Hi,
I've a Gear 2 Neo and Note 3
When i receive notification from Calendar my notification are duplicated.
There is a solution please ?
I have a similar issue with hangouts. I have had sometimes 5+ notifications from a single message.

I'm having the same issue with Outlook.
The counter says 1 notification, but when I delete one, a duplicate pops up.
Sometimes I even get two chimes for the same e-mail.
I've seen this same problem posted on other boards, but have yet to find an answer.
Anyone here had any luck?

Please ignore, I just noticed that this is being discussed with the latest Gear update
With the latest Gear Manager update I get a request to access my Gmail account (I can live with that), but now I receive notifications for EVERY incoming e-mail and not just for my primary inbox as it was in the past. I often don't read notification e-mails and every time I get a new message I get reminded for EVERY unread message on my Gear (vibrates on and on and on).
Does someone know how to revert back to the old notification style or find this update also extremely annoying?
Silly question but how did you set it up to give notifications for Gmail. When I try through gear manager the option is greyed out in the extra notifications section.
Tia
Edit - that's weird I just tried again and now the option is available.

1. When I first paired my Neo with my Note 3 I would receive text notifications on my Neo when I got a new one. I installed Fleksy and uninstalled it and now I don't receive the text notifications anymore. Any ideas? Yes, I made sure notifications for the Message app are on.
2. I have yet to get SVoice to work on the Neo since I got it, It just keeps saying connecting then eventually says failed to connect.
I never used that app and I still haven't received text notifications. Only when I used the new Google Messenger app I received them. So I think it's an update problem.

Hi All,
So I got the P9 a few days ago and while the phone is great I've found that for some reason when I have unread whatsapp messages I keep getting the drop down banner notification notifying me of the message again and again every few minutes as I carry on using the phone. Does anyone know why it keeps doing this? I want a notification when I get a new message but don't want it to keep repeating!
Thanks
I have chosen to use Android Messages vs the the Samsung Messages app that orginally came with the phone. I personally prefer Android Messages as it's simple and not so compacted. Anyhow recently, I notice I can't get notifications for some reason its like it's set to a timer that will allow the notification to be on the lock screen or pull down menu. Perhaps another way of describing it is: it's when I have multiple sms messages but nowhere was I informed that I had messages, but if only one message comes I get the proper notification. It's weird as... All my notifications are properly all set up and the app is updated to the latest verison..
Hi, did you get a solution to this, I have a similar problem on my Note 9 Default SMS App, I never get notifications when I get any texts. I can only see them when i open Messages APP

I had the Watch 4 pro and now the Watch 5 pro and have experienced the same issue. I'm using a Galaxy S22 ultra phone as well. I do not get notifications/alerts on my watch when I get text messages to my default text messaging app, Google Messages. I have received a notification only 2 times. Both times I had sent a text with my phone while at work with bad service, and the message wont send. I then get notified on my watch that the text didn't send. And at that point, and text messages that come through will vibrate on my watch until while that original notification is there. Does anyone have my insight as to whether this is a known issue with Google Messages and the Galaxy Watches? I have all the proper notification settings in place. Its not a deal breaker enough for me to go back to the stock messaging app, but it would be nice to get Google Messages to work properly with the notifications! Both the phone and watch are regularly updated.
