Had a rooted Moto X set up to turn the flashlight on when I pressed and held the volume down button while the screen was off. Since the Turbo has no root, can anyone suggest an app that can do something similar without the need for root access?

Torch
I don't know of an application that will add access with the screen off, but I use Tesla LED(https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teslacoilsw.flashlight&hl=en). With Nova Launcher, I have it set to turn on my torch via that app if I double tap my home screen.
Get power toggles and you can either put a torch button on your home screen or notification panel

Like the title says, there is no option (silent) in notifications. Does anyone know if LG forgotten to put the option?

If you hit down on the back button anf hit the settings button to the right I think it's in there. If not maybe just put slient in the ringer?

Guess they didn't install a "none". You can install a silent ringtone/notification, Google it...
I'm on ATT, and the sound toggle in quick settings (when u pull down notification panel) has it. Toggles between sound/vibrate/and silent...
I have smaller hands and I've found the 'reduced size' mode for one handed operation is extremely useful when holding the phone with one hand. However, the shortcut gesture to turn it on it's weird: you swipe from the border into the center, and then back to the border. While you do this this gets registered on the running app and things can get messed up.
Does anyone know a way to have a different shortcut? Like double press the home key, or something similar..
Thanks!

Enable the settings in the first picture, then you get a hidden sidebar which can be opened. Press on the button and it will automatically make the screen reduced without swiping back and forth.
Thanks! That works

I posted this in the bxActions thread but I figured it's also suited for this forum.
As you can see in the first picture Bixby voice has 3 greyed out notification toggles that you cannot toggle off. You can minimize how intrusive they are but you can never get rid of something like Bixby bugging you to upgrade the version and creating notifications in your notification bar.

You also can't get rid of it by de-toggling it in the notification bar.
It would be great to have all the notifications off but not disable Bixby so bxActions can still work properly.
Is there any ADB command that would be suited for this? Or some other workaround?
Been using this for a while solely for that very reason:

Hello. Double tap to screen off - on dont work. Someone have same problem?
Hello. The double touch to turn off only works when you're on the lock screen.

Click to collapse
Use the miui widget. It's even more comfortable - single tap.

I dont think there is an option to double tap to lock on the miui launcher. You could use a third party launcher for that, such as nova launcher or lawnchair, but the gestures will not work.
