added root and busybox, removed bloat, and updated a few apps. Time to start theming, modding framework, and tweaking.
Im also working on a ROM but if we cannot flash zips with CWM then how am I supposed to flash the ROM? Are you going to flash it with Heimdall or something?

Oh, good to hear! Man I really have to sit down and try to learn some more technical stuff sometime, because ROM creation, and not even just the theming aspects, is so appealing to me.
Maybe you can create a thread placeholder and describe what you've done so far? We're really getting OT, sorry all.

Oh, I thought you could flash zips through adb after doing the fix? Or no? (((edit: wait, no, I was thinking about pushing .apks through ADB, not flashing .zip files))) Hopefully this is something DG's new recovery might address. If no to both, could you distribute ROMs via nandroid backup files of a fresh ROM installation? It would be incredibly inefficient, but it would work, right?

Looks like the path to your SD card is different to mine. Try replacing /mnt/sdcard/ in the original command with /sdcard/ , ie:
Code:
su
cat /sdcard/recovery-6028.img >/dev/block/mmcblk0p1
sync
Code:
su
cat /sdcard/unsecure-boot-mmcblk0p2.img >/dev/block/mmcblk0p2
sync
Also no need to get aggravated, none of us are being rewarded for helping you here but we're trying to help anyway...

ooops didn't look at all the screenshots. The last one shows your SD card path actually is indeed the same as mine. I'm all out of ideas then.

Tutorial CWM
Dude forget what they say everyone tells different way, read here what i writeto you and make the steps like me.
1. Unlock Bootloader and get SU Permissions
2. Go to PlayStore download SuperSU and than start give permisions to it to update Binary , than go to Setting in SuperSU and install in System
3. Reboot Phone
4. Copy the 2 IMG data to root from SD and rename recovery-6028.img > recovery.img & unsecure-boot-mmcblk0p2.img > boot.img
this to IMG data must be unpacked from RAR(Zip) from Dexter.
5. make sure you have Unknow Sources and USB Debug Active , and also make sure that Superuser is replaced by SuperSU after reboot
6. Go to PlayStore and Download Android Terminal Emulator
and give in Terminal
Type "su" without quotes and than accept the permissions from SuperSU after that give in
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
cat /mnt/sdcard/recovery.img >/dev/block/mmcblk0p1
sync
IF YOU USE UNSECURE BOOT tha use this

It's in the system root for me, it's a symlink. Though it didn't work for me in the cat command, which is why I suggested using /storage/external_SD/ instead which did work for me. It looks like the OP has the files in the right places, and the hash in the command line screenshot implies that SU is working correctly, so I'm all out of ideas now.

Type "su" without quotes and than accept the permissions from SuperSU after that give in
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
cat /mnt/sdcard/recovery.img >/dev/block/mmcblk0p1
sync
IF YOU USE UNSECURE BOOT tha use this
su
cat /mnt/sdcard/boot.img >/dev/block/mmcblk0p2
sync

GUIDE:
1. when you are running unlocked bootloader and is rooted goto step 2.
2. download attached zip files and extract content to internal sdcard location
3. use adb shell or terminal from market and execute the commands below
4. you are now running with native CWM recovery and unsecure boot, which enable adb root at boot instantly.
5. boot into recovery, by rebooting device and hold VOL-DOWN during bootup. (from power-off = keep holding vol-down during power on)
execute these 3 commands for recovery image install
Code:
su
cat /mnt/sdcard/recovery-6028.img >/dev/block/mmcblk0p1
sync
execute these 3 commands for unsecure boot image install
Code:
su
cat /mnt/sdcard/unsecure-boot-mmcblk0p2.img >/dev/block/mmcblk0p2
sync
or see screenshot here
do this at your own risk, and do NOT try this on old 4.0.3, which is not with unlocked bootloader, and you are required to install KDZ again.

OH MY GOD I'm stupid, I copied files with ZERO byte.
sorry I used airdroid to copy them to my phone. But only their icons moved into my phone, not contents.

I'm rooted and am trying to mount the system to remove bloatware apps... However everytime Titanium Backup removes it and I reboot it's still there...
Anyone have any ideas?
System is protected: you can't modify it while the phone is booted. You'll have to make a zip or whatever to delete it in recovery.
You have to be kidding me...
I've spent all day long trying to root this bastard phone and that didn't work then I managed it and now I can't disable, remove any apps ?
So much for HTC being dev friendly

Did you try just freezing the app instead?

The recovery flashed but wouldnt boot , managed to get round it when i discovered POB with his superboot Thank god for the desire C
Then i realised that i couldnt flash anything because I manged to install 6.0.2.8 as a boot img, and 6.0.3.0 as a proper recovery.
Then i didnt have any files on the device to flash boohoo so i managed to get ADB sideload working through the AIO One Toolkit... And managed to flash AHRD finally getting a working device,
As you see Im a seasoned vet at these things but the HTC One has been the first device that has stumped me....
----------------------
The apps issue is not unkwown for HTC however they havent done this for a while.... Back with the G2 they did exactly the same thing and yes ive frozen them but there should be away to remove system apps for us through root.... But i cant remember how, Throwing it into ADB Shell and requesting SU along with a Remount works fine but still would like to remove the apps.
Im also looking for someone with a locked phone... (Sim Locked) i have a theory and it worked on the Desire C Anyone wanna help?

