It's so sad to see huawei ignore international users ...
Wow, totally ignored, like it doesn't even exist.
Just wondering if there are international versions of other smartphones there? It's from chinese forum so I hope they simply didn't post the international versions there...

I asked Huawei on official polish facebook fanpage and got a reply that it will be available in december.

Whilst I have the P7-L07 variant and could upgrade if I wished to, I've decided against it. From what I have read by various contributors, TWRP isn't compatible although a Chinese language CWM recovery is available. As well, the upgrade to EMUI3.0 doesn't seem to offer a huge increase in functionality plus there are incompatibilities with Xposed. There has to be a reason some users want to downgrade. So perhaps the upgrade presents more problems such that it's scarcely worth the trouble. I'm using a custom ROM created by a Chinese author "KillProcess" (compatible with the L-10) with Apex launcher. All up an excellent combination.
Where can I download the custom Rom that you're using? Is it compatible with my P7-L10?
Thanks

O.K. thX
I mean this.
I also want to know how to sort the contacts by the Chinese Family name, however the euro rom doen't support this. It only sort by alphabets not Chinese Characters.
Oh...no, anyways, thank you so much.
I don't think KL"X" series support Chinese, firmware version depends on marketing areas. For supported Chinese firmwares, u should stick into KK1 or Original Stock ROM.
It is just English Menu for me, I use 3rd party ROM without Chinese menu as well. I can use Chinese IME (GO KEYBOARD) for imputing Chinese, the only problem is no Chinese sorting
---------- Post added at 04:58 AM ---------- Previous post was at 04:46 AM ----------
I found a post in Mobile01, they have modified a ROM here with Chinese support.

I think as long as its multi csc, it should support Chinese language?

some mod euro mod rom have your mother language 中文,中文(繁体)and中文(中华人民共和国修改特别行政区). However these three choice just change some apps language, very few and some app just has changed its app name but the UI still English. And the contactor can only sort by alphabet not Chinese Charactor. And build-in IMEs are all for European countries and no Chinese input. And I dont know the word "support " means what? And UI and build-in apps can be displayed Chines?
I am using ROCKET ROM - v12 and set the language to Chinese Simplified. Installed the Chinese input and the quick dialer(来电通 v2.0.0.6). This quick dialer is good cause you can dial by name's first "pinyi" letter. But not perfer to upgrade to 3.0. Maybe you can find in some forums not the market because the latest version there.

The best it would be a "CM-MiUi-AOKP-PA-LGE-Sony-Samsung-Motorola-HTC-JellyBam-SlimBean-PacMan ROM" and stop drinking soon after.:laugh::laugh:
More freakin' combos, more problems. For ex. the Jelly Bam rom has a good support but it's not the best rom for P970, not even near.
OMFG!!! The developer even wrote "PANAROID".With such sense for the detail, it must be an incredible rom.

Anyone, maybe you, built a MIUI on stock kernel?
If this is 4.4.4, then it's quite clear it's for UB only...but I'm asking in general.

There's no stock 4.4.4 so it's not possible to build stock based 4.4.4
You need MIUI based on stock kernel for LB.

This one is based on aosp, Android 4.4.4, which means you won't have Sony Camera and other Sony stuff, This also means you won't be able to use this on Locked Bootloaders.
Which also means it would be super fast!!!
Would this ROM stay like this for so long?? Placeholder threads ain't allowed...
@mods, please see..

For those who have tried the ROMs from the article- does this seem to be pre-release from AT&T/Samsung or a polished custom ROM?
Does it trip KNOX?
Has the bootloader changed? Can you downgrade back to BRA1?
Big issues from using it as a daily driver?

Dose not trip KNOX, bootloader is 5th symbol from end on build , so no did not change and you can downgrade since bootloader did not change. There will be always some issues in pre-released builds.
seems i get an error when attempting to install

This looks good, though do you believe that rooting the Mate 20 Pro will be achievable? As it stands we don't even have the option to Allow OEM Unlocking in developer settings and so without that we're pretty stuck....
The mate 20 looks sublime, but after the diabolical development scene here on the p20 pro I have to say I wouldn't buy another Huawei as it's going to be a lot worsen following the bootloader decision, even though there is a paid for alternative it's enough to put off so many users, coupled with the mental way Huawei ROMs are made too.
Root will happen, but I'd be very surprised to see many developers go near any Huawei or Honor device again.
Topjohnwu is the man to watch for all things root.

where can i find how to do it?
The picture posted is for the honour view 10 ?
(I googled the model number) as yet the only way to get a rooted device is to buy it pre-rooted. I'm guessing its possible to inject root into a rom image but getting it flashed is a different problem as it looks like Huawei has blocked manual updates from the device and as I understand it you are only able to update ROMs directly from them ?

It wasn't release and probably never be released as Huawei confirms that they will not release the Pie kernel source code so root will close to impossible to happen as of the moment.
