What music app do you use? How can you expect a asop ROM to include anything else besides play music.

I was gonna try that, but i'm liking the way ART feels too much =P I just dirtflashed the rom again and am gonna deal w/ the sim notifications, because they don't come often enough to be a bother, everything else is working 100% though. Loving this rom, haven't had AOSP in a long time.

This is a CM issue. There is an app that works in google play. We are trying to get CM to fix it and hoping it will happen soon.
Spirit UL from Google play is the app.

I don't understand why the SIM lock zip is needed. Looking over the build and added files that make Sprint build is really nothing. Most of the files are shared between m7ul and m7sprint. But ART works great for the m7. That is the only way to go and i know it was a big bummer when i spent all the time to port over ls to the m7 just to find out no ART

The STK.apk in the patch is from the sense ROM, which is not art compatible.

The STK.apk from the official liquid smooth also works, and works with art, but I found that connection is better with the HTC one.

I can just download it I guess, no biggie
Milestone 3.2 has just been released. I can't find any differences on it so i am in no rush to build. Still working on why LS has taken out the torch tile. All of the files are there but can't seem where and when it was taken out.

looking over the manifests of Liquidsmooth, where i get my device and kernel they are both pulling the same Stk.apk straight from google. Looking at CM's they have a custom stk. I can't get it to build inside LS but it might be worth a shot to steal there stk.apk. Atleast it would but an AOSP based file so ART should work.

MIUI V4.1 (2.9.21) :highfive:
I honestly take no credit for this Rom at all although I would like to give a big shout out & Thanks to everyone at XDA, Cyangenmod, and MIUI Dev team.
I, nor ANYONE else is responsible for what MAY happen to you and your phone, or anyone else and their phone.
So by moving forward to downloading you understand the risks of flashing a new ROM, and understand it's NOT anyone
else's fault except yours. . . No one put a gun to your head and said hey download and flash this now!
Code:
Installation Instructions. . .
Reboot into Recovery
Do a Nandroid Backup (optional)
[U][SIZE="3"]-[B]Wipe data/factory reset[/B]
-[B]Wipe cache partition/dalvik cashed[/B]
-[B]Go into Mounts & Storage and Format /system[/B][/SIZE][/U]
-Install the ROM
-reboot (as always first boot takes a bit longer)
-let sit for a few minutes
-reboot
-set up as you like
-reboot and enjoy
The Rom comes with Devil3_1.2.1_JellyBean kernel, but of course flash what ever JellyBean kernel your heart desire.
Code:
Issues::
1. GPS May be shot, let me know and I'll attempt to fix
2. Low memory space in /Data? Use an app to put your apps in the /system/app folder or use to app2sd
3. BLN doesn't work properly. [FIX? Disable Screen on in sms settings]
4. EFS (IMEI ERROR EVERY BOOT) [FIX? Unknown at this time]
5. Play Store Error: (app name) could not be downloaded due to an error; error retrieving information from server [RPC:AEC:0]
5a. Fix? Remove Google account and re-login .

Yeah, see what had happen was when i first started porting it it was just for personal use so i did everything more of to my liking but I'd be happy to change things up and add/remove things. It's two things you can do as of now dealing with the DPI.
One: Download Build.prop editor from Google play, and change the DPI to 240 yourself. build.prop Editor by Nathan Campos
Two: Wait for the next update which will come with more options
Thank you for this!
Since J is dropping the miui port, this will be surely just as good!
I'd be more than happy to test out your experimental builds as I have done for J.

Not sure if you or Jrongi use different sources, but restoring my desktop layout gets me a FC every single time, and we all know how much of a pain it is to setup the homescreen.
Also, stuff like the "hidden proximity" feature seem to not be present (when your proximity is hidden, like if its in your pocket, it won't let you do anything until its unhidden)

Not the ICS one.
He has a JB one as well, but is most likely going to drop support for it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1552241
I'm guessing its because he uses miuiandroid, while you use miui.us
and I guess there are differences.

noooo, we used the same source on this current build, my next one is going to be miui.us unless i can get miuiandroid to work without bootloop, so you shouldn't be having a problem with 2.9.4 .