Delete the apps with titanium and power off the phone. Don't do a restart.
Already tried that ^_^
You need to flash a custom kernel with a modified ramdisk to disable system protection Without doing that you're like deleting an app on windows with deepfreeze on it
Is that the only solution?
There are so many bloated useless and intrusive (cr)apps on this phone it's unbelievable.
Other solution is boot in recovery and delete it there. Either thru adb while in recovery mode, flashable zip or through file manager(if you're using TWRP). Other than that nope
Hmmm I'm thinking adb through recovery here but how do I got about doing this?

the joys of a s-on devices
read up on adb commands...
or use the zip I attached and edit line 18 in this format with the apps you want to get rid of, use a file explorer to get the proper names.
make a backup first in case you mess up something
Code:
delete("/system/app/xxxxx.apk", "/system/app/xxxx.odex", "/data/app/xxxxx.apk");
The best way to remove apps in recovery is through adb:
Code:
adb shell
sysrw
rm /system/app/abc.apk
the simple way is ROM CLEANER, but isn't available yet for the One.
cheers

I dont have a One, and dont plan on having one (ever, thanks to this thread! I think I'll stick to Sony, they have instructions to unlocking bootloader on their official website)
BUT, if the system is locked, it should be locked trough ADB too, so I guess what I'd try is install busybox, custom recovery, go into recovery, connected it to the PC (or a mac, but since we're on no-apple forum, I'll assume PC), mounting system there and doing your thing.
You can install busybox and custom recovery right?
Edit: never mind, I should really learn to read. Sometimes I think I'm dyslexic a little, just for words, not letters.
I did not see the 'recovery' part mentioned.
Anywho, mounting system is what you forgot, so at least I said something helpful

All Wonderful Ideas folks, however i had a go at this last night, it was a fricking nightmare even mounting ADB through recovery
Whats up guys, Rydah here again. Here I present you guys with a stock rooted H81110N system image. This is for those who want root but cannot get TWRP to flash prior to root using MicroMod777's "One Click TWRP" tool. I unfortunately was one who couldn't get TWRP to flash before rooting and needed root before doing so but was able to flash TWRP after rooting via my system image.
Requirements:
An H811 Device
Already On The 10N Base
LG Drivers (Found Here)
A Windows PC
Send_Command Tools (Found Here)
Instructions:
Unzip The Send_Command Tools
Move The Rooted System Image Into The Root Of Your SD Card
Place Your Device Into Download Mode. (Shut Down Your Device. Once Off Holf Vol-Up + Plug In USB Cable)
Go Into Your Send_Command Tool Folder. Once your inside the send_command folder, hold Shift+Right Click and select "Open Command Window Here."
Type in: Send_Command.exe \\.\COM# (Replace the "#" with your devices actual COM number. To find this out, open Window's Device Manager (With your device plugged in) and find it under Ports
Type in: id
You should now have a "#" in the command window.
Type in (Or copy and paste this in): dd if=/data/media/0/rootedsystem.img bs=8192 seek=65536 count=548352 of=/dev/block/mmcblk0
It'll take a few minutes but a successful flash should bring you to another "#" prompt.
Type in: LEAVE
Enjoy
Downloads:
Stock Rooted 10N System Image
MD5: 847cdaf5adaf1b58945e473e8507f8c6
Additional information and clearer instructions can be found here. Same steps and procedures but with a different flash command.
Hope this was useful to some.
Enjoy,
Rydah
Hey. Thanks for doing this.
Should the "if" in the Send_command string point to the folder on the windows computer? It looks like it's pointing to the root of the internal storage as it's written there?
does not seem to work for me. I type in the last command and i get the # right away and reboot the phone and nothing has changed.
It worked for me after I had copied the system image to the root of the internal storage I believe because that command points there. Also, you have to be in Download mode for this to work in case you weren't aware!

YES!
Right. So instructions are not fixed yet. However, as mentioned, placing the image file on root on internal storage and putting phone in download mode gets the job done. Place phone in download mode by holding 'up volume' while plugging in cable and continue to hold until you see it tell you its in the download mode.

This system image does not include the 10N bootstack, so yes, you should be on stock N first.
Hey just a few tips
if you already have Android SDK or otherwise an instance of adb.exe installed, you should temporarily uninstall it, so that the adb.exe that is packaged with Send_Command doesn't conflict.
I copied the rootedsystem.img to my phone, used Send_Command, checked my id, and then used the dd command. There is no progress bar on the computer screen, and the progress bar on the phone screen does not move. Do not panic, this is normal.
Updated instructions and added MD5 for download in O.P.
