Navigation bar and recent apps button

I love my note 3 but I am not very fond of the button layout. is anybody aware of a way to enable a navigation bar similar to nexus devices? and if not, is there a way to remap the "menu" button to act as a recent apps button? I hate having to hold the home button to access the recent apps menu. I've searched many times and haven't been able to find anything. THANKS!

Xposed with gravity box will let you change the button layout. Navbar can be done but it's a pain in the butt.

really? the description for gravity box says to not use with interfaces such as touchwiz and sense.

It also has a button remapper. I remapped my menu and back long press to turn off screen and double press to pull down notification

great thank you. I remapped my menu button to double tap to open recent apps. wish I could do it single tap but this is definitely better than before

Xposed additions also works to remap buttons. That is what I use to remap menu to recent apps and long press menu to menu.

Hi, sorry to hijack this thread but since op using note three which uses omeled, won't the navigation bar cause screen burn in? Lol I'm fond with the navigation bar. Ya and just to say xposed addition allow remapping or what best is temasek rom also provide it

this is perfect and exactly what I was looking for! I remapped the menu button to recent apps and got the 3 dot menu always on module to accompany it.

Missing messaging app in ultra power save

Is anyone else missing it?
I can still get texts and text back if I pull down the status bar.
I can also text through finding a contact through the phone app but shouldn't there be a texting app allowed on ups?

Hold any of the lower icons and it will allow you to delete one of them. Then, just add the messaging app to your UPSM screen and done.

Quick theatre like gesture on home screen?

I've searched but can't come up with anything on this........
On the home screens if you gesture your thumbs like your opening up quick theatre as if you were on the lock screen, all apps disappear. What's the purpose of this action? Is there something else it should be doing instead of making the apps disappear?
Is there anyone that knows?

It's simply so you can see your wallpaper background without apps covering it. It's not a hidden app feature\gesture or something like that.

Help with soft keys.

Hey guys, I just downloaded the xposed module that changes the navigation keys to Android L style. I'm still using the stock LG ROM, and the menu button is really bugging me now. Anyone know any successful mods to change menu to multitask? Thanks!
Try gravity box in xposed or xblast

Or try this. Its got great nab bar icons and such.

I'll give it a try, I tried g2xposed since someone said it works, and it did but not for the soft keys.
Gravitybox now has an option to theme device like ANDROID L and part of that is the navigation keys change like the newly released ANDROID L.
Like this?
I'll send the file, I don't think I used gravity box for mines since it's a nonroot mod. But...
If you want this on your home launcher, you'll have to disable the transparent navbar.
This will show in every app you use. I'll send the link. Hold up...

Right on man thanks. I've been rocking a zenyth soft keys theme from the G2. And for me the theme doesn't show on home screen with the zenyth. Haven't tried the "L" theme yet. But I don't use the soft keys much at all. I have them hide for every app I can since I use LMT launcher.
