Hi,
When I select text with the S pen it doesn't give me all the options specifically dictionary. Is there a setting that I need to turn on?
It depends on what browser you are using. It only gives you those options in the Internet samsung browser.

Hi,
Does somebody know how to desactivate the confirmation of deleting a sms, coz actually they go in the trash can (no need to confirm then if want to delete or no from incoming sms list) ??
Also, is it possible to change the font in the sms page, i mean when we open a incoming sms ? Would get it in black on white page.
Thanks a lot
Go to messaging > Tools > Options > Message Tab > uncheck 3rd option "Warn when deleting maessagin...".
As for fonts. I dont know.
Thanks a lot !!!
Actually i saw already that option, but i couldn't get in... maybe i had a message selected, so that field couldn't be clicked !!
Anyway, thanks
For the font color i'm still looking for
Does anyone know how to deactivate this in tf3d? I find it a bit dumb going through the effort of pressing menu -> delete only to get a confirmation.
I tried the above, but it didn't work, I'm guessing that's just for the inbox.
Thanks.
I recently flashed the stock 2.3.3 to my Captivate and have been loving it. I cannot, however, find the setting to make the phone vibrate when receiving a text message. I tried hitting the menu key in the app, scrolling to the bottom, only to find there is no option for Vibrate. Only Notifcations, and Select Ringtone. I have also tried looking through the Android Settings with no luck. I must be missing something?
Settings> sound> vibrate> always
Also some ROMs like Serendipity have you change vibration settings through the messaging app. So you go to your text messaging home screen, menu, settings, notifications, then change it.
Does anyone know where I can find the Notification Access option? I tried looking through the settings, but couldn't find anything. Thank you in advance.
It doesn't appear they put a link for it in the rom, I don't think it's the only thing they left out.
Two ways to do this.
1. Install "Light Flow", it will ask you to turn on Notification Access and open it for you. Don't enable it for Light Flow or you won't be able to get back there using Light Flow.
2. Buy and run Nova Launcher Prime, then install TeslaUnread, run it and tap on Notification Bar Watcher to open the notification access setting.
If you use Nova Launcher, you can create a shortcut to almost any settings menu with their activities widget. Other launchers may be similar.
1. Press and hold to bring up the settings options.
2. Choose Widget
3. Under Nova Launcher at the top choose "activities". Press and hold to drop to the screen.
4. Scroll down the menu that pops up until you get to "settings".
5. Press the arrow on the left of settings and then scroll and select the item you want. In this case it would be "notification access".
Sorry for the late notice. I was able to get access to the Notification Access by installing the Mi Band Notify. I was setting up the Xiaomi Mi Band to alert me when I received text messages. As soon as the program was launched, it prompted me to enable the notification access. Thank you for following up.
Hi.
I have Huawei P9 and am struggling to add my contacts on WhatsApp.
I saw go WhatsAppp-> Contacts-> I get a notification ' To help you message friends allow Whatsapp access to your contacts. Tap Settings-permission, and turn Contact On; so I press SETTINGS-> Permissions, it states 'no permission granted', press on Permissions -> give me options of Camera, Contact, Image, Microphone,Sms etc-> whichever I select let;s say Contacts, it gives me a notification ' Screen overlay detected, to change this permission setting you need to turn off the screen overlay settings.Apps-. It gives me the option to Open Settings, where I turn the Draw over the other apps OFF ( it does not show WhatsApp here any way) and then there is nth else to do.
I have turned the Draw over other settings On and OFF, restarted it but I just go in circles.
Anyone can help?

This is a known issue with marshmallow roms.
It occurs due to some filter apps such as cf lumen, twilight, and lately this has been happening for me with floatify.
So I would suggest to disable any such apps and try again.
For some reason I can't access the option to change notification style (like brief or detailed view). I want to change the brief pop up settings, I have done it before but not I can't get to that option in settings. Any idea why or how to get to it?
