[Wrong Section][Q] Greenifying Xposed downloads - Xposed General

If i were to greenify any of the downloafs from Xposed Installer, more specifically the UI kind, would that make them quit working and potentially harm my device?

Greenifying an app that doesn't have a service is useless. I'd recommend you read more about how Greenify works, and ask your questions in the appropriate thread, as this is the wrong section. Thanks.

I've just check my xposed log and find out that there are lots of error caused by greenify and minminguard. I try to disable greenify feature one by one and after disabling "Wake-up Tracker & Cut-off" the error log no longer appear. Is it a coincident or there are other people experiencing the same case like me?

Yea actually there should script conflicts which occur error logs because greenify actually force stop the services! don't install greenify if this happens with your device!
Hit thanks if you think i helped you out!

This is the wrong section for module requests/support — you should ask in the Greenify thread instead. Please read these guidelines for more info.

Compatibility Pac-Man ROM

Hi,
Xposed installer and modules are supported by Pac-Man ROM?? My device is OnePlus One
Framework: should be, make a backup and TIAS. Modules: depends on the module, check the particular module's thread.

Read the GravityBox OP and search the thread, see for yourself if it's compatible with your device/ROM. Also check the Xposed FAQ for instructions on how to get out of a bootloop.
I'm running xposed along with a handful of tweaks and its fine running the latest PAC nightlys
I'm running a couple of modules, but if I use to many they cause a bootloop. And it doesn't seem to be a module specific problem. If I exceed 12 modules it bootloops and in some cases I even lost my app data (but only user app data. No settings or so).

Xposed for Lollipop is finally here!

Here's the latest on when Xposed might be compatible with ART.

this phone is awesome
This stuff is beyond my understanding however it might be a clue that Xposed is still a long way from working with ART.

Hopefully they get that. The one thing that makes me hesitant to be happy about getting an update.

In an effort to keep Xposed questions/issues out of ROM threads since Xposed and/or a module related issue one might have; is not the fault of the ROM you are using and therefore shouldn't be asked in those threads. The devs have better things to do than read thru non related ROM issues.
Xposed for L is currently in alpha 4 (the apk says alpha 2 for now on; look at the zip file date) and it will work on the G2 albeit with some help; and I don't mean being rooted since that's a given. Before installing Xposed we need to, re-name/freeze LGCover in the priv-app folder and LGWeather and LGWeatherService in the app folder. P_Toti explains the issue here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=58879600#post58879600 and here https://github.com/rovo89/Xposed/issues/27
Spoiler alert; Looks like he has a RC G2/G3 TweaksBox working for us. Post #4 http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=53618487
After LGCover, LGWeather, and LGWeatherService are re-named/frozen head to the Official Xposed read-only thread I know a lot don't like to read, but if you plan on using this, you should read the whole OP. There's also a discussion thread that is a mess unfortunately, however there is valuable info in it, especially post # 2.
If you are one of the many that don't read before flashing, you can disable LGCover, LGWeather, and LGWeatherService thru adb after you realized the device won't boot properly. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=59929667
I don't know what modules work and/or don't work. I only try them for testing purposes. You might be asking what modules work/don't work and don't know how to search. Well, I've found 3 threads to help you out. List of devices able to run Xposed on Lollipop , [Unofficial] List of working Modules for Xposed on Lollipop, and the one that helped me narrow down what should work, Xposed Lollipop compatible Modules
Since I don't/won't use Xposed, I am no help on how to use 99.9% of the modules, however there are many here that use them and can help. The XDA Community Apps has a link to the Xposed Framework Modules that can help you out with specific modules.

Wanam Xposed app doesn't work/can't install on Note 4

I just got my note 4, installed xposed, and can't install wanam xposed app. Downloading from the play store gets stuck at 74% and downloading through the xposed downloader takes extremely long to install. Once somehow installed, when I open the app no permission is asked, the window freezes and I cant press any options on the app. Only way to get out is to press the home button. Extremely frustrating, Please help!
Also "App User 10(other random numbers numbers) keeps asking for permission even after I uninstalled wanam. Don't know if its related. What is that?
Are you rooted?
It works fine on my Note 4 from t-mobile.

It's issue with Note 4 and Xposed Installer, not a wanam xposed. Same problem almost every app in Play Store. Do these steps and you are fine.
1. Uninstall Xposed Framework and reboot
2. Install from Play Store example this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.apps.build.prop.editor
3. Search from Build Prop Editor line "ro.securestorage.support" and change value from true to false, dont reboot yet even when it's asking it.
3.1. If you are using S Healt please go to setting and delete all data from S Health program because this same issue affects to S Health now working
4. Install Xposed Framework again and now reboot
5. This issue is gone until firmware update come! After it you can do same thing again.
That worked for me.
Please use the Wanam Xposed thread for module specific support, and review the guidelines for this section (the thread is aptly titled "[Read before posting] Module-specific questions/requests do NOT belong here!", BTW ) and the forum rules.

Xposed incompatible with SDK25 or arm64-v8a?

Hi,
I'm trying to install Xposed on a Samsung Galaxy S7 (SM-G930F) with LineageOS 14.1 + microG.
I installed https://dl.xposed.info/latest.apk as specified on the General info thread. When I go to the Framework section, the Install/Update button is disabled and I see the following message:
Xposed is not (yet) compatible with AndroidSDK version 25 or your processor architecture (arm64-v8a).
I tried to look it up and as I understand it Xposed is compatible with SDK25 and with arm64-v8a. What can I do?

Okay... It looks like you had experienced a bit of a common misunderstanding that many individuals experience because of a ton of information available that can potentially be a bit confusing (in on itself). I'll do what I can to help clarify this in general since I don't have your specific device.
1) Uninstall the XPosed Installer App that you currently have and Reboot.
2) Obtain the latest XPosed Framework from the following link and then flash it via TWRP.
http://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk25/arm64/
3) Obtain the "XposedInstaller_3.1.5.apk" from/attached to the OP (at the bottom) of the following thread.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
4) After flashing the XPosed Framework, reboot your device to install the XPosed Installer App.
5) Once the App is installed, launch it and you should be good to go.
Sometimes the App may initially state that XPosed is not active. This is usually remedied by a full Reboot or two.
Those are (an abridged) General instructions that applies to you.
I wish you the best of luck!

Crystal clear, and it works. Thank you for your kind answer. I had seen that thread but didn't know to follow it instead of the "General info" one.
Thank you for warning about the required reboot. The app first claimed that my phone was not rooted but the reboot solved this.