For the open mind person only.
Khomsn Built No.3
I have made some modification (based on my linux experience from the beginning up to now) with CM10 to make P7500, to full phone voice call function, but there is still no voice over bluetooth yet. We have to figure it out.
MY DROPBOX TRAFFIC JAM SO USE TORRENT. PLEASE SHARE GUYS.
You can take this to test here..
***********READ Changed Log first*****************
and you have to flash modem from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1875024, or load from torrent below to be able to make a phone call.
I also have questions, if you can answer me, I may be able to enable voice over bluetooth by defualt.
If this is ok for you. I will share the modification point in the source code.
I have only weekend time to do this. So next time I will find out how to enable voice via bluetooth.

2. Merge phone xml file with stock ics one.
3. Add zipalign at bootup.
4. Add preload mount, so we can use it for any thing like swap space.
5. Preinstall free apps FileManagerHD and GoLuancherHD
6. Other not remember and track.. I'm sorry...

Care to share any other info about this project?
not to be an ass, but can you give us details on the build? just posting it up here as you did wont really encourage many to look at it.
what is the point of this?
seriously.
are you fixing bugs that have not been tackled yet? if the answer to this yes, have you sent pull requests to me for review?
if the answer to this is no, and you are just merely building from sources i upload to github, don't you feel you are undermining the efforts on this tab, when i myself am supplying builds during this transition phase while i get everything tidied up?
this is not a race to see who can get out a build faster. this is a community effort.
waiting for your reply on this matter.
are you kidding me?
provide some info for what you did...

Thanks!

Thank you very much, Khomsn! Your rom is awesome with full fuctional voice calls. Finally I can go back using a CM10 fully. Just one thing: as always, there is even in you rom no way to add a new account in SIP settings for voip calls, internet calls. Hope you will fix this bug too. Thanx again.

To be honest, this is not tablet mode at all, it has nothing to do with silly build.prop hacks.
This is the first and only Android rom to feature true Hybrid mode.
This rom lets you scale and project every app, every widget, even systemcomponents individually.
Remember, android is modular, everything is an app: Lockscreen, navigationbar, dialogs, popups, keyboards, widgets, and your regular apps of course.
Apps have the capability to switch into various designs or layouts according to the device they run on.
This can result in a complete new experience as many apps will transform to the better.
Now for every element that you like chose a mode (PhoneUI, Phablet/Nexus-7UI, TabletUI) and/or a size.
You are 100% independent of the system DPI which runs nicely in whatever value it has been assigned to.
You do not need to boot your phone into a certain DPI. Neither will most of the changes you apply require a reboot.
You will not suffer from the myriads of troubles which normally haunt you under build.prop tablet mode.
Your market, phone, etc. will all work, apps won't shrink on you unless you shrink them yourself.
This project will entirely transform your device, but retain the aesthetics and the feel of your phone.
I believe that all users should know exactly what is being built in/for the ROM.
That is why all the repos I use are available for all to see and contribute to. The device source links are on github.
Please do not ask me to include any prebuilt or proprietary applications in this ROM because I will refuse, or ignore you entirely.

The rom needs some reboots to stabilize, so after configure the google account please reboot again
btw, this rom have more bugs that ev or aokp or rootbox, but can be used without problems. Don't install the new kernel versions, they work but this rom needs some extra ramdisk things and may cause extra bugs...
Known bugs:
- All in EV
- Performance Control Voltage Settings
- Capacitive Buttons light
- Can take up to 1 minuto to adquire signal, but work perfect after that.
- Some UI glitches
I don't have time to work on the roms in next days, so don't expect a update this week.
Also Anders and Lexmazter are working hard right now, and i will add their fixes as soon as possible.
i can't download the rom, keep shows 403 forbidden
when i use "save link as", the file is only 7kb
Same here
Nice to see it here
OK,I will upload it again....

I found one more bug. I've got problems with time zone, i can't set mine. it's 12:26 PM, my phone shows 10:26 PM. When I set it manually to 12:26PM, in all programs it shows 10:26 PM :/

Is this still based on moparman371's build?
If so all on ...78 or ...94 do not need to wipe data.
I have done it many times.

You must be referring to my alpha test builds that I did before I acquired an unlocked RAZR M to test on. I've been known elsewhere on the web as moparman371 lol. So yes...this is my same base but many many changes for the better. Data wipe may not be 100% necessary but I've written the updater script to do the task. It won't touch internal storage or your sdcard. I promise...

Anyway just a thought...
I am going to try a modded script on my first run.

I do it that way because of the users out there that like to come from 4.2, 4.3, even 4.4 ROMs without wiping, then clutter up the threads with their so called bugs lol.
You've been around this scene long enough to know what I mean... lol
Delete the following lines from my updater-script and it will flash without wiping:
delete_recursive("/data/anr");
delete_recursive("/data/app");
delete_recursive("/data/app-asec");
delete_recursive("/data/app-lib");
delete_recursive("/data/app-private");
delete_recursive("/data/audio");
delete_recursive("/data/backup");
delete_recursive("/data/data");
delete_recursive("/data/diag_mdlog");

delete_recursive("/data/fota");
delete_recursive("/data/hostapd");
delete_recursive("/data/kernelpanics");
delete_recursive("/data/local");
delete_recursive("/data/logger");
delete_recursive("/data/lost+found");
delete_recursive("/data/misc");
delete_recursive("/data/power_supply_logger");
delete_recursive("/data/property");
delete_recursive("/data/resource-cache");
delete_recursive("/data/shared");
delete_recursive("/data/ssh");

delete_recursive("/data/time");
delete_recursive("/data/tombstones");
delete_recursive("/data/tpapi");
delete_recursive("/data/user");
delete_recursive("/data/vbox");
delete_recursive("/data/zipalign.db");
That's lines 22 thru 53 but leave line 29...delete_recursive("/data/dalvik-cache");
Hope this helps
Tried the rom with SafeStrap 3.12, and it is running. But I keep getting forecloses on google apps. Tried to go back to stock and can't get back into SafeStrap. Kinda stuck at the moment. Going to keep trying for the next hour. If all else fails, RSD back, then reroot and try the whole thing over again.

Installed.
All I can say is wow... I've been trying all sorts of ROMs looking for smoothness.
And now I found it in one based on the stock rom. Impressive!
Let's see if phone's snapiness holds on with time.
Also, I was impressed to finally see photosphere working outside a nexus phone, I've tried many times without results.
However... It doesn't really work. How can I explain... it's like the aceleration sensores are not giving real time information to the photosphere app, it's just so Sloooooooooow to orientate with the dots to take the various pictures.
Any ideas? I'd absolutely love to have photosphere working as I love the insane pictures I used to take with my galaxy nexus
---------- Post added at 06:01 AM ---------- Previous post was at 05:38 AM ----------
Can it be the M doesn't have a gyroscope? =X
I thought it was standard on all modern phones
Yeah I could have answered that one myself by looking up the specs of the phone... sadly it doesn't have gyro =\ pity
I really really like the pictures that come out of photosphere!
Carrying on.
I'm loving the rom but not the dark themed apps that come with it.
I read what you replied to someone about just uninstalling them and getting the ones out of the playstore.
How can I do that with the playstore app itself though?
Install a set of gapps?
Which one?
Will that somehow make the system slower? Because I'm really enjoying the smootheness of it all
Sorry for all the questions, and thanks in advance ^^

OK cause captain_throw back had updated the vendor blobs and I believe made some changes to the updater script not 100% sure but his builds are flashing for us Sprint users correctly as before we weren't getting data after reboot. I believe that the system wasn't writing to the device properly.
